Patrick was awesome to work with. Went in looking for a small loan and he helped save me money by refinancing at a lower interest rate as well as get me into a small signature loan.

This is not a credit union this is a criminal enterprise that somehow skirts the law. These sleaze bags are no different from Wells Fargo and the other big banks. I told them multiple times I did not want their premium checking which cost five dollars a month and then they automatically turned it on. This might not seem like a big deal but it’s an expression of the moral decay that exist within this organization. I switched to Golden West because I thought it would be better than America First and I thought they would have more ethics than the big banks. Most credit unions do. But not this one. Don’t be fooled by the positive reviews of people who don’t know they are being scammed. The leadership of this credit union deserves to rot in prison along with the other crooks who are completely devoid of any moral backing or semblance conscience for the gross misconduct of the way they treat their customers. There’s no difference between robbing a convenient store and stealing five dollars a month from thousands of people. Carrie Wallen should be in prison. If somebody robs a bank, robs a store, or steals in any other way they go to prison but somehow Carrie Wallen can rob thousands of people and doesn’t go to prison. But God will hold her accountable in the next life there’s no escaping that.

The loan officer was extraordinary! Started the process about noon. She took the time to make phone calls and get all the information necessary to process the loan. She has everything processed to meet the post office deadline to overnight the payment. I couldn’t have wished for better experience.

The 1 star reviews are outdated, the employees are kind and professional. They always have the members best interest in mind. They have also updated the branch and it looks way more modern and professional. I would highly recommend Goldenwest.

I applied for a signature loan online one evening. The next morning a Representative called and emailed to introduce himself and let me know he would be working on my loan. Additional documents were required from me, I supplied them what was necessary. They were not able to do the original amount I had requested however, they gave me a counter offer which I accepted. Final documents were all done online and the funding was done 30 minutes after I signed. Thank you Alessander and Goldenwest for a great job. I would recommend you as my preferred credit union.

Worst Credit Union ever. My account kept getting fraudulent charges. Every year I banked there there were issues. I got notices about 5% of the time. They did a terrible job correcting it. They charge fees and even though its not you they never refund the fees. Getting help is a nightmare. If you choose to use this feckless place you are on your own.

I went to make a deposit and I went to drive thru and they said I could not make a deposit because it was in a different bank account. There’s no sight saying anywhere in the bank that I can’t make a deposit to a different bank through drive thru .

Samantha has been a wonderful help for every transaction we’ve made here so far. I have been with Goldenwest for many years, and I have never received the customer care from any branch like I do from the Clearfield location. They are very friendly and personable. Sarah Hauser helped my son get in his first car loan and explained everything to him in a way he understands and showed him what he can do to save money on the payments and keep his credit going up. Chase always has a smile on his face and greets everyone the same.

This is my first review of this location - usually dont have any issues. Issues start becoming more common when I want to take out a fair amount of cash from my account. The teller went from being some what friendly to noticeably irritated. She asked me to clarify a few times how much I wanted to take out and then says well thatll be a run on the vault. I didnt think I was such an inconvenience of being a loyal customer of over 13 years.I would recommend to any friends, family & associates to look else where for your banking needs.

I got my car loan from them which I had a good experience with the guy was nice and helpful which was great! But going in to make my payments is a different story. I have had to tell them what my change back should be. I have had other annoying situations so I just make my trips as fast as I can.

Julie at the drive through was offish and rude. Didn’t say hello , didn’t say thank you, didn’t want us to even drive up and bother her basically. Just looked at us and pushed out the drawer at me. Looks aren’t everything darling. Didn’t even apologize that what we needed done couldn’t be done at the drive through just said she can’t do it and to go inside.
