I had to have surgery and Dr. Cabell was the best surgeon for the job. She took the time to explain everything to me, pros and cons, and the recovery. Even right before the surgery she explained everything again. The recovery was the easiest I’ve ever had and she was right there answering all my crazy questions. She’s always been the best OB/GYN for me and has also treated three other women in my family. I would recommend her to anyone.

Not Recommended! Go else where for a good ob/gyn doctor! They don’t care about patients healthcare or needs! If Dr Cabell is overwhelmed, she’ll tell you to hurry up and talk, will not do what she needs to do for your appointment, and will leave out the room within two to three minutes if that. Dr. Jackson talks about her patients to the staff, in front of the patient’s face. These two dcotors have terrible bedside manner!!!! Beware!!!!

I went to a different office during my first pregnancy, and my experience there was less than great. I only saw my doctor about 4 times, and he was unprofessional in many ways. I switched to Premier for my second pregnancy and I have always felt well taken care of. I have seen my doctor (Dr. Hamre) at every single appointment, and my c-section was much easier on me than my first. I am very happy with my experience.

Dr. Cabell seemed personable, however, unprofessional. I am seeking a second opinion because I was treated like a number requirement instead of a patient.Unfortunately, the diagnosis I received requires surgery and when going over my surgical options I was encouraged to do a more invasive procedure because they need 3 or more patients to be seen in one day in order to operate at the Clarksville Surgical Center. She explained that if I didn’t go through with that procedure they would have difficulty scheduling other patients who also needed the procedure. After giving it some thought, I told her I wanted to go with the least invasive procedure because it was in the best interest for my health. She became visibly frustrated and told me that that was disappointing because she was counting on me to schedule the other two women for surgery. That made me uncomfortable, as a doctor you should give advice that is in the best interests of each individual patient!I think it is unfortunate that the requirement makes it difficult to schedule patients, however, I can’t trust that her advice to get the more invasive procedure was necessary for my health or for someone else’s.Wait time is always 45 mins to an hour each time.

I dont understand why theyre so many positive comments on here mine was totally different dr. Anderson ignored me when I talk to him got me out of the office as soon as possible he labeled me high-risk as soon as I walked into the building even though post said I was not at the time. I have a lot of bad memories and stress related to my pregnancy because of doctor Anderson not listening and not caring . He is one of those doctors that go by the book and only the book and does not use his mind and think outside the books. I wish I never read all these positive comments cuz I would have never went to him and probably had a better pregnancy than I did.

Had my first ever appointment yesterday and I left crying. They pushed me in and out, I couldn’t ask questions as a first time mother to be. They changed my morning sickness meds to something they literally said my insurance may not cover (which it did not) so I have no more medication and they told me to try this list of stuff I had already tried which landed me in the ER last week because none of it worked. And when I told them this they asked if I was a first time mother and when I said yes, they proceeded to ignore my concerns. I want a doctor who cares and takes a minute to talk to me especially as a first time mother. And someone who also doesn’t dismiss my issues simply because I’m a first time mother and I don’t know any better right? I instantly decided to transfer to another OB minutes after I left the appointment.

If this review was based off of just the receptionists, labs and imaging staff, it would be much better. Unfortunately, they weren’t my OBGYN and I had a less than poor experience. Look elsewhere if you’re looking for a doctor that cares about you, doesn’t accuse you, and advocates for you. The first red flag is that I had an on boarding appointment where I went over my medical history as a new pregnant patient where I explained the extent of my hyperemesis gravidarum and how I had been in the ER multiple times before my appointment and was still in bad shape, when I waited a few more weeks to see Dr. Jackson, she accused me of having an eating disorder even after having those notes in front of her because I was significantly smaller than my pre-pregnancy weight due to how much I was suffering and how sick I was - I hadn’t been able to keep food or fluids down for weeks and medicine wasn’t working. Absolutely mind boggled, I insisted it was because of the HG and I was just as sick that day for my appointment where it was visible enough for nursing staff to comment on how I looked. She then badgered me about how a previous diagnosis doesn’t extend to this pregnancy even though my symptoms were worse than my first because if I wasn’t hospitalized it wasn’t “severe enough.” She was not gentle with my exam knowing how sick I was that day and I walked out of the building from my blood draw with an emesis bag to my face because of it. Hoping it was just an off day for her, I went to see her again, I explained the anti-emetics I was on was heightening my anxiety and giving me all sorts of terrible side effects and I was still sick but she insisted as long as they were “working” to continue with them because I had finally gained weight back after losing 10% of my body weight. She saw me for a total of 5 minutes that appointment, not concerned at all for the experience I was having, nor sympathetic to what I was suffering through, she barely looked up from the paper she had in front of her. I had my anatomy scan the following week and it revealed that my baby is not growing as she should be (6th percentile, enough of a worry to need a referral for MFM), I found this out by an extremely unprofessional and uncaring late night message in the portal and that I should wait to be called about a referral appointment. No advocacy, no reassuring, not even bothered to make a phone call to a worried expectant mother to discuss something that is completely out of the norm. I refuse to be seen by this office again and will be making the drive to Vanderbilt to be seen by doctors that actually care enough to put effort and advocacy in to what their patients are going through. I’ve never been so disappointed in medical care in my life and would urge anyone to seek care elsewhere to have a positive pregnancy experience. Dr. Jackson would be my absolute last choice when it comes to being seen for prenatal care or women’s health.

I was fine with that and ask if they can let me translate over the phone and they said they needed somebody with medical term knowledge, so I wasnt able to. I was waiting for my friend in the waiting room in case they need me like the last time. Last time she went, they couldnt get a translator after an hour of trying, so they ended up calling me anyway. While I was waiting, a nurse came out and tell me I have to wait in the hallway with an attitude. I didnt know I couldnt wait for her in the waiting room. If I know, I would have done that. I too wish that I could give ZERO STARS! I went to the walk-in clinic on a Saturday, and I was extremely sick! The attending had to call my primary physician to ask permission on treatment. How in the heck can you advise someone over the phone without laying eyes on them? Bottom line, I argued for testing - she stepped out to call my attending yet again, and the only thing the attending agreed to was a urinalysis and then a scan. I was told to come back to the office to discuss results. Question: if I was barely crawling into the facility, and I was on the verge of dying, how in the world do you expect me to come back in for repeated office visits and not receive appropriate care? All of the calling to discuss the situation after I have made a review is meaningless. Once these doctors buy in to the physician-owned facility, they change. And if the pediatrician is not careful, I will be dismissing her soon as well. She left another local facility to work for Premier Medical Group, and her personality and care has changed tremendously. No one needs poor services when they are ill, and Clarksville residents deserve better treatment than what they are currently receiving!

OBGYN staff are so nice and caring. I’m new in town at 32 weeks pregnant, and even though hesitant due to how far along I am, Dr. Anderson agreed to take me on as a patient for the remainder of my pregnancy. Nurses, front desk staff and lab technician all made me feel welcome and taken care of. The billing department even takes the time to help understand what my covered benefits are and how the billing process works with Tricare Select. I did not get the chance to meet Dr. Anderson today due to my appointment being more administrative and intake based, but I will get the chance to meet him at my next appointment this Friday. Nevertheless, other patients that have referred me to him as well as the office staff have nothing but nice things to say about him and state he is very thorough with his care. Patient rooms are full of thank you cards and birth announcements, so this is clearly showing his experiences with delivering babies and how pleased his patients are with his care. I’m very disappointed that I took time to come here for how close it was to my job, I’m so disappointed that I didn’t drive to Nashville to my previous OB/GYN where I felt like I mattered to my doctor and to the staff. I have a series of medical/infertility issues in my past and I brought all of my medical records so that my questions and concerns could be addressed appropriately, instead I was treated like another Pap smear to be done for the day and then booted out the door for the next patient to be moved in. The questions I had were important to me and they were belittled to my age and being a “new parent under stress”. I’ve never left an office in tears and I did today. I’m so disappointed in this place and in myself for thinking it would be a good idea to go somewhere closer to home than to stick with a doctor that listened to my questions and that I know treats every patient that walks in their door as family. And as for the checkout portion of my visit. I was told to schedule a follow up in 3 months. I work 8-5 Monday- Friday so I know getting an appointment before or after those times is very hard if not impossible. But if I ask for the latest or earliest appointment I feel like that’s fair and I’m all for being pushed back if need be, but she wasn’t nice or cared at all for the times that I needed. I work in the medical field and completely understand how you get those people that just refuse every appointment because it “doesn’t work for them” I felt I was very flexible aside from asking for the first available or latest in the afternoon all I was offered were times during the day that I clearly stated I couldn’t do. And when I would ask “oh what about this day” the response was “she’s on call” and then silence. I just felt like I was a burden the whole time I was in the building. I wish I wouldn’t have wasted my time.

Don’t waste your time here. Dr. Hamre doesn’t take his time to answer any of my questions and rushes through all of my appointments. When he gave me my Pap smear he was very aggressive and made me bleed after he was done. When he only gives me ONE picture of my ultrasound and keeps 10 of them, I ask if I can have them and he rudely tells me no and that I should’ve asked for more. He refused to give me the picture of my child’s heartbeat and went to the point of printing the picture out on paper and giving me that. When I came in for my last appointment that I drove 40 minutes for, they told me that dr. Hamre wasn’t even in the office. Didn’t care to call me and let me know. When I tried to reschedule they were very rude about it and told me “I don’t know what to tell you. You can wait until he comes back”. If I could I would give this place a zero. Don’t come here.

If you are looking for a practice that cares about their patients, please look elsewhere. Everything about this office is appalling. When I called to make my first OB appointment, they asked me which doctor I wanted to see and not knowing any, they put me with the first available. I saw him a couple times, but I wasn’t very comfortable with this doctor and I never felt as though he gave us the appropriate amount of time or attention. So I simply called the office and asked if I could be seen by a different doctor within the practice. The office manager returns my call and says that you have to see the doctor your are assigned, that although the other doctors are accepting new patients, they don’t accept transfers. So I took that for what it was and very politely thanked her for returning my call and explained that I would have to stay because this is the only OB in the area my insurance covers.Three hours later she calls me back and says she spoke to the doctor and he feels I tarnished the doctor patient trust and I am no longer welcome to be seen at the office by any physician. To tell a patient who is uncomfortable with her doctor that SHE violated the trust of her doctor is simply asinine. Trust your care elsewhere, you’ll be much better served.

Anyway, my best friend (who is also a doula) was able to make it here from out of state to be with me and my husband during labor and delivery. She suggested I make a birth plan/preferences just to avoid being offered things I didn’t want and to help my birth to go as I’d like as much as possible. Again, These were preferences as we all know that things don’t always go as planned. My doctor wasn’t there for the delivery... so I had dr. Sawyer. The check out clerk, and customer service have been less than satisfactory. The clerk never bills me for appointments. Whenever I called in asking if I had anything due, they said I didnt. I checked the patient portal and it displayed the same. Then I come in one day and they call me to the office to tell me Im $400 past due because I didnt make any payments when I inquired about it several times and they said I had nothing due. Which I had no problem paying for but would have appreciated if they had billed me per appointment as agreed to begin with. When I leave the office, this is the second time the woman at the desk didnt set up an appointment for me to return. Being my first pregnancy, I didnt know if they would call or email me to set one up. When I called today to set up an appointment or see whats going on, the woman I spoke to was very rude. Putting blame on me for being 8 months pregnant, and not setting up an appointment that the desk should have done. Talking over me, and was not apologetic whatsoever. When I asked just to set up an appointment she put me on a long hold of silence, came back laughing, and gave me an appointment date. If I have any other pregnancies, I will not come to this office.

What is the point of having an appointment and the office requiring you to show up FIFTEEN minutes early? I have been waiting for over half an hour for my scheduled time, that is not including the extra 15 minutes early they want you to be here for. Horrible wait time.

Before I came to premier Medical Group I was hesitant because of the reviews but I also know people post bad reviews when they are mad. I am so glad I chose premier medical! The staff is incredible, from the front desk to the doctors! Not to mention the on call nurse that sees you in a moments notice if you believe something is wrong!

Horrible customer service. I was transferred to 4 different people, all of whom were discourteous before passing me off to the next person. The front desk person I spoke with, Rhonda, rudely insisted I had never been seen there before, despite just being on the phone with three other people who confirmed my being a patient. Her tone was extremely condescending from the start. I would have hoped for more courteous and empathetic staff at an OB/GYN. I remember the Dr. being kind, but due to horrendously rude staff, Ill take my money elsewhere. Also, a three month wait for a basic appointment is a joke.

DO NOT GO HERE! My life was severely at risk because of the lack of medical knowledge and lack of care these doctors have for their patients. Dr. Pruthi (who I guess is not there anymore) COMPLETELY disregarded my conplaint about my heart racing. Saying it was normal in the 2nd trimester. Long story short i went to the ER and turns out my heart function was only at 25% and was hospitalized almost the remainder of my pregnancy and had to have my baby 3 weeks early so that I could have a heart procedure. When I had gone to the ER they had called Dr. Pruthi to update her and she had said that I NEVER mentioned anything to her about having heart discomfort and had dropped me as a patient. These doctors including the medical director LANCE SHERLEY do not care about the safety of the patients that come to this practice. I would absolutely not recommend this place to anyone.

Dr. Hessock is an absolutely amazing doctor. She is incredibly intelligent, kind and compassionate. She takes the time to ask questions and let you ask questions - she doesn’t rush conversations, which seems to have become the new normal for doctors. She explains things clearly. The check in staff here is a mixed bag: some are warm and inviting others seem like they have no interest in their job. Granted you’re dealing with some very emotional people here, they could use a little more warmth at the front desk (3.5 stars for the front desk). The new office is very nice. I especially love the pre-check in system that I can complete the day before from my phone. So no paperwork when I arrive. Just check in pay my copay and a short wait until I’m in the office for my apt. I highly recommend this place and Dr. Hessock for all your obgyn needs.

This doctors office is a joke. Please do not waste your time coming here. From the very beginning I requested to transfer doctors and the nurse suggested that I give my doctor a chance. I agreed. When I took someone with me she (Dr. Pruthi) was very kind. When I was by myself she was cold hearted and insultingly sarcastic. She asked me to walk for 30 minutes a day then asked if I had any to walk with me. I told her no I have a fiancee who works a lot and was recently in a accident at work and needed to rest when not at work. I explained that my parents are disabled and cant either. And right afterwards she told me to go home and tell my fiancee and my parents that I cant deliver vaginally and am forced to have a c section due to the baby being 8 1/2 pounds at 36 weeks. I felt like her comment was rude and degrading. I made a request to change my doctor and was refused. My fiancee called made ethical complaint on the doctor and he was told that the other doctors would look over my case and would be assigned another doctor. I got a call this morning to find they dropped me completely at 37 weeks and starting to dialate.. after 37 weeks of a healthy pregnancy they are now saying Im a high risk and need to see a doctor at Vanderbilt? Or they want to blame the patient instead of taking care of the patient. Please dont go here, there is no dignity or respect here.

Super Dissapointed when I called to make an appointment at 38 weeks pregnant I was told they wouldn’t even see me....( due to some insurance issues and getting on a new insurance)...I wasn’t asking for the full prenatal visits just an exam to make sure everything was ok since I was told by my insurance office that They were one of the offices in town who would take my new insurance. The lady over the phone replied “yeah no-one is going to see you this far along good luck with that. Why are you just Now trying to find a doctor?”.....completely lacking customer service and not even knowing the story on my situation and not giving me a chance to explain that I have had an OB, they just don’t take the insurance. She was just very rude and super unprofessional...ZERO STARS!

I went to see Dr Pruthi for symptoms that were very uncommon for a young woman who has never been pregnant. With a close family history of endometriosis along with ovarian, cervical, and breast cancer.. I feel that my symptoms should have been alarming. I am always overwhelmed and nervous at any doctor visit let alone a gyno. After two visits, she insisted this was a GI problem, not hers, and that I should consider yoga because I seem like a high strung person.... Thankfully I found a new dr in Nashville who took my symptoms much more seriously.

These reviews are spot on. The front desk staff are extremely rude. I experienced it today. You would think as a Obgyn clinic the ladies at the front would be warm and welcoming well they are far from that. I’ve never had any issues with insurance until yesterday when I showed them my new insurance with my husband (tricare) now before I was married I had a different insurance. Not sure what they have against military wives. After calling me up multiple times she finally told me she couldn’t pull up my benefits then a few mins later said she found me but it was showing I had tricare prime (which I don’t have) I have select and I know that for a fact. She argued with me and another lady came over and said yes it’s showing prime on the website. So after that I told them I would go outside and call tricare to verify so I did and just like I thought they confirmed I’m on select! I went back in and told the receptionist that I was on the phone with them now and they are confirming I do have select. I went on to ask the rude receptionist if she would like to speak to the tricare lady to confirm what I was telling her about my coverage and she replied “no, I can’t” ?? What do you mean you can’t?? The lady from tricare then told me to tell her to look it up by my benefits number on the back of my card instead of my husband’s social because sometimes it will show something different. I told the receptionist that and she then replied once again “I can’t do that” why?? She was totally against any help we were trying to give her. She they told me to go to this other lady and she would help me. I sat down to wait for the other lady and by that time my blood pressure was up and my name was being called to go back. Now for reference this went on for over 30 mins. I arrived to my appointment early so I would have plenty of time in between in case something crazy did happen. They should not be getting patients all worked up and upset before a doctor’s appointment like that. I seriously am still debating whether or not to go somewhere else only because of the reception staff!

Several months ago, I left the Premier OB-GYN office after a difference of opinion with Dr. Pruthi. She seemed to be a fully competent physician, but we had different priorities in our two clinical visits. Shortly after leaving the practice and finding a midwife in Nashville, I received a letter telling me that I was no longer welcome at the entire practice. No longer was I allowed to see my primary care physician, Dr. Vanderveen, who I had developed a great raport with over 4-5 years. I was also not allowed to be seen at the urgent care, which I had visited many times over the years. I am very disheartened that this is how the practice decided to treat a patient of many years.Reply to the owner: I tried to contact your administration office many times, and no one returned my calls. I asked for an appeal of my care, and I was denied via letter. I would very much appreciate a face-to-face meeting with your administration office if anyone is willing to hear my grievance.

Okay so I made a really nice post about this place yesterday just to get screwed over later. I’ve been going there for 3 months now and my insurance has been covering everything and JUST NOW I’m not covered for OBGYN or anything related to the baby???? I’m JUST NOW finding that out after going there for 3 months from the lady in billing. THEN I had a panorama test being taken for gender. I went in on the 18th of June for it and they took 5 tubes of blood from me and we set up our gender reveal for July 15th because the results should have been back this week and I’ve been conversating with my nurse about the test results and she just kept telling me to check back they weren’t in yet and NOW ALL OF THE SUDDEN a lady that wasn’t even my nurse called me and said I’m so sorry but they never took that test from you on the 18th. WHAT THE HELL???? So as I’m waiting for the results, talked to MY nurse as she’s waiting on results, and took off work to come in and get the damn blood drawn it now just randomly never got taken??????? Now I have to cancel my gender reveal, have people that were coming out of town for it cancel their trips, and return everything I’ve boughten for it. Absolutely ridiculous!!! This pregnant momma is not happy AT ALL.

My obgyn here delivered my son. I was young so even though he was rude I didnt understand that I could just leave and find someone else. He scoffed at any birthing plan I had. He was condescending. He scheduled me to be induced and was impatient while I pushed. He suggested a c section. Fast forward to me being pregnant with my daughter. He was still listed as my obgyn so my insurance sent me to him. Still rude and condescending PLUS he absolutely refu see to try a vaginal birth after cesarean. I left but to make matters worse the front desk was asking why when I needed my medical records and later they sent me a letter saying that since I switched practice I was not allowed back.LOL GOOD

They were very rude. I just found out I was expecting and they scheduled me for an appointment on the 15 of sept. Ive been cramping which I heard is normal but I just wanted to be cautious so I ask to reschedule. The receptionist immediately said we dont have an early appointment and that shell have the nurse call. The nurse called and said to me if youre cramping youre probably having a miscarriage and there is nothing we can do about that. She didnt ask if I was spotting or anything she immediately told me Im miscarrying.
