Dr Kilgore was recommended to me by my neighbor. I was extremely impressed with his very straight forward and practical approach to medicine. He took time to thoroughly explain my condition and the recommended treatment options and answered all of my questions. I had an outstanding first experience with this doctor.

I have been seeing Dr. John Kilgore and his PA Chris Edelman for over 5 years for knee pain. After a series of injections & Covid delay I finally had a knee replacement. The skill, care, and personal interactions have been top notch.

Saw Dr. Kilgore for the first time. Everyone was very nice from the check in, X-rays, physician assistant and of course Dr. Kilgore. I received a knee injection which went very well. We discussed an issue I had about the cortisone injection and relieved all doubts. Wonderful experience. He will be my Orthopedic provider from now on. I recently relocated here to Florida from Arizona and finding new doctors can be cumbersome. I definitely aced this it with this choice. Thank you to everyone I met this day.

Today was my 1st visit with Dr.Kilgore for knee pain. I had a great experience from reception, to Jessica, to CJ, the Xray tech, and then to Dr. Kilgore. My husband just had the robotic knee replacement with Dr John Kilgore on Monday, was back home the same day , everything went well , therapist was out today , all going well , love the whole staff , great care given by all !!!

I could not be any more impressed with how everything was handled at Morton Plant Hospital yesterday for my hip replacement surgery. From start to finish everybody was extremely professional and most notably in very good moods. Dr. Kilgore is an unbelievably skilled surgeon. I seriously appreciate that they are at the forefront of technology with this procedure. My pain level literally never went above zero and I was walking with a walker very quickly after the procedure. I could not be more grateful that I came to this Hospital to have this procedure done. This was literally a life-changing event for me. Thank you very much Dr. Kilgore and staff.

Dr. Kilgore always takes the time to explain ones issues and therapeutic considerations in an understandable context . He is personable while at the same time being necessarily time efficient but at the same time I have never felt rushed during my time with him. I have only interacted with him from a nonsurgical standpoint.

I was sent away from the doctors office because they didnt have the proper insurance information. I rescheduled after I supplied them with the proper information. When I came back I had to wait for 1 hour and 40 minutes to be seen. The entire office emptied out before I was told I would be next. A woman came in after that and then she was called. When I called the next day to complain I was told that they had many doctors and that the person I was talking to did not know which doctor the woman was going to see. She gave one excuse after another and did not acknowledge any wrong doing on their part.I also mentioned that the last two appointments that I had with them I had to wait for more than an hour and she said yes that is just the way it is. You have to wait that long even to see the PA.

Long office wait time. Had a TKR 18 months ago and have no complaints all went very well. Dr Kilgores PA Christopher was very knowledgeable and always willing to answer questions

Had TLKR 7-25-18 with Dr. Kilgore who is first-class. Morton Plant Hosp experience was excellent. 2 week post-op follow up with Chris, PA was less than expected. Waited 2 hours and then Chris didnt seem receptive to my feedback as Id had a lot of pain with my knee. I left feeling like just another number in their production line of follow-up appts. Felt very insignificant. Having been in the medical field for 35 years myself, making a patient wait 2 hrs past their appt time is unacceptable and inconsiderate. Id suggest Dr. Kilgore have more than 1 PA to handle his patient load. Or hire a good practice management consultant to help them improve their patient scheduling and appt. flow.

The doctor is fine but be prepared for a 45 - 60 minute wait in the main waiting room and then an additional 30 minute wait in the patient room before seeing the doctor. Appointments​are booked out at least 6 weeks.

The doctor is very good but the office staff is very uncooperative.
