Dr.Aviles was kind, informative, had an excellent personality! He was thorough and made me feel like he cared! It was very refreshing to see a doctor like this! I highly recommend seeing him if you need a gastrointologist!

I rarely write reviews, but this Dr. deserves one. I researched him and well, all Gastros several years ago. Harvard med and great reviews. Once again today knocked my coloscopy out of the park! Nice guy, took time with me, looked like a bull fighter getting ready to get in the ring before the procedure. LIke he was ready for anything. Hope he practices until Im passed the age of colonoscopies as Im sure there are few like him! He also saved my life from Barretts a few years back, but I digress... Usually

Louis Aviles is not just the best Gastroenterologist I know , he is the best human being . He was my mother GI and she loved him.He is amazing, outstanding!!I think very Highly of him .

I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Aviles and staff to those I care about without any hesitation. I felt compelled to write my first review after seeing some misleading ones here that do not accurately reflect my experience in this office. I wish I could give 6/5 stars because Dr. Aviles and staff truly deserve it. I just moved to the Pinellas County area from out of state and was in urgent need of an endoscopy due to the severity of my symptoms. After putting the endoscopy off for years due to my own apprehensions, I came across Dr. Aviles in Clearwater and am so glad that I did. Dr. Aviles and his staff were VERY professional, compassionate, attentive, and made me feel valued as their patient. Dr. Aviles took the time and listened to everything I had to say and after my consultation I knew I was in great hands.Following the consultation with Dr. Aviles, I worked with the office staff to schedule my procedure and go over what I needed to do for my health insurance. These ladies were such a pleasure to work with and (just like Dr. Aviles) they displayed the same professionalism, compassion, patience, and again made me feel valued as a patient. I really needed this procedure done sooner rather than later and they worked to make that happen! Once scheduled they both took the time to break down how I would be billed and what steps I needed to take to ensure I was billed correctly. With their help and guidance to ensure that I would be billed correctly, the procedure ended up being far less expensive than I expected and worth every cent.. Especially after the exceptional care I received from everyone in this office. Again, I would highly recommend Dr. Aviles and staff to those I care about without any hesitation.

I went to Dr. Aviles for some Gastro issues, had Endoscopy and simple Sig He is excellent Doctor, good listener and friendly. Recommended!

Dr. Aviles was so awesome. He did a couple of procedures for me, he was so informative and very concerned with my comfort level and making sure in understood everything about the procedure and my condition. I’m so grateful.

It’s a shame for people like him to practice medicine. The most incompetent doctor with the most stupid policies. Patients are his lowest priority. You’ve been warned. There are way better doctors out there such as Dr. David Shepard. Save yourself. Also, his stupid phone girl is one of those lame people who likes to belittle people when she is NO ONE.

Great Doctor and great staff!

Dr. Aviles and his staff are great, very easy to work with and you can tell that he really cares about his patience. He did my colonoscopy a few years ago and that was my first time ever being under anaesthesia and he explained everything to me and also took away any worries I had going into the procedure.

Receptionist is EXTREMELY rude, avoid until she is replaced.

Poor practice. Refuses a patient because of his partner at Mease.. I had high hopes for you Dr Aviles. I had a bad experience with Ahn and he was absolutely wrong. He is an anchor to your practice When you were needed, you stood by him by refusing me. You are the only other option nearby in my network. But you don’t care. Hippocratic oath I think not.I am left thinking hypocrite. Partner over patient truly hinders your practice.Good luck with that.

Dr. Aviles has a great bedside manner. He is very nice and takes time to listen and go over questions. His office staff is the other end of the spectrum .They are rude, short, and very uncaring. I hope that he evaluates the problems with the staff and makes any adjustments needed. To the staff. Be more attenative and quit hiding behind a window that states do not knock on window. Also answer phones in a more timely manner or hire addtional help to assist.

Doctor was on time. Took time to explain everything. Listened to my questions and concerns. The prep wasn’t fun but the colonoscopy and endoscopy was simple.In five years I will come to this doctor again.

Dont recommend this doctor. I had a terrible experience. Tried to to make an appointment for a second opinion and they didnt want to take me, because I was coming from another dr. Its unbelievable the bad way I was mistreated. This unprofessional attitude makes me feel undervalued with no hope. I dont really understand their protocol so how does it work? You need to be seen by Aviles for the first time and forever so that you belong to his selected group????This Dr Aviles doesnt deserve any respect and shouldnt be practicing medicine.PLEASE BE CAREFUL WITH THIS DOCTOR ALSO HIS STAFF IS NASTY

Very kind and caring Doctor and staff.

Dr. Aviles made me wait two months for an appointment and then say that having been seen in the past by another Gastroenterologist, he did not attend me. Ridiculous, unprofessional and unethical on his part because at 60 years of age it would be irresponsible not to have had previous basic care.
