I am literally clueless about makeup. I went in on a Friday evening and Emma helped me find exactly what I needed. She has an incredible knowledge of the products and was able to offer me a few options for each thing I needed, with no pressure to purchase anything I didnt need or want. Highly recommend seeking her out at this store if you need help! Two thumbs up for this very sweet and professional lady.

I went in on 8/3 for an eyebrow wax and tint at the Benefit Brow Bar. I’ve only used this particular Ulta location a few times. My nearest Ulta currently doesn’t have the position filled for the Benefit Brow Bar. So I went to Rookwood. They got me in right away. The girl, Andrea who helped make my appointment was super sweet and helpful. And I met her once in person at the store too and she was even sweeter and nicer in person. Emma did my eyebrows and she was also such a sweetheart. There was another lady working at checkout but unfortunately I didn’t catch her name. She was also very nice. I have been shopping in Ulta literally at least 20 years. And I have visited locations all of the country and the greater Cincinnati and Northern KY area. I must say the staff at this particular location was just amazing. The store was also well organized and clean. I can’t say enough great things about this particular Ulta location. I’ve been having some really hard times in my personal life recently. And just the kindness of good customer service at this Ulta brightened up my day. Thank you!!!!

The girls greeting, behind the counter, and the woman working in prestige were all absolutely amazing. i sincerely hope these people are only getting the utmost respect from all of their customers because they heightened my experience beyond what is expected from customer service, and were just so nice and personable I wanted to hang out with them all day. thank you to these lovely ladies for making a routine shopping experience so nice. 🖤

Always feel uncomfortable at this location. Workers pretty much stalk you makes you not even want to shop and one lady got on me for smelling dry shampoo....left right after that.

I always love going to this Ulta because the people are sooo nice and helpful! The place is also clean and organized, which is a bonus 👍 And they pretty much always have what Im looking for, but when they dont Im usually able to find it on their website 😁

I love this store. Typically I am in here once a week at least.I probably spend thousands within the year here.Actually, I know I do, because I am a diamond member with rewards program. Lol. Most of the employees are super helpful and if I need help finding something they never hesitate to do their best to find it.The only reason I am giving them three stars is because today I had the worst experience I have ever had with the store. When I went up front to ask the girl there for help, she acted like I was a total inconvenience for interrupting her conversation with the male cashier. My bad, I didnt realize she was being paid for social time. But no big deal, a manager came by 10 minutes later and found the pallette for me.Later, I asked the cashier named Alejandro for help finding a colour pop palette. He just pointed me in the direction of the isle and went on talking. Only problem is he had just watched me scour the same isle and it wasnt there. The app online said it was in stock, but it was no where on the shelf. Then when I went to cash out he asked if I found everything. That must be just a greeting because when I said I hadnt found the pallette, he just went on ringing up my items. While still carrying on with the female worker. When I told him my number to get my rewards points, he acted like he put it in. But after I left I noticed that I had a guest receipt. So I got to spend half an hour on the phone with customer service to get my points added to my account.Like I said, usually my time spent at this store is a pleasure. But if Alejandro is an example of how customers are going to be treated, Ill start spending my money in Kenwood.

As soon as I walked through the doors I was greeted someone asked me if they could help but I was headed to the bathroom when I came out another worker asked me if I needed help her name is Jamie she was very helpful and friendly I would go back there any day of the week love this place hands down

The staff is always friendly and willing to help. Not overly pushy like some cosmetics places. This store is very large and Ive always found what I needed. Even when I had a pick up order that got messed up, they corrected it. Remember, our check out teams are only human ;) Thank you for the help ladies!

Disappointed that I had to seek help with finding a particular product.This is not the Ulta guest experience I am familiar with. Ultimately, I was annoyed that upon entry I wasn’t greeted nor attended to like the man who walked in with his young daughter only a few feet behind me. Nonetheless, I put in my headphones and went to search for the product myself. After my own failed attempt I found two associates who had been conversing when I walked in and one of them proceeded to point me in the direction of another product line I was looking for. Once again, I knew exactly what product I was looking for but she didn’t bother to find out. I stood there at the milani endcap as she walked away. After a quick glance, I simply left. I’m not sure about the store’s practice and I typically shop at the Kenwood location but I will continue to do so. I hope this store’s customer service improves and they learn to be attentive to ALL patrons.

Forced me to give out full name, zip, birth date, email, and phone number just to buy something. They should not be allowed to force you to give out personal info to purchase no returns.

Overpriced. The shop had a too busy product placement for a good shopping experience. I was there during covid-19, so Im not going to go as low as I usually would under those circumstances. Im also convinced that this stores associates are told to sell you the most expensive stuff they have. Case in point: Bad Gal Bang mascara. That stuff is terrible and way too clumpy, yet all the people there are sold on it. For me, it was a terrible product. Three people suggested it for thin, hard to find lashes. No way! That stuff was way too thick and clumpy to find the large lashes, much less the tiny ones. Anyway, I will try again post covid-19. Heres an image of this mascara that I was told would be perfect for tiny lashes.

Excellent customer service! Had a terrible experience at the Kenwood location with my daughters last weekend, so we tried the Rookwood location instead this weekend. Nicer store, wonderful pleasant employees. Even though this location is a lot farther from me, from now on when I need something from Ulta I will be going here. Also, large selection of hair care, well stocked. Will definitely shop here again, maybe next weekend ha!

Wow. What unprofessional staff. Never been so disappointed in a store. Walked in on 6/9 to pick up foundation that I will now just be driving up to Nordstrom in Kenwood to get. Walked in and staff , including the manager were at the front of the store trash talking incredibly negative about a negative experience they had with a Deaf customer. We all have bad days but save the trash talk for off the floor. Also staff didn’t ask if I needed help to find any product. If you have morals or are a good person shop at a different store.

This location has MAC, which is nice. I was able to find everything I need and cut down the extra trip I thought I needed. Lost stars because of how pushy the associate was about the Ulta credit card. I shouldnt have to say no thanks THREE TIMES. I know its not her fault and its the company requiring that, but it honestly makes me not want to shop here anymore. Ill shop online and take shipping fees over cashiers pushing me to open a credit card and not taking no for an answer.

Best place if you looking for serious cologne or perfumes and other makeup stuffs.liked the environment. High level brands on all . You just feel happy to come in with all the sweet smells and services. Also a plus a hair salon. Try all the samples for free.

I love the wide selection of skin care, makeup and hair care . The staff are always amazing and super helpful . I am always happy leaving the store knowing I am gunna love the products that I purchased.

When checking out the staff asked for my phone number 3 times I said no thank you 3 times. They said the only way Id be able to return my product is with my phone number, and would not accept a receipt if I needed to return it. I have never in my 31 years on this earth heard you werent allowed to use a receipt to return an item. Also, as I was leaving, I could hear her talking about my mother and I to her coworkers.

I know nothing about make up but the wonderful ladies there helped me find the perfect makeup pallet for my girlfriend

Moved to Cincinnati 6 weeks ago and was looking for a place that could recreate my purple hair color. the stylist Caitlyn do a fantastic job.

I enjoy coming here for my cosmetic needs the ladies that work here are friendly as well.

Great salon experience. My son and I both go here. They do offer full salon services for both women and men.

Called in to see if they had Mavala No-bite nail polish in stock before driving over there and the manager refused to look up the item. She stated that the name wasnt familiar and therefore it was likely they didnt have it. I asked her if she could look up the item and she refused stating she knew every item in the store. I asked her again if she could look it up as it was not possible she knew every product on hand. She once again refused. I asked for a supervisor and she said she was the supervisor. I think its sad that this blatant refusal to do your job in assisting a customer locate a product occurs at this location, especially in management. Ive never had such a hard time with an Ulta employee. I went in store today and the item is listed on the shelf but it was sold out and expected to restock soon. Very disappointed. I dont think Ill be returning to this location again.

Very helpful staff! I usually dont ask for help, but two employees (on separate occasions) helped me find the exact type of products I was looking for. They listened to what I needed and didnt attempt to up-sell me.

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!I called the store to verify if they had a specific shade and when I got there to pay it was open and the seal was broken. I told the cashier that it was open and she said oh its fine it just dropped on the floor when i asked if there were any more she said no but reassured me that it was fine. I asked for a discount on the item and she told me no, then i asked for the manager and explained what happened. The manager immediately told me that it was used because the seal was broken and she didnt feel right selling it to me and the original cashier said oh it must have got broken when I stepped on it at that point i was upset of the fact that she lied to me and assured me it was not damaged it just fell on the floor them she said she stepped on it but was not willing to give me a discount for the inconvenience and willing to sell it to me only at full price. The manager told her to give me a card to order the lipstick online with free shipping. Be careful and check the seals BEFORE BUYING at this location!!

Clean and lovely. Sales people are a bit pushy but thats ok with me. If youre new to makeup and skincare thats a bonus. If youre an enthusiast it might be unnecessary since they push high end products exclusively.

I love love love this Store, as you enter you are greeted and nearly all of the employees ask if you need any assistance. They have brand reps who can color match you and help you find anything from makeup to skin care and nail products. I love their point system as well. Every dollar you spend gets you points that then add up into free money on my account. They have drugstore products and higher end makeup. I also love their perfume and skin care sections. Ulta even has a hair salon in it . Love love lol love! Joy to the girl!

I am an avid Sephora customer and will continue to be. Here is why:Staff doesn’t invite an atmosphere that is pleasant to shop in. Was constantly being followed and watched but not a single staff member asked if I needed assistance. Products are meh. Staff is not informed or educated in latest product releases. Ulta is basically an overpriced drug store. Service is sub par. When I spend top dollar on beauty products it will be spent at Sephora where service and products are in line with the price point.If you are ever forced to go an Ulta in the Cincinnati area the Newport Pavilion location is recommended. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable about products.

I love Ultra because it has all of your beauty needs and much more, but at this location, the employees WERE NOT helpful AT ALL!!!! One of the employees walked behind me, as she looked at me trying to find a product, and all she said was Im behind you, not may I help you or anything! My husband had to help me look for a product after I had asked that same person about the lipstick that I was looking for, all she did was pointed and said that it was over there. in which it was not over there!! The store wasnt crowded at all! My 4 year old Niece could do a much better job at helping customers find what they are looking for!!! I give ULTA 5 stars, but the employees in that location 2 thumbs all the way down!!! The employees need to get their customer service handbook out and READ IT!!!

This place is usually out of stock of the James Charles and Jeffree Star Morphe collections, but you can usually find all their great skincare items. Juvias place blushes lipsticks and highlights, tarte shape tape foundation, and colourpop concealer are sparse here as well.

The cosmetic and hairdressers are extremely helpful!

I am a huge fan of the ULTA beauty stores and i visited the location in hyde park at Rook wood commons or pavilion ...and was very disappointed ...not only was i not greeted as i came into the store but the the associates were not very helpful or knowledgeable about there products at all. there were empty shelves and empty boxes of products on the shelves.And some of the merchandise was a mess.The product line is the same and when i asked another associate to call another store...she said no problem and then then left and said to another associate that she had to use the bathroom.I then saw another associate peeking over the shelves and then just turn her gaze away from me.Its wasnt very busy and most of the staff looked just bored to death. Ill go back to the store because its very near to me..but i probaly will make the trip to Kenwood on other occasions

Please note the review is of a specific person and a specific incident that occurred at the store. An ambulance and I went in to Ulta specifically because I had a Clinique product for my eyes and I needed to purchase due to a medical reason. When I finally got someone from the clinic accountant do, she brought a cup of coffee and a muffin and continue to eat them up and in front of me the entire time but I told her specifically the clinic chronic that I need it she looked at me as if I have lost my mind and said that that part does not exist give me a ring, so uninformed, she lost a sale, and shes terrible customer service and I wish that I knew her name.
