10-21-21 I went in to be seen. The rude employee behind the desk with no mask on said I couldn’t be seen until tomorrow. This was around 5:30pm. They close at 8pm. She was very rude to the person in front of me as well as the person on the phone. I would definitely not want her to be the first point of contact in my business. She lacks customer service.

I arrived early at FastMed Urgent Care for my 9:45am appointment. I was welcomed by the receptionist at the front desk/window . The receptionist was very professional even though I could tell she was multitasking and a lot of pressure. Yet she handled every call with dignity and respect to everyone. Kudos to her. When the check in process was over I was called by the doctors assistant to go to the examination room. The doctor was very respectful and attended to my needs and was very professional. My experience was great and I was finished in a timely manner.

Booked online for a 3 pm check in understanding this was not an exact appointment time but more of a pre-registration. I Arrive at 3 and was advised 4 people were in front of me. An hour and a half later I still had two people ahead of me. Finally just over two hours I went in to ask for my co-pay back because I couldn’t stay any longer and after a surprised look I was told they were just going to call me in. So I stayed, my appointment lasted 15 minutes, that doctors/nurses were very nice, the receptionist not as friendly, she was not rude just not a people person. This was by far the longest wait at an urgent care I’ve ever experienced.

We came in for a sport physical at 6:30pm on September 20th. We had a really nice conversation with the man and woman checking us in which made the short wait better. When we were leaving after the appointment was over, my daughter said, well that was fun!. She really enjoyed how the woman talked with her about JROTC, the military and other similar interests! She definitely made an impression. Thank you for the wonderful service. We appreciate it!

Excellent service and staff! They went out of their way to assess my 15 month old for an allergic reaction right before closing. They had already stopped taking patients for the day and still had about an hour an half wait time for people that were checked in. None the less, the lady at the front desk took us to the back and had the PA look at my child right then and then. We were out within 10 min. Those two were awesome!! Thank you for going above and beyond for my family!

FastMed in Clayton North Carolina, makes going to the doctor almost a pleasure. Their staff is always friendly but professional, kind and understanding. From the receptionist to the PAs to the doctors, you get the feeling that they really want to help you and will not hesitate to you refer you to a specialist if they feel that is needed. They are so convenient, and such a pleasure to work with, that I never worry that I will be judged or made to feel ashamed or anything other than positive, professional and kind treatment. I want to thank them publicly for all they have done for me!

The nurses couldn’t give me any helpful information on the reason I went. Maybe cause a lack of knowledge. I wish I would’ve gone earlier when the actual doctor was there to get some real help. I didn’t see the professionalism in the employees or felt privacy between me and the nurses that helped me. I just feel like they go back tell each other everything. And it’s not right.

I was hesitant to use this facility because of a prior bad experience. Because of COVID, I decided it might be safer than the ER and gave it another try. I had a nasty cut and was ushered straight to a room. The doctor who treated me was very compassionate and made sure I was in as little pain as possible. He thoroughly explained each procedure before beginning. It was a completely different experience this time. I am well pleased with the care.

We needed a Sports Physical asap and this was our option at the time. The woman (LaToya) at the front desk is simply amazing trying to help everyone coming in with limited staff and time. She was very helpful as we were not prepared with Physical paperwork, but it all worked out as well as her reminding me about the online coupon for a $25 sports physical.We waited almost 2 hours, but we knew going in it wasnt going to be in and out.Several people came in while we were waiting, some were testy but most understood when told they had no further availability for the night.Once we got into the office, the PA was super nice and got us right out of there while apologizing for the wait.....seriously like it was his fault, absolutely not. They are doing the best they can just as everyone else is.

The doctor and facility were great but the receptionist said out loud that she hates her job and it showed. She was Very rude to my husband and every patient I saw her interact with. I suggest their office find someone with better manners and run the front desk

I did a drug test in june .Ive never gotten my results. 3months laterI called no one ever picked..another fastmed told me that this specific location never answers calls...I went to the clinic to ask for a refund that said I will get my refund in a week..a month later NOTHING..I went back again they gave me two numbers to call. one went to someone s personal cell ..the other never went through..On finding the right number they pushed me to satisfaction department who were to call in 4hrs.. 5days later they never called...On calling back they said they waiting on an area managers approval who they not sure when he/she would reply...FASTMED I paid for services that you never delivered. Give me my money back..

Cant give it 5 stars because of the wait time and the unnecessary procedures taken. The staff was nice and professional. But, unless youre in a bind, dont go to fast med for a Covid test. They charge $250 for the test and they make you wait 2 hours to be seen when all you want is a rapid test. They go through a whole routine visit for this testing that cvs can do in under 15 minutes. I know its not the people in the facility, but its the corporation and their stupid policies. Make sure you eat before you go and pack a lunch for while youre there.

Everyone at this location was really helpful. From the front desk to the back! Jessica is very spirited up front, Chelsea was absolutely a delight and super friendly. Amanda the PA was so nice and really helped to get me feeling better. These two seem to work really well together and communicate well. I highly recommend this location.

I had to bring my two year old in on a Sunday morning after he fell at church and busted his head open. I was so thankful everyone here was kind and got us seen quickly! He ended up needing a staple, but they were able to take care of it. Saved us a trip to the emergency room. Definitely recommend this urgent care!

If I could rate a 0/5 I would this joke of a medical facility is consistently the SLOWEST place in Clayton. The wait time is ridiculous and the staff is always very unprofessional. I highly recommend going somewhere else, even if the other doctors office is an hour away you will probably leave sooner and with better help than if you drove 5 minutes to Fastmed. I’m surprised someone hasn’t died in the waiting room while waiting for help because it takes so long.

False advertising.Ad says check in online and skip the line. But I checked in for urgent care in the wee hours around 1:45am when I was in so much pain I could not sleep, was given an estimated appointment time of 8:45…and was just told at 9:15 that my wait would likely be at least another hour.???Why. Check. In.???Nothing but false expectation setting. When you get here in person, you begin your wait.Find. Another. Provider. - one that values your time.!!!Dont waste your time and money on “urgent care” when you are not cared for urgently. Please just go to your family doc who will likely work you in even more urgently!!!

My visit started out nice. The staff was nice to my face but I heard them talking about me when I was in the room waiting for the doctor. The doctor didnt seem to want to help me. She told me she would call me about my test results in 3 to 5 days, its been 3 weeks and I still havent received a call.

This is the worst location of the FastMed s urgent care. On 9/14/2020 I came in and did a DOT physical that my company never recieved the results for. First I called and was told they have a new system and I would have to contact medical records for the results. They gave me the number I called and waited on hold for 30min then I was disconnected. So I went to the Fast Med on Hwy 70 in Clayton, the new clinic manager (which is the same lady that I gave my urine for my DOT physical) to tell me she can give me the number to lab where it was shipped to but not before the receptionist stated It says incomplete. Which lets me know she never sent it but lucky for i took a geniescan of the paper she gave me so now I am contacting the state because this is very unacceptable. Corporate needs to visit this location. I know jobs are short staffed but not doing your job is not ok.Tyesha

Karen here (insert humor) - want to share this because I work in the field and help patients all day everyday with benefits, appointments etc…. Computers & programs aren’t always accurate!!Did online check in, arrived @ 6:35, the lady at check in said my insurance card was not active…. Nothing changed on my plan this year, so I asked ‘are you able to call and verify that?’ Her response was “no we don’t call… if you want to be seen you can pay out of pocket.” hmmmm - wait room with several patients, 6:30 at night- LESS than stellar patient care… it’s sad, my family & I have come here numerous times over the years and have recommended this place based on previous visits. We will not be back… DO NOT RECOMMEND as they don’t seem to want to go the extra mile to help .

Honestly I only come to urgent care when I cant see my normal doctor but I need to be seen that day and its not emergency. Sure sometimes the wait can be a little lengthy but not always. Ive always been treated great, hooked up with solutions for my ailments and sent on my way. Ive got zero complaints. It works for me.

Staff was nice. Doctor was excellent but facility gets lower marks from me. It took over 3.5 hours to be examined. I feel the transparency of a warning due to short staff (one health provider on hand), that the wait was likely over two hours was needed. FASTMED is a misnomer.

Do not waste your time here. This office has been cut down to a skeleton crew and they have only one nurse and one provider, even though walk-ins are still allowed and they are the third busiest office in the state of North Carolina. I made an appointment because I was sick. Proceeded to sit in the waiting room for three hours as I watched at least 15-25 people walk in with no appointment asking for a physical exam and almost all of them were taken back within a matter of minutes. The front office staff was incredibly unprofessional and explained my insurance as if I was a fool, yet I completely understand how insurance works. I sat there listening to the front desk staff have personal phone conversations, loudly discuss confidential patient information in the small waiting room for everyone to hear, and make phone calls regarding their own medical appointment later that day. The medical staff improperly diagnosed me, so I had to receive treatment elsewhere a couple days later to finally get real medical treatment. You would be better going to MinuteClinic at CVS or making an appointment with your primary care physician. Huge waste of my time and money and they did not help me.

Not a great experience today. I have been a patient here for years and they are actually my selected primary care provider. The PA I saw was not knowledgeable or helpful to my situation. I went in due to having a horrible cough and sore throat. She told me I might have this or that or I could have a COVID test or strep test but she didn’t think that’s what I had even though she couldn’t rule it out until I got it done. And she made sure to emphasize payment for the same. It was the first bad experience I have had here as the other PA I usually see is always amazing! I left feeling confused and still no answer to my issues even though the tests I paid for were both negative. I don’t think she understood how uncomfortable I was before going there. I didn’t sleep well at all the night before. I could have stayed home and saved a few hundred dollars to be honest! She also kept referencing me seeing My primary care without ever acknowledging it was them. I just felt like this visit could been completely redone.

He also explained everything about what he was doing and answered all my and my husband questions.The rest of the stuff were very professional in treating me. I was in and out within 1 1/2 hours.This is our families primary care facility and we have been coming here since 2015.

Front desk staff were pleasant. I did online check in for 1:00 pm. And got there at 12:45. I waited 2 hours. But I understand with it being and urgent care who allow walk in appts. That is what they do. The lady that took me back was very nice and the Dr was very nice also. Some people in the lobby were getting very upset about the long wait times but I didn’t care I just needed to be seen. Expect to wait at urgent care...... if they are busy. Which is usually every day.

Was really disappointed in this place. I sent my daughter here on Friday d/t an accident where she had fallen. It was around 7 when she arrived and she was treated awful. They rushed her through from start to finish and basically just wanted to send her to an ER. There was no treatment given with any kind of compassion. She was made to feel like they could care less about her and was just ready to leave. It started from the time she walked thru the door till she walked out. She was not even given any information about what was going on. When I say she was in and out of there from start to finish in under 30 mins for a fall that she had a hurt shoulder and possible hit of the head is sad. They even told her to drive safe. I work in the medical field and I can not believe this place would treat their patients like this. I sent her there because I couldn’t get to her as soon as I felt she needed to be addressed. I will NEVER suggest this place to anyone. Urgent cares are set up to help keep people from having to go to the ER. They are not to dismiss a patient and send them there anyway after charging them for a visit you literally did nothing in. Then after all that you have the never to send a text thanking her for her feedback when she did not even send anything in at all is very suspicious to me. Wonder how many of these stars are for real after what I have seen. 1 star given because I couldn’t post without doing it.

I was a walk-in patient so my wait time was about an hour, but considering that it is an urgent care facility, that is not too bad. The staff were probably the friendliest I have ever come across at any medical facility. Everything was clean neat in the lobby as well as the exam room. The nurse and PA that saw me were both kind, professional, and did what they had to do in a timely manner without rushing. I would give 5 stars if there was not confusion with paperwork when I got there. They forgot to give me something to fill out and I feel like it made my wait time longer. I will still attempt to go to this urgent care first if I need those services again.

Let them know time was important , as I had several things to do.2 hours later I’m still not checked in , because the paper work they want to see isn’t completed from my supervisor. When trying to communicate with the staff and my supervisor to get clear guidance from the staff I was walked away from and phones were answered.I don’t leave reviews on one time events this is my second experience with them .

I was seen back in January for a workers compensation incident. The doctor was very professional and really helped me get comfort that I was unable to get from the ER the two times I went. That being said the front desk staff are the worst. The date of my visit I had to explain 5 times that I work for Banfield Pet Hospital and they continued to insist I work for Petsmart. Both I and my manager had to explain to the front desk staff that Banfield and PetSmart are not the same company and that they were filing the claim wrong to which they insisted that they were doing it right and PetSmart was who they needed to file it under. My claim officer finally contacted them and had it switched since they refused to listen to me and my manager. Months go by and I dont hear anything from FastMed and I get a collections notice in the mail for my visit in January. I call their billing department and they tell me there are forms for me to sign that were never provided to me. They explain I need to go in and fill out these forms and the bill will be taken care of. I go back to this location yesterday and explain the situation and the front desk staff get an attitude with me and state that they filed the claim and it was declined by my workplace. When I explained I had talked to my claims officer and they didnt receive anything from FastMed she rolled her eyes and stated that the form I did not sign was not something they had in January and was unsure why they didnt file the claim and the billing department was lazy. I asked to fill out the form anyway since that was what the billing department said I needed to do anyway and she gave me a hard time before allowing me to fill out the form, all the while bad mouthing the billing department. I then explained to her that the billing department wants the form emailed to them and tried to provide her the email and she declined to take it saying she would fax it over. I called the billing department following my encounter and the woman I spoke to was fearful they would not correctly receive the form since they only email and so she connected me to their customer service line. I left a voicemail with them but have not gotten a response. Only reason I gave this clinic 1 star is because the care I got from the doctor was great but the nurse was rude and the front desk staff were awful.

I made an appointment online for my physical. They notified me via text they were running behind and let me know via text when to arrive. That was very helpful so I was not waiting for a long time.I was in and out in an hour. Very friendly and professional and knew what they were doing. Highly recommend going to FastMed in Clayton.

Unfortunately I am required to at least give you one star, or else I would select zero stars if it was an option. Very horrible first experience with Fastmed. Would recommend going anywhere else, and I will personally never go back. I went in for a physical and also have been having some back pain for quite some time. When the doctor entered and I mentioned my back pain I was told, “You can’t be seen for both your physical and your back pain, only one or the other.” Last time I checked a physical is an overall assessment of ones physical health. So it makes no sense how my back limiting me physically isn’t included in an assessment of my physical well-being. I understand y’all probably just wanted to make me schedule another visit so I could be billed twice as much, but we both know you have the capability to bill me for both at once. The only positive was the nurse who took my blood work. She was very professional and very comforting even when she had to poke me twice to draw my blood. I will never again step foot in your business, and I will steer anyone I possibly can as far away as possible too. Hopefully this review can keep someone else from having a similar experience as mine, and your business can make some greatly needed changes to better provide care to people who are clearly asking for it.

Went on line and registered and scheduled appointment time and it was so easy to do. FastMedUrgent Care sent text acknowledging the appointment time. When arrived I sent a text that I was there and they sent one back when time to come in. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The nurse was so sweet to my 3 year old when we came in for x-rays on her arm. She went out of her way to make sure she felt safe and comfortable. We were seen almost immediately after I finished signing in. John was so kind, very clear, provided me with our options and kept me informed at all times with what was goin on. I would rather stand in line at an amusement park for an hour just to get up to the attraction and it close down for the day. This place is terribly slow. If you need help, you are better off going to the ER and paying thousands instead of relying on this place to treat even the most minor problems. I would rather die before I was treated at fastmed.

When I came in I was greeted by 2 ladies, the lady that helped me was kinda rude and impersonal, but I according to their conversation she wasnt having a good day. I get it we all have lives and some are not perfect so I wasnt bothered about it. She still managed to give me good service. When I got called back Keyonna took care of me and was very humble and kind. She answered all my questions and walked me through exactly what we were gonna do. I would come here again. (but hopefully I wont need to lol)

I have visited this particular Fast Med in Clayton with my children and for myself. Each and every time I have been there, the staff was excellent. Starting from the time I walked in until the time I have left. The young ladies at the desk, to the workers that take us to the exam room, and the Physicians do their job in a caring manner. Went in because my toddler had a accident at the playground with the swings. Everyone was very polite from receptionist to doctor. My toddler is a little bit of a handful and doesn’t like to cooperate or sit still but they were very patient with us.

My ExperienceAppointment Wednesday, October 10th 10:30amThe PA was sweet, she sat in the room and answered every question I had. That being said she said I was lucky that she didn’t have another patient for about an hour or it would be a lot quicker. She said she normally has about 3 mins per patient. Now the nurse, the nurse was AWESOME!!! She was very sweet, I have paper thin veins and I couldn’t even tell she stuck me. She had a calming voice and answered questions she was allowed to.I was suppose to have medicine called into Walgreens on Wednesday and here it is Friday @ 9am and still nothing. I was also suppose to have a referral by 5pm on Wednesday and still no call.I’m a very understanding person but this is dealing with my health. I have children so when I’m told something, I need it done. My husband & our 7 boys are my whole world. Who I fight for. Im ready to know what I’m fighting against and what I need to do because no matter what I got, I’ll win. With God & my family on my side I got this. I’m on hold at the doctors office as I’m typing this and its been 21 mins. If they need help, they need to get it. It’s important. This is a doctors office and no patient should have to hold for so long. Hopefully they will do what they said they’d do. We will see.Update: after holding for 22 mins I was told to leave a message. I did, a very detailed one so hopefully I’ll get a call back.

0 stars if possible. I would never recommend Fastmed. The lady helping me was training which is fine, and said they were having an issue with charging me for the covid test. I was only supposed to be charged 199, but they said they cancelled the transaction and swiped my card again, also fine. I look at my statement and it says I was charged twice, NOT FINE! And when I call they said I was charged 230 dollars for some reason and I need to contact their billing dept. I tried, and no one ever picks up! I WANT MY MONEY BACK

Brought my kindergartener in for a required physical based on a recommendation. Everyone at this office was amazing! The front desk staff was very friendly and answered any questions I had. I noticed the same professionalism with all patients while we were waiting. They made sure to explain the process and any changes due to Covid. Even though my “appointment” time was a general time due to the flow of necessary walk in patients we only waited about 10 minutes and they seemed fairly busy. Our nurse was great and very sweet to my son. She made it a point to be sure he was comfortable as he had to do a few tests outside of the exam room without me present. My son was seen by Kendall Rodgers, a P.A. with this location and she was nothing short of amazing! I had specific questions and she was very patient, answered without judgment and made sure I was clear with the responses. She was also great with my son and did not rush through the appointment. They provide many medical services that a general provider does beyond standard urgent care needs and seem to be very efficient. My experience was only with a few of their employees but it was a pleasant and positive one.

Went for a COVID test which should be zero cost. Location opened 2 charges on the credit card. When I called their corporate office got the US medical system run around. No straight answer at all, several that contradicted the other the run around needed with a voice mail that I am sure will go unanswered. FastMed should be looked at as a last resort, if you are unable to book a flight to Mexico, Canada etc for reasonable health care. Definitely do not call the corporate office unless you want to speak with a no answer New Yorker that is less than customer service oriented.

I am a veteran of the US Navy and was given permission to go to fast med for a quick treatment I have to say my experience was outstanding when I walked in staff had already done their part of the paperwork prior to my arrival and I was in and out of there in about 20 minutes after being seen by the doctor everybody was fantastic to deal with I will definitely go back With any other medical emergency

I was told that I had to be seen by a Fastmed otherwise I would not have chosen this place for workmans comp. Service is extremely slow. I have been sitting in the waiting room for an hour and a half. Do not have plans for atleast 2 hours if you plan on visiting this location.

The staff is great, but... The website is a bit misleading. If you are trying to schedule a COVID test because this comes up as a COVID testing center, be aware that COVID tests are worked into the typical walk-in routine. There is no appointment, despite the web sites appearance of scheduling and picking a time. My planned time was bumped back by 46 minutes, which is fine (and the notification was greatly appreciated) but I then waited an additional hour and about 15 minutes after checking in. This isnt very clear during the scheduling process online. Keep this in mind, and maybe knowing this ahead of time will help you plan your visit!

I went to FastMed Urgent Care because I had been sick for 3 weeks with a sore throat, headache, ear aches, and a slight cough. Check in was fast and easy even though I didn’t have insurance. The visit cost me $89. I was taken to a room and seen by a nurse aid and doctor. They were very clean and very knowledgeable. Asked about my health history and tested me for strep and mononucleosis, no extra charge. They let you know ahead of extra charges before doing anything. They ask you first. All in all I had a very positive experience and would/will return there for any other health issues I may have. Great staff!

I came in today and they told me the wait was going to be a hr wait. My uncle and I waited around 4 hours and we finally came back to the room and still had to wait a hour longer. While the nurse was attending my uncle she was being rude aswell.

Would not recommend. I have gone here twice for covid test and results take forever and the first time they lost my test and I had to come back to get redone.. They said it takes 4 days to get results back im almost on a week.. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

FastMed urgent care facility provided excellent customer service skills on a busy night, Friday. The staff was very welcoming and attentive to my needs, as well as others. The physician assistant gave me a well and thorough examination. She ran some tests, results were in conclusion with her assessment. Job well done, from the beginning to the end.
