By far the worst massage Ive ever received. They charge $1 per minute and I got 75 minutes. I was ready to leave in the first 10 minutes. Dont waste your hard earning money here. Go somewhere else! The worst place!

Not the best experience in this place! It’s not worth the price. The guy was very rude and honestly he didn’t do a good service to me! Plus the DEMAND TIPS, I know it’s a gratitude but even before i was able to take the money out of your purse he asked me for the Tip kinda in a rude way, NEVER GOING BACK TO THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN! TRUST ME ITS NOT WOTH IT!

IT was a nightmare. Me and my friend came here and we got the same massage so they put US in the same room. A girl and a guy came in and they started the massage but the were talking and talking and laughting nonstop. I went there to relax and we couldnt. They ask for tips (thats ok) but it wasnt worth it at all! Worst exp. Ever! No coming back ever!!!

They do not honor gift certificates and demand tips. They argue with you while leaving and the massage is voided by the stress at the front desk.. Do not go there. Its all about money and zero customers service. The expectation is deliver on high tips even when not deserving.

This review is based on the past couple of times I’ve been there. My last review was a 5 star, stating how they did a thorough and relaxing job, not pressuring me in any way and me paying cash at the end. The time before last that I went, they had a card reader which was interesting as I had always known them to take cash only, so the last time we went (about a month or two after the previous, they had a new lady in front who stated it was cash only and that we had to pay before the massage. We said we would be back to get cash out since we thought they took card still and she got upset. We came back 5 minutes later and she demanded the cash, then taking us to the empty room. I got her massaging me while my friend got someone else. With me, I kept having pauses and the masseuses kept switching out for they had been on hold with someone since we first got there and were having difficulties relaying information to the person on the other line . Not only was the phone call loud and on speaker, but because of this, one of my arms didnt get massaged. We had given an extra $10 for some sugar scrub and a tip after which she was a bit upset based off the amount of $10, ($5 each). She then unlocked the door for us, as they locked it to make sure no one else came in during the massage, and we felt a tad awkward about the whole experience compared to previous ones.

I loved the one on Eastlake. Yuyu was great! I will go back when everything opens. I always tip at least $20 so that wasn’t a problem.

Me and my friend took the day off from our jobs to get a massage. First, they charged the massage at the beginning, which we both found weird but paid up front. After the massage, we were both saying to one another how we needed cash to tip the ladies & before we could figure out where to get cash, they both were there saying “tip”. So, feeling pressured we were like okay, we have to go to the bank. I kid you not folks, we were walking to the bank (after we said how uncomfortable she made us feel) that we weren’t going to tip...AND SHE FOLLOWED US. Each time we turned around, she was creeping closer and closer. This type of behavior and pressure is unprofessional and no one should feel pressured to give money when it’s not mandatory.

I tried this place for the first time. I absolutely loved it. Ive never had a massage like that before. I asked for it deep. I doubted such a small woman would be able to get the job done but omg did she ever. I just wish I caught her name so I could ask for her again. I came in today . She was wearing a light blue shirt I think. She did such a great job. I will definitely be coming back to this place again.

Me and my boyfriend went in for a couple massage. Worth it for the price. Will be coming back soon. It would have been nice if we were able to tip the 2 ladies in person but they were rushed to the next customer’s. So We had to leave the tip to the lady in the front desk. Hope they get it

Very wonderful foot massage that we upgraded to a sea salt one! They massaged the whole body clothed and focused on the feet and calf’s. Best place I’ve gone to so far and very nice. I can’t wait to go again!

I rarely write a bad review, but this place was very unprofessional. The massage therapist gave me a very poor massage and demanded a $10 dollar tip. Had a very unpleasant experience.

Really Good for the Price 👍 Thinking about going back, if that tells you anything. Price wise they beat the hell out of Happy Head, just not as polished an operation. Communication a little difficult but not insurmountable.

My massage therapist first of all didn’t start by asking me how much pressure I wanted or even a hello. She started right away with not even the slightest of pressure. I figured she was just getting started but no that’s how it was the entire massage. She would do one thing to one side of my body and then skip the other side entirely. She then continued to talk to her partner since it was a couples massage and even stopped the massage in order to talk. Would not have been one star as I’ve had great massages here before and my friend had an amazing massage that day. But the front staff topped it off when they charged me. She asked if I wanted to leave a tip, which I honestly debated not leaving but to be nice I said yes $6. It was a $40 massage so this was still about 15%. The lady then tells me the recommended tip is $10 because they work very hard. I couldn’t believe it I told her no it was a horrible massage. My massage therapist was standing there and in their language they said something and she storms off pissed off. No apology or even an attempt to ask why it was horrible or how to fix it just a simple ok with attitude never going back again

They really pressure you into tip . They say you HAVE to which I didnt mind doing whats so ever ! But then she tried keeping my 10$ change and she said I had to give a 15% which is $6 not $10 ... $10 is a 25% tip out of $40 . And also then I had 2 other workers who went up to me also saying to tip that I had to tip so at this point I was upset and did not give in cause apparently they like to bully clients into tipping . Then I told them next time for people who dont know to mention that their is an extra fee before getting a service. Then all of a sudden she said I didnt have to give tip anymore so at this point I was very confused and I said okay so if I dont have to give a tip now can I please have my change back so she started handing me my money back and then she tried keeping some of the $10 and then said I actually do have to tip .. so I asked okay ! So do I have to tip or not?! Then she just gave up shoved the money to me and made a hand gesture to get out .. so my advice make it clear next time that their is a fee .. and dont peer pressure afterwards to give you more money.. and communication was terrible it was super difficult to understand them

Went here last week when I was in San Diego for vacation. The massage I got was amazing. Eva did a great job getting my knots out and my neck felt so good after. Went for the hour long full body massage but I ended up doing the 90 minute one because she was great. I gave her a good tip and she deserved it. Than you Eva!

It was my first time to Massage Eden about a month ago. Usually when I go to a massage place and ask for deep tissue they usually do not do a good job. However, this time when I asked for deep tissue....I got deep tissue!!! It was awesome!!! The lady I had did a very good job. I wish I knew her name because she had very good technique. I enjoyed the stretching as well. I definitely felt the toxins released from my body afterwards. I will definitely be going back here.

This is the best place for a massage. They always seem to know where your hurting without you even telling them. The atmosphere is nice and they are very accomodating. There is hardly a wait for walk-ins but you can also call ahead. You cant beat the price. When going ask for Amber or Kandy. The receptionest Joan was extremely nice. It was raining out and she offered to walk me to my car while holding an umbrella. If i could give more than 5 stars I would. As for the people who say they were demanded a tip, i have never had that problem.James

Took My Boyfriend to Massage Eden on telegraph canyon road , Chula vista so that he can have his first massage , He absolutely loved every minute of it , I loved it too, the employees are very friendly ,give the best massages , they go above and beyond to make sure you have a relaxing, enjoyable time . I would definitely be going back to them, I most definitely will recommend them to anyone and everyone. Hands down the best massage place ever for me

I’ve been here quite a few times. I love the foot massage. My last visit I had a male and I would prefer they warn you before massaging your butt. I didn’t feel comfortable with that, especially for a foot massage. When checking out the front desk girl was on her phone the whole time.Do you wash all the towels frequently? Also do you make sure the therapist wash their hands before? My therapists hands smelt like cigarette.Also another time the woman used gloves and it made it very uncomfortable on my skin. Is this typical protocol as the guy did not use gloves. Not sure about it all. I will be back to give this place another change but I will be asking for a woman. Massage eden, please inform the men that they must always ASK before massaging a women’s butt. It’s not ok to just do it and should never be the protocol without asking.Thank you

I had limited motion in my shoulder and the girl beat me up but when I left I felt amazing. Range of motion has improved significantly. Cant beat the price either.

To make sure this is clear, this 5 star is for the location off of telegraph canyon rd, there are 2 locations, do not go to the one in Eastlake! Because of that place I almost didn’t go to my new favorite massage location. I was originally recommended to go to this location, since I suck at directions, I took my mother-in-law to the worst massage parlor I’ve ever been to.Thankfully I went to their location off the 805 on Telegraph Canyon. Normally, I tell the massage therapist to go harder, this place is Not shy to put some muscle into it. They are friendly, and we’re able to read my bodily ques if they went too hard. They do still ask for a tip, but for these ladies I do not mind one bit. I end up tipping $20 because for the original price and the work they put into making me feel awesome.Every person I have brought here, LOVES them and says they will be coming back. I have seen mixed reviews for this place. Just wanted to make sure it’s made aware that there are 2 locations in Chula Vista. The place I will never go to again, and the place thT has turned into my haven and place of peace lol. If you had a bad experience, try out the right location next time.

I asked for a deep tissue massage but the technique she used was bad. I was so disappointed that cut my massage time short. On top of that, they tried to pressure me to tip her.

One and done. The massage was ok but one they never ask for an area to focus on and two de lady kept going in and out of the room so it was really not a 90 minute massage. On the good side the lady walking on my back was good made my back feel better. Forcing you to tip that was a let down. Doubt Ill come back again though.

Went to the new eastlake location with a coupon that said $89.99 for 1 hour couples massage. We upgraded to 90 minutes and she said $70. I was confused. Little did I know she meant 70 each. Then they asked us to tip $20 each. Pricing and communication issue aside, the table was cold when you first lay down and her hands were icy. The oil she slathered on me was also cold and I had chill bumps the whole massage because of how cold I felt. She also could not understand when I asked her to adjust pressure. Never going back.

It was a terrible time. The man at the counter was watching Netflix and when me and my boyfriend walked in he said come walked us to a room without really saying anything. I asked do we disrobe he said lay down.. it was confusing we kinda laughed it off got undressed. I told the lady we wanted the full body 60 minute massage. She said body and feet for 90 minutes. I said no thank you just the 60 minutes. She kept insisting on the 90 my boyfriend laughed because I started getting annoyed. They started the massage. She kept telling me to add 15 minutes or add 30 for the foot massage. I kept telling her no so that really detracted from what was supposed to be a relaxing experience. I asked her to not apply so much pressure and she didnt seem to hear me is get up a little and ask her to go softer because it hurt and she told me medium hard pressure I told her no soft. I started getting annoyed and it was more frustrating. She focused on my lower back I asked her to focus on my shoulders she said right shoulder , I said both. She likes my right shoulder and repeated right shoulder I said left and right. She said left or right, and continued to like my shoulder a little harder. I gave in and said right she told me she wanted to add 15 minutes I said no its only been 3p I dont mind using some of my time for more shoulder. She said no. I said nevermind then. It was finally over my boyfriend said it was nice his back felt better, but they were too rough. I used the restroom and we walked up to pay they stood next to the man with their hands out. He said itll be $80 for the massage, I asked if he could break a $20 for the tip and he told me the minimum tip is $10 per masseuse. I said it was a negative experience I didnt want to tip that much maybe even at all. He said no I have to pay the minimum tip. They held their hand out and said tip now. I was already so mad I said sure. I will never return to this location it was a horrinle time i left in a worse mood than when i went in. The masseuse I has was named cici I didnt check the name of my boyfriends but he said it was maybe a C.

If you are a female, ask for a female therapist.First timers:Make sure the therapist know the amount of pressure you need; usually they are used to give the client a deep tissue massage and it may get painful if you dont tell them to go easy on the pressure.Dont be shy, these are oriental type massages, meaning that they are therapeutical and not just rubbing oil, Swedish kind. If you are on for a soft, hands rubbing on your skin, go to another place that is not oriental.It is clean, but do not expect it to be like a Spa, pampering type.I am a massage therapist myself, and prefer going to this establishment for a good, deep tissue therapy, that can be a great experience if you:1. Know the difference between a Swedish massage and a therapeutical massage2. Make sure you let the therapist know if you are feeling uncomfortable or painy with the amount of pressure shes applying on.3. Never be shy on letting them know if you are feeling uncomfortable. They are very kind, but you need to be very specific, since their english language is poor.Im sure you will have a nice experience if you take these tips into consideration before you start getting the massage therapy.
