I loved my experience with Dr. G a few years back, but since he left things have gone downhill. You can NEVER get a hold of anyone and the voicemail is pretty much just keep trying to call us. The doctor I met with was dismissive, insensitive, and impersonal. And when I tried to call to get clarification on how to take the medication hed prescribed, the nurses never called me back. And to top it off, their billing is a JOKE- you basically have to call to pay your bill, and you guessed it.... you cant get a hold of anyone. After 4 months trying to deal with them I transferred to another clinic where I feel valued as a patient now. (And you can bet getting a copy of my records to transfer to my new clinic also hasnt gone well, since they told me theyd send a copy over a week ago and I still havent received it.) If you want to feel taken care of - Id steer clear of this place!!!

Such a great staff to work with. So much more organized than the Sandy office. Easy to work with and always returned calls in a timely manner.

I am working with RCC on baby #2 through IVF and although the experience itself is trying and expensive, I feel so taken care of here. The nurses are so thoughtful, doctors are knowledgeable and billing is so easy to work with and explain charges. I would recommend the RCC to anyone else in my boat.

I cannot say enough good things about this clinic! The staff is SO supportive and answered my millions of questions. My dream of becoming a mom is finally coming true thanks to this clinic! I was so hesitant to seek fertility treatment, but they made me so comfortable and I was even excited to go to my appointments ALL the time! Love this clinic and all of the staff!

My husband and I have been trying for 2 years. Dr. Blauer was great at listening to our concerns and helped us create a treatment plan. I never got to meet Dr. Blauer personally, but he had nurses that I could reach out to and they always responded quickly. The front staff were also wonderful to work with and always so kind. My nurse that I met with all my testings and most of my treatments was Becky Vance. Becky was so amazing and would walk me through everything. She was so patient and always answered all my questions. Never have I ever left the office feeling like I still had more questions. Overall, would recommend this center to anyone struggling to get pregnant. My husband and I were successful with our clomid and first IUI treatment, thanks to the support of RCC!

Overall I’ve loved my experience with the clinicians! Becky at Clearfield is AMAZING!!Unfortunately billing is a joke and extremely frustrating. This is my second time using RCC. The first was in 2018 and we had zero issues. This time no insurance counseling was given. We provided them all our insurance information like we did in 2018 but this time it was expected for me, as the patient, to request billing to submit pre authorizations every new cycle ... problem is no one told us.RCC contacted me 3 days prior to a procedure stating I hadn’t requested a pre authorization. My question is ... why do you need me to do that? If I came in day 2 of my cycle to begin treatment for a procedure in 13ish days, why do I need to tell you what is in my file ? I don’t do that at my primary care physician or dentist. Their billing departments see what procedure I need and submit the appropriate paperwork to my insurance without me needing to remind them about a process I know nothing about. RCC submitted my paperwork on a Friday, my procedure was Sunday. My RN case worker from my insurance called me Wednesday and said she never received any paperwork. Thursday RCC called and said my insurance denied the pre authorization ... but how could they deny something my insurance never received. How does this add up? Now I get to pay out of pocket and research alternative options.

We were able to have one kid so far after two cycles and it was a great experience. This second time hasnt been so good. Its true there isnt a doctor at this location since Dr Gilliland left. But the issue this time around is that they were not very good at walking us through the process. They told my wife she needed to start her meds at a specific time the very next day but she hadnt even had a prescription yet. They dropped the ball there and that was big hassle because they had to be ordered from a specific pharmacy. They never answer their phones. And seem to only call my wife back if at all. Its been frustrating for her as I generally help take care of that and take notes at the appointments but they completely cut out the partner due to covid, like itll make a difference if Im there, smh. Im actually waiting outside as I write while she is inside going through the embryo transfer all alone.Bottom line is that covid shouldnt be an excuse for a worse customer experience, especially for the little things like answering the phones and keeping the patient informed of next steps.The good thing my wife had to say at least was that the nursing staff is still great. So a mixed bag on this review.

Wonderful staff very friendly and explained everything very well. I had a HSG and was nervous and didn’t know what to expect. It went smooth and they were helpful and talked me through the whole procedure. It was not a bad procedure at all. I was expecting cramping and possibly lots of pain but it was not bad at all. I know every body is different but this procedure is not as bad as people make it sound. I am glad they can do this and help so many women! Thanks for making me feel comfortable and helping me through the whole procedure. I appreciate it. Very professional! Thank you!

Dr. Swelstad and his entire staff are amazing! We both knew from the first doctor visit that we finally found the right one. From the moment you walk in the door until the time you leave they make you feel welcome, they sincerely care and willing to go the extra mile for you. Infertility is a very difficult struggle and with your great team we know that we are in good hands. I would like to personally thank the entire staff for making my dreams come true. They are wonderful!

When I came in for my consultation it was wonderful far beyond my expectations. I had to wait to get into see him but he was well worth the wait. Took time to get to know myself and my husband we could tell he wanted to really help us have a family and really looked at our history and knew what we needed to do when we came in. It was refreshing I wish every experience I had with other doctors could be like that experience.

When I first got the call to schedule an appointment I made it VERY clear that I am in a homosexual relationship. My wife and I desperately want to start our family and they seemed very excited and got me Scheduled ASAP which was about a month out.Today (2 days before my scheduled appountment) I got a call informing me that they will not treat me because we are not a heterosexual married couple. I would have had no problem with this if I had been told A MONTH AGO WHEN I MADE THE APPOINTMENT.At the very least you need to make this kind of information readily available. I cant even find a website that has this written as one of your requirements for treatment.

Everything has been fantastic. We ended up pregnant naturally after a failed IUI treatment but everyone has been wonderful and kind during this process.

I felt very comfortable with Dr. G and was very impressed with his dedication to not only us but other patients. He also was available to answer some after hours questions for us at a time when we had a concern. I would gladly go back.

I feel that Dr Swelstad and the office staff are doing a wonderful job. I always feel like everyone takes the time to answer my questions and address my needs. Everyone is always very friendly and welcoming. Infertility is a very sensitive subject and its important to feel welcome and like your doctor and staff views you as an individual. I always feel that way when I come in.

I had never been to an office where I did not have to remind the doctor what my appointment was for, meds I have taken or day of my cycle, until now. Dr Swelstad and the two nurses I worked with most, Bonnie and Heather were amazing. I always felt like they took the time to explain things thoroughly in a way I could understand. They were the perfect combination of being professional and caring/understanding. I always felt like I was being taken care of and never wondered if thy cared about my success.

I only had a consultation done so far but i am very happy. I honestly cannot wait til i start my fertility treatments! Just hope this works for us.

I have not been impressed by this clinic in Clearfield at all! I felt like we were rushed through our consult with no decisions about what we were doing. I thought I would get my questions answered and we would come up with a game plan moving forward. Instead I left confused and had more questions then when I walked through the door. I felt as if the doctor did not listen to us and didn’t care about the 4 failed procedures we previously had. When I called to schedule my blood work I was told they had no where to put me and I got scheduled to drive down to Sandy. That’s not a big deal, perhaps I can transfer to see a different doctor moving forward.

My wife and I went here and had a bad experience throughout the whole thing. First they charged us for every little thing and would send bill after bill. When health insurance doesnt cover any of it, all the little charges add up. After lots of test they still could never tell us what was exactly wrong with my wife and I. We ended up doing IVF and did not conceive. Before the IVF occurred, they wanted me to have a sperm storage since my sperm count was on and off. After the IVF did not work, they didnt mention to me that I had to cancel my Sperm being frozen which added even more bills. Not a great experience for me or my wife.

There is nothing more devastating than wanting a child and not being able to have one in the “natural way”. Then the hunt begins to find the right office, right doctor that you can take all your devastation and emotions and lay them all out on the table. RCC was the perfect fit for my aching heart, Dr. Gililland is one of the most knowledgeable, kind, campassionate men I have ever had the privilege of knowing. I went in at 41, will .3% egg reserve and very little hope that growing our family would happen. Our faith in God and in the skills of Dr. G and the loving kindness of his entire staff has blessed us with a baby coming in July 2019!!!

Took the time to learn my history and really cared about me the one time he saw me since I wasnt actually his patient. But when he filled in for my doctor he acted like I was one of his own patients. Very impressed.

The Doctor was great to meet with! Sometimes discussing fertility issues can be a tender topic but Dr. Swelstad helped to keep the atmosphere light and upbeat. He provided detailed explanations and multiple treatment options.

Infertility is such an emotionally charged topic. It pulls at your heart strings and can make you want to scream. Dr Swelstad was personable, knowledgeable, friendly, and understanding. He took plentry if time visiting with us. The nurse we visited was helpful and kind. Reception was helpful and made the financial side clear. Though I wish I did not need to visit with fertility specialist they all made my visit comfortable. I left understanding the next steps I could take. I really like how they sent me with the notes. It is a great facility.

Dr was very personable and friendly. Made me feel very comfortable and took plenty of time explaining his thoughts and recommendations. I would recommend this doctor!

I had the worst experience here and wouldnt recommend it to anyone. I went to this place because I heard so many good reviews about it from friends with great results but unfortunately that wasnt the case with me. Its so hard to make appointments there because the receptionist doesnt pick up the phone or call back in a timely manner! I went to have them check my ovaries to see of they are plugged or anything and waited on the table for 40 minutes with the x-ray machine on and didnt even get checked on in that whole time. They told me it would take a couple minutes extra for the doctor not 40! I was so sick afterward probably from the x-ray that I couldnt even drive myself home. Also they tried to bill my insurance wrong and make me pay for it. I let them know I had talked to my insurance already and they said its covered. They got very rude with me and said they would check into it. Low and behold they called me back and left a voicemail that they didnt code it right and would re-bill it to the insurance and let me know in 60 days if I owed it still. I never received a callback. One other incident with them before that happened also. They had scheduled me to come in and check if Im ovulating after giving me some medication to make me ovulate. They cancelled that appointment the DAY of! About a half hour before Im supposed to go in and tell me to try a home kit. Well I could have ovulated a day before that so not to accurate and NEVER called me back to ask about it. I just felt like a number and I wasnt cared about obviously. They made an already painful experience even worse. Dont go!

Im still being seen here but every time I call (and I call a lot) they are more than happy to help and be friendly and very sensitive to the struggles. I wouldnt recommend them more! Choose to use them for sure!

Dr. Swelstad was very personable and made us feel really comfortable. He was very knowledgable and made sure we understood what are plan of action should/would be. He was really a nice guy which helped us to feel at ease with the whole process we are about to embark on. He did not strictly talk business and got to know us a little bit too, and was funny.

My first visit was great! Infertility is emotionally painful, and for the first time in a long time my husband and I feel hope! Dr. Swelstad was very kind and informative, and did not make me feel like just another patient. He took his time to answer all of my questions and my appointment did not feel rushed. Thank-you!

Extremely informative and broke down everything to make things very clear and easy to understand. I really like that he gave us an option even though it did not have very high odds of working, he made sure to give us an option so that we did not feel cornered into IVF. Also really love that he brought doing a study to our attention to save money!

I have been very impressed with this clinic every time I have gone in. From the front desk reception to the nurses and MA and the doctors, they have all been so nice and caring.

Dr. Swelstad did not rush us, was patient, explained concepts and provided options. This is a stressful, scary and expensive path and he made us feel confident that he would do his best to support us in finding the right solution for our family. My husband notes that we had to wait almost 20 minutes past our scheduled time but the personal attention was worth the wait.

We went to this Reproductive Care Center for fertility treatment. We purchase the all inclusive infertility package. They told us it covered everything, all the tests. My wife jus got a bill in the mail for an additional $250 from a third party test they sent to a lab. They didnt tell her about the additional cost. They also tried to make her take an additional scan. They seem like dishonest money grubbers. I would suggest finding an alerternate Reproductive Endocrinologist!

The staff and doctor seemed very knowledgeable. My issue is that they have severely unethical billing practices. My husband and I were seen 8 months ago and TODAY I got a bill in the mail for the semen analysis. For months I fought with them and their horrible billing because they screwed up all of our socials. When I contacted them I was told I had nothing left to pay. Now this.. Ive received so many false bills because they apparently cant bill or keep socials and insurance straight. I havent heard from them in 3 months and thought all this was settled. I never would be went if I knew this was going to be this horrible. I do not recommend it, keeping social security numbers and insurance straight shouldnt be this complicated that I get a bill 8 months later. Also, I was told the genetic testing would only be 100 dollars. It was 300 and I was told Id get a phone call to confirm it before it processed. I was not. I guess they all employ unethical billing practices to screw over people. Worst experience with any medical practice Ive ever had.

I went in for HSG test, everyone was great.My only complaint is that they wont consult with me any further, because Im not married heterosexual couple. Im a single 41 heterosexual female, that wants kids that can no wait for Mr. Right to come along.

Dr. Swelstad performed my HSG procedure. I was nervous about it, but he made me feel comfortable and was encouraging about the results. When speaking with my husband and I, he asked us some friendly, non medical related questions about ourselves that made it seem he genuinely cares about his patients.

At first I thought it was a decent clinic, I did notice Dr. Gilliland would never “save” the documents on the computer so every month I had to tell the clinic what my treatment plan was. They had no idea what was going on. EVER. And then I opted to have surgery for endometriosis and was told it would be covered 80% just like everything else. I got the bill back and ended up having to pay a few thousand more then they said. And I over paid. They claimed it was all my insurances fault... I had surgery in March 6, 2018 it is now August 17 and I haven’t seen one single sent from my refund that should be 500$ funny how they want their money NOW or they send you to collections, but vise versa and they could care less.I also called a couple months after my surgery, which I was told it would lessen if not eliminate my pain, to let them know it had gotten worse than before the surgery.... this was the Dr. Response “we just need to get you pregnant.” Weird I thought that’s what I was coming here for in the first place...The longer I’ve been a patient here, almost a year, they’ve don’t nothing for me besides prescribe me Femara over and over again and tell me I shouldn’t have trouble getting pregnant. No answers. (It’s been 3 years but nothings wrong) any way the longer I’m here the more unhappy I am with their service. I feel like they have had ample tome to give me my refund and I still haven’t received it. And calling Michelle in the billing department is a joke getting ahold of her.Over all, they are unorganized, can’t figure out how to bill, are dishonest about what your insurance will cover, and they don’t care about their patients, and basically brush it off and tell you “you’re fine” I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

For the person who believes these are fake reviews just because they are good, shame on you. I went to Dr. Swelstad and he has helped us and made us feel as comfortable as possible. I recommend you go and see for yourself before you make rash judgments. I would recommend Dr. Swelstad to see anyone.

I really appreciated how honest Dr. Swelstad was, but yet how considerate he was at the same time. I liked not feeling more lost leaving the appointment than when we went in. He was very informative and explained our options in detail making sure we understood what he was telling us.

They don’t have a regular doctor at this location.... the np I’d give 1 star, nursing and support staff 4, and the doctors, well I’ve yet to see one more than once and I’ve been going here for over 6 months....

Dr. Swelstad was amazing! He took interest in us a people instead of just a number in the waiting room. He made us feel like we were a priority and that he genuinly cared and wanted to help us. We loved him!

Dr. Swelstad has been very nice since the first day we met him. He took the time to get to know my husband and I and answered all our questions making us feel he was very willing to work with us to resolve our problems. He was never in a hurry while talking to us which showed us that he really cares about his patients.

As we left the office, I was overcome with emotion because of the positive experience we had on our initial visit. We have already told friends how wonderful he is and would refer anyone to him!

All of the doctors we worked with are awesome, very personable, and answered all our questions. Dr. Swelstad was especially patient with us and was coming up with every option to get a successful pregnancy. The nurses are great and are very helpful and timely with information. Dr. Reggio was thoughtful enough to follow up with us after our successful transplant. We had a great experience with this office and have recommended them to other couples considering IVF.

My experience with Dr. Swelstad was great! During my latest appointment, I addressed some updates and Dr. Swelstad easily and quickly adjusted his plan for my appointment. I left the office feeling well informed and optimistic.

This is a terrible clinic! RCC turns away patients that are not heterosexual. After attempting to make an appt for IVF, I was turned away once I mentioned my wife. Im so glad I didnt give a penny to this homophibic clinic.

They take amazing care of their patients and I now have a beautiful daughter I would never have had otherwise!

My husband and I have been trying for 6.5 years to get pregnant. We went to two other clinics in Utah before this one and did Multiple IUI treatments and IVF. None of the treatments worked and we miscarried with our IVF cycle. The doctors said I might have an immune disorder, which I thought was ridiculous. I have never had symptoms of an immune disorder in my 29 years of life. We heard of Reproductive Care Center, Dr. Gilliand, and his Staff and decided to try it again. We were beginning to feel hopeless and exhausted. Dr. Gilliland gave us hope again with proper diagnosing, and thorough his knowledge and the assistance of the other doctors at that clinic we got pregnant with our first attempt of IVF! The best part is we are having twins. Both of our Embryos took. I give credit to all the doctors and staff that helped us. Because of them our dream of having children is a reality. We will forever be grateful for their knowledge and expertise! Thank you! Love the Hawkins and the Hawkins twins!

Dr Swelstad was always willing to spend whatever time we needed to go over our questions and concerns. We never felt pressured to move to the next step before we were ready either.

Dr.Swelstad was wonderful. He was knowledgable, kind, personable, and positive. Would recommend him to any of my friends. I wish he could be my regular ob/gyn. It was a very positive experience for me. His staff is also great!

We had such an amazing experience at RCC. We struggled with infertility for years and decided to pull out the big guns by going for IVF. Dr. Swelstad is kind, patient, knowledgeable and has an excellent bedside manner. The nurses are great, especially Heather. All of the staff is professional, and the office is clean, tidy and organized.We got pregnant with twins after the first try. My wife had some unusual pains several weeks in, and when we couldnt get into our regular OB, Dr. Swelstad slid us right in and looked at the situation. He was very calming for some young, inexperienced parents-to-be. We really appreciated that!I just cant say enough about our experience overall. Well definitely be going back for the next kiddos, and yes, we would recommend this clinic for IVF.

I found Dr. Swelstad to be very rude! I am overweight and he told me I needed to lose 5% of my bodyweight! I asked him if my odds of getting pregnant would increase if he lost more and he told me that I likely wouldnt lose the 5% so there is no reason to talk about losing more. I have lost 20% of my body weight since then and am still having problems with infertility, but there is no way that I would step back into his office to get assistance! You cant treat women who are going through infertility problems like garbage just because they are overweight!

Myself and my hubby went through the U of U for approx. 5 yrs. with NO results. The U of U discovered Freddys bad semen and that was it. Nothing was ever explained to us WHY his sperm were bad. And there was no real answer to why we werent getting pregnant. Going to Dr. Swelstad was something I wish we would have done yrs. ago. We met Dr. Swelstad in Sept. 2012, within 4 weeks he found that I also had a fertility issue that the U of U NEVER even thought about checking. In Dec. 2012, I had both of my tubes removed by Dr. Swelstad, and began the IVF process in Feb. 2013. Now I am almost 8 weeks pregnant. Dr. Swelstad solved our infertility problem in less than 7 months. Words cannot express how AMAZING Dr. Swelstad and his staff are. DR. SWELSTAD AND HIS STAFF ARE THE BEST!!! I will recommend them to EVERYONE!!! We are truely grateful for everything he has done!!! ~ F.K.M.

They refused service due to Marital/Familial status regardless of the fact we already have a child and have been together for over 10 years. This is illegal and against the Board of Ethics.
