The only reason they get a star is because if you wait long enough , you will finally get your meds . Horrible service 1-2 hour waiting lines. No clear direction on refills and first time scrips. It’s a total cluster #?^! Over there and upper management does not care.

After waiting 2 hours I was grilled by the pharmacists and tech about my medication when I handed them my prescription. I’ve gotten comments before here when getting a refill (“you’re too young to be taking this!” or “you look so healthy!”) but never to the extent where the pharmacist wanted to speak with me about it and interrogate me. I was asked about what symptoms it was used for and why the prescription was dosed the way it was.Just because someone looks “young” or “healthy” does not mean they do not need their medication. A pharmacist will never know the extent of my medical history and symptoms like the doctor that prescribed the meds in the first place does. Invisible disabilities are real and those who suffer from them already go through enough without medical providers questioning them. Especially the medical providers that fill the prescriptions I need to function. With all due respect, my doctor knows what he’s prescribing me. I should not have to prove myself in order to get my medication filled that was already prescribed by my doctor. Absolutely unacceptable.

Worst run pharmacy in the Navy due facilities under constant repair , poor staffing with zero leadership. The staff is friendly but the wait times are horrible. Elderly retirees forced to line up and wait out in the sun for up to a hour. There is absolutely zero concern about customer service! There needs to be change but the Navy doesn’t care because I’ve told the Officer in Charge at Navy Balboa Hospital 8 months ago. It’s gotten worst.

Wait times are horrendous for new prescriptions. I don’t understand why we have to show up one day to submit the subscription and come back the next day to pick it up. Insane. Additionally everyone jere has a health issue and there aren’t even enough chairs for everyone to sit down.

Great customer service at this pharmacy. Sure, they can get busy, but they keep chuggin along. On their busiest day, theyre still light years ahead of the main hospital pharmacy!

This pharmacy is always swamped, but they try their best with the amount of people working there. No copay for beneficiaries, when I am in a hurry I have the doctor write a paper prescription and go to CVS, but it doesn’t always guarantee less wait. I go when they open so there is absolutely little wait time.

Military pharmacies are a tough business but Ive had great customer service at Eastlake pharmacy during all my visits. It can get very crowded, which is not surprising, but the staff has always been courteous and helpful, even going out of their way when theyre slammed with customers.
