Im extremely satisfied with the dental service provided by Grove Family Dentistry. My mother had a dental issue that needed to be taken care of right away. I called Grove Family on Saturday. Joyce was very helpful in scheduling my mom in on the same day. Dr. Truong was very nice and patient. He clearly explained to us what the issue was, and walked us through a few scenarios and treatment plans. We scheduled a couple of follow up appointments, and are looking forward to seeing Dr. Truong again.

Dr. Truong is great! Uses the latest/greatest equipment to care for our teeth/oral health, is sensitive to our concerns/needs and is gentle when doing procedures. Two of us in our family recently had fillings done by Dr. Truong and we both agreed that they were the least painful and gentle-fully fillings weve had thus far. Beautiful brand new offices too, with TVs playing streaming movies while your procedure is taking place. I highly suggest visiting Dr. Truongs office if you live in the Clayton area.

The service was impeccable. From the front office to the back. All the staff was so attentive. I was told exactly what would be happening step by step by the dental assistant and and the doctor. It was an enjoyable visit.

I broke a tooth and called Dr. Truongs office after hours last Friday evening and left a message on the phone. I did not expect to hear back from anyone until the next day. In less than an hour I received a call from Dr. Troung himself and he scheduled me for an appointment the next day [Saturday]. I had never met him before and was not a current patient. The office staff were very friendly and the office is wonderful place. Dr. Truong was amazing and very through and prompt. He is my new dentist for sure! He sent my X-ray to my oral surgeon of choice and I had the tooth extracted today. I am a retired registered nurse and am very fussy about health providers. I definitely recommend Dr. Truong. I already have 2 more friends who will be going to him for their dentistry.

Ive only been here once (today) but have 3 more appointments on the books. Everyone was so kind; from Joyce at reception to Priscilla to Dr. Truong. After moving back to the Bay Area a few years ago, Ive experienced going to dentists that do the absolute minimum when it comes to a check up. Yes, they may have decades of experience or interesting amenities like choosing music before a visit but all-in-all, its been very routine. From the X-Ray and the usual flossing advice without any deep explanation, to the light polish without a detailed deep cleaning. Im happy surprised to say that this all changed when I went to The Grove Family Dentistry and received expert care from Dr. Truong and Mary.From the moment I stepped into the office, I felt at ease and comfortable with the clean decor and zen ambiance. The staff is welcoming, friendly, and very professional. There are refreshments, a cozy couch, a digital bar, and even a game room for kids and adult children (like me).The X-Ray process was simple and fast with Mary taking 6 photos taken without the need for giant, intricate equipment.Dr. Truong went over my X-Rays and talked through the history my teeth. He explained his concerns thoroughly and gave detailed advice on how to proceed in getting my teeth healthier for years to come. It wasnt all bad news either, as he said some positive things about my teeth also. He even polished my teeth in a precise manner before my deep cleaning.Before the deep cleaning, Mary asked if I was okay with a little pain. I am glad she was transparent and explained that the temporary pain would help me in the long-run. I gave the okay and it turned out to be not bad at all. She went inside my gums and mentioned that these areas have not been touched by previous dentistries. My mouth looked and felt so much cleaner than Ive ever felt before.She and Dr. Truong gave some precise advice on what I should do at home to keep my teeth healthy in terms of flossing, gargling, and brushing. I will be back in a few months to get a filling and for them to check on the health of my teeth after home care. Im looking forward to my next visit to see if my change in habits pays off!

I really enjoyed Joyce at the front entrance. She was kind and helped us get all the paper work we needed done.Dr. Truong was very good with my kids. My youngest is two and it was his first visit. He was a bit nervous and wasn’t sure about the dentist. My son quickly felt comfortable when Dr. Truong started talking with him.Great place for a family.

I recently switched to this office after my dentist closed his practice. I have now experienced 2 cleanings and my wife has done one. The people working in the office are all very professional, pleasant to deal with and the equipment very modern. The dentist is also great and comes in to do an exam at each cleaning. If you like to be distracted while having your teeth cleaned, they have a TV screen on the ceiling and will tune in to your favorite Netflix program.

Dr. Truong and staff are the best! They make my whole family not dread going to the dentist. My 4 yr old actually gets disappointed when I have an appointment and he doesn’t have one too. Office is bright, beautiful and inviting. All of this makes for a positive experience for the kids 😊

They are so attentive! Joyce the office manager was super helpful and welcoming. I brought my 4 year old son and they made him feel so comfortable showed him some toys and already knew his name. When we met with the dental assistant she was sweet and my son felt comfortable with her she was extremely helpful and nice. When we met with the dentist again he called my by my name and was very patient with Jameson and thorough. I’m bringing my other son who is about to turn 3 and since this is a family dentist my husband and I are also using them too. I absolutely had a great experience! Highly recommend if you have little ones.

Called the office and they were able to see me the same day for some discomfort with my tooth. Upon arriving the office was well kept and employees were following COVID safety guidelines. They wore masks and tested for temperature prior to taking me to the exam room. Employees were courteous and Dr Truong was very professional and explained everything to me to where I can understand what was wrong and what needs to be done next. Glad we found this place. This dentist office is great! Very clean and accommodating. The staff is very friendly and was able to get me through the paperwork process very quickly. I do need quite a bit of work (fillings) and they were able to put a plan in place for me. I have insurance so that is a relief, which they were able to navigate through the insurance with no problems. The Dr. is very kind and seems very knowledgeable and professional. Overall it was a great experience and as crazy as it sounds look forward to having them repair my teeth and keep track of them moving forward.

Dr Truong has been our family dentist since we moved to Concord (two years ago). He and his team have provided very competent and reliable and cost-effective service. They make good use of the latest technology. During the one dental emergency we had (broken tooth), they went the extra mile to fix the problem very quickly. And it pleasant to work with them. They maintain a beautiful office and waiting room, but I barely get to use it because I have never had to wait more than a few minutes. It is a pleasure to recommend them.

Extremely pleasant. In and out of the dental chair within an hour or so. Even though the doctor noted that I may have some pain, I didnt have any pain. I was back to eating that evening. It was nice for the doctor to call me personally to check on me. Great chair-side manner. LOL

So impressed with this office. I checked it out for myself and have now made appointments for my 3 kids. Joyce at the front desk is very cheerful and welcoming. The hygienist was wonderful and Dr Troung was thorough and gentle. Its nice to have found a bright and happy dentist office close to home that accepts Aentna dental insurance. They have limited office hours but I can’t help think this will increase as word gets out.

I had a tooth that was bothering me and after a very thorough exam, Dr. Victor was able to explain and show me on the TV the problem in my tooth. I had the tooth fixed and the tooth has felt great ever since. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful and made the entire experience very comfortable. Dr. Victor was very gentle, I didnt even feel the numbing part.

This is the first year in our life that we live in a world without dental insurance after my previous company kicked out all 65 years old retirees from their dental group plan. We were struggled to find a good dentist who cares about those without insurance. Dr. Truong and his office are just such a wonderful place we found. Dr. Truong not only performed a thorough examine and cleaning of my wifes teeth, but also kindly discussed the current issues and possible alternative solutions. My appointment here was a great experience! Dr. Victor was very gentle. I was also able to watch tv, while he was cleaning my teeth. I didnt have to wait that long. Theres a cute coffee station inside the waiting room where I got my coffee before my appointment. My child is pretty impatient, but she didnt have any issues here since she was too busy watching tv.
