Front desk acts like everything is such an inconvenience for them.I brought my son in who is only 15 months old for getting hit in the face and was bleeding but the bleeding had stopped so I wanted them to just check it out make sure for peace of mind that he was going to be OK. They constantly say do not go to the ER go to your physician first if it can be handled by a physician. I did not want to expose my infant to the ER when it was something that could be seen at his pediatricians office. The lady at the front desk had an attitude saying they dont take walk-ins and acted like it was such an inconvenience for them to add an infant to the schedule after I had said please again to just see him begging them to only take a look. I sat down and waited some minutes then just decided to take him home and take our chances since we were so unwelcome. I could never imagine that happening to someone elses baby and having that attitude with response. I definitely think they need to have better manners/tone when speaking to patients and families and enjoy their job helping others. I absolutely love the doctor we see so unfortunately we dont want to change after 16 years but considering it.

Fast and efficient check in for a Saturday flu clinic. The nurse who gave my daughter her first ever flu vaccine was incredibly nice and comforted her. This is our main pediatrician and we ADORE Dr. Akwari. She is the best!

We finally found a practice and Pediatrician we love and Trust! Dr Beavers is amazing and very thorough! The office is nice and clean. They dont make you wait very long like most offices. 5 stars!! My daughter received her Covid vaccine today. We were in and out. The longest part of the process was the 15 minute wait after receiving the vaccine to make sure there were no adverse reactions.

My son received his second Covid 19 vaccine.The staff is absolutely fabulous! As soon as we walked in I filled out a simple questionnaire. We walked back he received his vaccine within a couple of minutes. ❤

If my children and I didn’t love Dr. Schuett(Jenkins) as much as we do I would be looking for a new office to bring my children. Office staff is incredibly RUDE and I seem to have issues with them every time I visit.

Amazing staff. Our family has always had great experiences at Jeffers, Mann and Artman. We love Dr. Degele. But I recently had an encounter there that exceeded any previous expectations. Anxious about some test results that we were waiting on, I stopped by the office after hours. CMA Marcia Pierce not only helped me, but truly went above and beyond all with a smile and cheerful demeanor. World class service along with tons of kindness. Great to know that my kids are in such good hands.

JMA pediatrics is the only place I go for my kiddos. I actually moved further away and still take my there. I have 4 kids that go to the Clayton office. 2 of my kids are special needs and JMA coordinates with Duke specialists to make sure my kids get the best care.

This is the worst pediatric office I have been too. When you call to set up an appointment, they rush you. When you leave a voice mail for the nurse they call hours later or the next day, they have also made mistakes on my medical bills. And for some reason they cant seem to keep my updated information like an address. Leaving this office!

Took my kids to get their 1st COVID shot and it was quick. Service was excellent.

The nurse was outstanding! I personally hate needles and I barely even felt the shot happening! 10/10 recommend!

Scheduled appt Saturday morning & received vaccine 2 hrs later. The staff was friendly, helpful and well organized. Total visit time less than 25 mins including 15 mins wait after shot. Great job JMA staff

Huge mistakes and mix ups in billing department with my tricare insurance Also i NEVER have my child get seen on time. Not once have i ever been seen on time and once almost an hour i waited and got seen after constantly poking my head out to flag a nurse down. This place is mediocre at best. I am so very disappointed with this office!! You are never able to talk with anyone when you call as the phone staff arent clinical. They tell you this frequently and often and then make you leave a phone message for the nurse. The phone nurse has up to 2 hours to call you back. I truly wish there was a person that would be able to tell you what to expect and not have to wait all day to get guidance. Then when the nurse does call, you get instructed to set up a telehealth visit and have to call the office back again to schedule. Why couldnt this have been set up with the first call? This means more waiting to know what needs to happen with my child. There is much misinformation when scheduling an appointment. No efficient process when you arrive. And no introduction by the staff to know who they are and what they are doing.Then when testing does happen, no one calls with results. I have to play the detective and wait on hold all day to get any information. Im still on hold now for over 30 minutes! Id be fine to look on the online portal, but no information is there either! No record that testing was performed or any pending results are waiting.We chose this practice when we moved here 2 years ago because we heard many good things, but I have never been impressed. The office wouldnt let us set up well child appointments with the same doctor in the group, so now 2 of my children see one provider and the other 2 see a different provider. Thankfully I havent needed much from this office, but on the few occasions we have its been extremely frustrating.

I have to say not only are they a great pediatric office but they show they care. My daughter is almost two lmonths and at her one month my depression/anxiety score was high. They had called me a week later and two weeks after that to check up on me and see what they can do to help. Depression runs high in my family and my father is going through a rough time right now and I could only wish his doctors office would take their time out of their day to make sure he’s safe like Jeffers is doing for me. I almost never see this good of service when the doctors office calls to check on your wellness. I truly appreciate it and so does my boyfriend. My son is also 5 and we have been attending this office for the past 2.5 years. The lactation nurses are great and so far I have seen dr.jenkins, Garrish and johansen and I have had a good experience with all of them. The on call doctors are responsive and good aswell💜

I have had 3 children- 14,12, and 10 that have always gone to this practice and the doctors and nurses have always treated us like family. We have had some of the same providers through the years that we try to stick with because they know my children so well, but even when we have gotten a provider we do not know as well they have always exceeded our expectations. This office is top notch!!!!! Thank you for everything you have done.

Due to the COVID-19, I’ve been really hesitant to bring my 4 year old in for any visit. Unfortunately, he had a cough we couldn’t get rid of. These nurses and doctors are really touching my heart today. They are out here in tents, taking vitals and diagnosing these children right from the child’s car seat. I’m so thankful to have the peace I do sitting here knowing that I don’t have to worry about my son and that they’ve gone completely above and beyond for my family! Thank you all so much for all you do!!!! ❤️❤️❤️

I would recommend Jeffers Mann and Artman pediatrics to anyone! I take my kids to see Dr. Chris Barry and we love him. We have also seen almost every doctor in there from sick visits and they are all great as well as the nurses. Front desk staff is always awesome too. I’ve never had a problem getting my kids in for a sick appointment last minute, they are just a great practice.

Wonderful practice with lovely nurses, a great reception staff, and knowledgeable doctors! We havent had an experience at this office that hasnt been spectacular from the moment we walk in to when we leave. Having their support during the first few months of my babys life has been such a blessing.

They flat out suck and have no regard for any concerns you have for a sick child. Multiple failures here, we have given them the benefit of the doubt over the years but the quality of care has diminished greatly and we feel our kids health and safety are no longer a priority to this practice. In reference to the Clayton facility, my recommendation is to find a better practice that will have some sort of compassion for a sick child.

Been coming to this practice for years and love all the doctors but wanted to write every view today about Mary, one of the LPNs. Both my girls got their ears pierced there today (yes, they do that too!) and Mary is a saint! What a sweet and calm woman! She made us feel comfortable, explained everything in depth and did an awesome job. She took most of the fear away. What a nice experience. Thank you, Mary!!!

JMA Pediatrics is an wonderful practice and I highly recommend them!! We’ve had nothing but positive experiences, from the front to the back. They are always so accommodating and the providers and staff are just amazing. They truly care about my children and their well being and us as the parents. Having evening and weekend hours is huge for my family, and have saved us many urgent care and ER visits. Having pediatricians that you truly trust is so important and we have found this at JMA! We are so thankful for them!!!

The new location is beautiful and spacious. We didn’t have to wait very long at all (less than 10 mins) before we were called back. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My daughter insisted we stay after our appointment to play with the toys in the waiting room.

The front desk receptionists are HORRIBLE! They are rude, unhelpful, and treat you like garbage. The doctors are wonderful and the only reason we put up with the complete failure of the front desk receptionists

We love Jeffers, Mann and Artman, they’ve all been so nice to our boy, but we especially LOVE Dr. Beavers! I will not see anyone else, and she travels to diff locations, so if I have to I’ll travel just to see her! Our Boy loves her and lights up as soon as she walks into the room!

Brought my newborn daughter here yesterday for her very first appointment. I was extremely satisfied with the quality of staff. Especially the lactation specialist. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful and I was told that if I ever called in to the office my phone calls would always be returned that day! Thats something Ive yet to experience from any other office

I just recently switched practices. I first took my daughter to the Wake Forest location, and they completely misdiagnosed her leading her to suffer through her condition for nearly 24 hours and having to be brought to Wake Med for treatment, where I explained the exact same symptoms to the doctor and they immediately knew what the problem was. I started taking her to this location after we moved because it had good reviews and I was trying to be open minded. First of all, I find it incredibly hard to believe that I cant get a single appointment sooner than 2:30 in the afternoon months in advance. Second, they more than once forgot to call in prescriptions for my daughter that they said they called in after I left her appointment. Most of the time, I end up just Googling how to help her since I take her here and get sent back home every time with no answer and no help. I moved from NY to NC two years ago and I miss the pediatrician recognizing my daughter and being very friendly and helpful when I would have to take her to the doctor, I simply dont feel that way at this doctor, so Ive decided to move on. They get two stars because the office is clean and there isnt usually an astronomical waiting time.

Recent bad experience with clinic policy. Need to take my children for 3yo and 5yo well child. They cant schedule them back to back since according to them a 5yo is an extensive visit. I have no concerns/questions for my kids and just there for shots.the doctor was in and out after 5 min. Took 10 min to give shots and check out, that was 1105 -1145 visit. Now I need to sit out and wait for my 3yo to be seen at 1:30 PM since they cant see her after my son. I scheduled this appt over a month ago and the schedule that day was very open. I spoke and ask multiple time in front desk. But they are very inconsiderate and just ignored me. We have been with them of 5 years.

I have been going to Jeffers and Mann for about 13 years now. Never had an issue with care or appointments, perscriptions filled...all good! I do notice lately, since the move that one of the front desk girls is very rude. Seems stressed. Maybe because she was sitting at the first window as you come through the doors? Maybe they need more staff?? I did stand back and wait until she would allow me to approach...Not sure. I like that the office has a girl out front to greet you and help you check in. Heaven forbid if it was the front desk girl! I guess the greeting and enviornment is just as important to me as medical care, thats why I gave 3 instead of a 5. The medical care is good though.

I have been using this practice for a while now for my 3 kids- they wouldn’t schedule my kids together and I don’t have the luxury due to my current schedule since I stopped working night shift.I spoke with the scheduler who had zero customer service or compassion for motherhood’s ups and down. I asked to talk to a supervisor and the lady I spoke with is even worst. She asked me to look for another practice if I wish and said have a nice day in a nasty manner.This is really terrible!!!Update: was able to find another practice that didn’t decline seeing them together. I don’t think it’s a crime to have 3 children and request to have them do yearly physical together!It’s a shame that they don’t care!!!

Dr. Jenkins has been WONDERFUL. She pays attention to details and really makes my daughter and I comfortable. The staff here are wonderful, they always call back and I love that they’ve extended their sick appointments to the weekend as well.

Id give five if their scheduling didnt suck. Like today. Called at 430pm trying to get there by closing (5pm). Sorry, but thats when daycare said my 6mo was sick and I ran and got her. Apparently I have to talk to a nurse. Nurse still hasnt called back 45min later. Theyre closed now. The lady at the front desk assured me a nurse would get right back to me. Wrong. The nurses voicemail even says expect a two hour wait. If you want an office with good after hour care, this aint it. Its also not my first time calling. Seems my child only gets sick on weekends and at night. Other than that, all of the staff is great. Docs and PAs are great.

Weve come here with all three kids. Great nursing staff, front desk always helpful and polite, phone support easy when there are billing questions. The best part by far has been Dr. Degele (whose name Im embarassed to say I cant spell no doubt). She is wonderful, remembers details of our kids lives and always puts them at ease. The size of the practice means there has always been someone available for sick visits when needed and the after hours call nurses always returned our calls quickly when the kids were small. I fully recommend this practice.
