Unfortunately this review is not for the dentist or the medical staff as they are great! This is in regards to the front office and administrative staff. I was to have a referral sent for approval for Invisalign (which included multiple photos and impressions that were done) at the end of July and still have not heard anything back from the office. Working in the medical field myself I know it can sometimes take 2 to 4 weeks for approval, not almost 2 months. I decided to call my insurance direct to see when the referral was sent and what the hold up was and I was told nothing has been submitted! I was shocked! I have spent a lot of time and money getting work done at this office and mu whole family are patients as well. Unfortunately because of their very poor administrative staff, including poor customer service and lack of the ability to do their job, we will be finding a new dentist. Working in the medical field I know the importance of having reliable and friendly front office staff, which they do not. I will happily go back if their front office staff is completely re-employed.

Was on the hunt for a new dentist and these guys are superb! Friendly and informative staff, the woman who did my cleaning did a excellent job. Would definitely recommend coming here for your dental needs!

The staff was sooo friendly. I went on my birthday and they sang happy birthday to me! I cant beging to express how grateful I am that they made me feel welcome and not at all terrible about not seeing a dentist in a year and a half. This is by far the best dental visit Ive ever had and it says a lot because I get very nervous going to the dentist. Thank you to the staff for being so amazing and kind.

One of the beat dentist I’ve ever been too. They found a small spot that might be a cavity. Went to my prior dentist and had xrays 8 days prior and they didn’t note anything. The entire office is so welcoming and friendly. I chose them based off of others reviews. You won’t go wrong choosing them!!!

The dental team and staff were so nice and friendly. I was 30 min early so they offered a full body massage chair while I waited. Dr. Razak was amazing. I usually hate going to the dentist due to the expected pain with anesthesia but it was the best experience ever. The hygienist was knowledgeable and gentle as well. Im really going to miss this experience when we move. Best dental office Ive been to in 30 years!

I’ve been going to Smiles Of Eastlake for over 13 years. I first went for Invisalign. My children have also received dental 🦷 care there. They make my biannual dental visits comfortable. Everyone is extremely friendly and I strongly recommend.

Absolute worst experience. I took my sons there and myself. However they have no idea how to schedule one person’s calls makes appointment and then when you get there someone tells you know your appointments not today it was yesterday. Then they try to charge the insurance $75 for missing the appointment which wasn’t true because I had a confirmation text on my phone which I showed the lady. I do not recommend this place at all. I take time off work to go to your appointments and they are never sure when your exact appointment is!! They are overwhelmed and desperately need some help

I have been going to Smiles of East lake for almost 5 years and I have to say this is the best dentist office I’ve been to in a while . I am going to miss them as we are a military family and we’ll be moving by the summer . It’s so nice when you get that warm greeting from the beginning, starting with when you walk in to they end . I had been neglecting my teeth for the last 2-3 years and so was nervous going in. Yuri was my hygienist and she was so thoughtful, kept checking in to see if I was comfortable, took her time with the cleaning and was so gentle but thorough. The dentist came in to do the exam and even complemented how strong my bones look from the xray. They did the xray, cleaning, and exam in the same room I didnt have to shuffle to and fro. Yuri also scheduled my 6 month out appointment right in the room. Super fast, easy, and relieved me of all anxiety!

I was looking forward to my appointment, since I had not had one in a year.. it was a great experience, it usually takes a couple of visits to relax and adjust to a new hygienist, I was comfortable from start to finish.

I had my first visit today and will never go anywhere else. The staff were all very friendly, welcoming, and professional. I was there early for my appointment and taken back early for my treatment. Huge bonus points! I felt zero pain during my visit and actually was very relaxed the entire time. I highly recommend this dental office!

The doctors and the staff at smiles of EastLake are phenomenal. they’re all pleasant, cheerful individuals. the technician who took care of me, whose name I did not get, but she was very helpful and reassuring to me. I was reluctant at first to talk but she said she enjoyed talking to her patients so after that, I had a blast conversing with her. I believe the doctors went above and beyond what my insurance paid for, even though they did not indicate it to me. I recommend them to everyone.

Simply the most pleasant experience I’ve ever had at the dentist. Excellent care and service. No pressure to buy cosmetic services. No hounding for payment. (They bill.) Ever since I became a patient here, 3 years ago, I no longer dread going to the dentist.

From the time I called to let them know I was in pain the kind lady at the front desk was able to get me an appointment the following afternoon. When I got at the dental office everyone was very nice and greeted me, asked me a few questions and then took my temperature to screen me for COVID-19 before entering.I was then checked in and was seen by Dr. Torres in a timely matter. Dr. Torres and his assistant was so comforting as I was in so much pain. He addressed my pain and was able to come up with a plan to fix what was causing me pain.

So glad I found a great dentist and dental hygienist. For my first visit, they were all very kind and understanding. The lady that cleaned my teeth was very gentle yet very thorough. She took her time and was very patient with me. Thank you Smiles Of Eastlake!!

Wonderful experience at Smiles Of East Lake!! Dental hygienist Yuri was wonderful, super gentle and eased my anxiety during my cleaning. I have put off going to the dentist for a couple years due to high anxiety and I cannot say enough how great my experience was at Smiles Of East Lake. I will go again in 6 months for another cleaning and for the first time in my adult life I am NOT dreading going to the dentist.

Very professional and thorough examination, cleaning was done really well and with care. From visiting other dentist offices where my gums where hurting after cleaning, here it is very minimal but still you can see the excellent job they did cleaning them. Highly recommended.

All the staff are extremely nice and friendly so they all get 5 stars.I’m giving 3 stars because I’m not a fan of the doctor. He came across as being unconfident in how to fix a few problems and also wanted me to get a root canal for no reason. I know I don’t need one because I went to another dentist for a second opinion.Teeth whitening and other cosmetic stuff is also always pushed on you at every visit. It’s like going to a nail salon with all their ad-ons.

I cannot rave enough about Stephanie! She is so sweet, so personal and so GENTLE. She treated me as a friend, not just another patient. We chatted as if we had known each other for years. She stopped frequently to make sure I was comfortable and double checking to make sure she wasn’t being too rough. I get my teeth cleaned religiously every 6 months and they have never felt this clean after a cleaning. Cannot recommend this sweet woman enough! :)

This place is simply awesome. From the receptionist, waiting room, massage chair, to the modern offices and welcoming staff and hygienist. I’ve always felt comfortable when being seen at this establishment as well as the rest of my family. Never experienced a dental setup like this one truly exceptional. Appointment reminders are sent to us to keep us well informed of next appointments. Couldn’t see myself attending another dentist.

Just like many people going to the dentist isn’t usually a place one wants to go. That said, the dentist, hygienist and front office team are professional, gentle and make you feel welcome. I actually really enjoyed my dentist appointment. The entire team from the check in staff to the dentist were friendly and professional. During my cleaning, I was able to relax and watch a movie that was showing on a screen above my head. The cleaning was painless and the hygienist was thorough. My teeth felt and looked great afterward. I made appointments here for my daughter and husband too.

I recently moved to Chula Vista from Northern California. I chose Smiles of East Lake to be my dental office on the recommendation of my daughter. They got me an appointment the next day after I had a cap come off my tooth. I now have a new cap for that tooth that fits perfectly. They offered me a special price as a new patient for a dental exam and teeth cleaning. I was very satisfied with the service by the dentists and the ancillary staff in the office. The front desk staff was very friendly.

Great dentist and team everyone is more than nice.

I wish a stylus was available to enter information and sign on the tablet. It is difficult to press selections at times and hard for the elderly to use or sign. And while entering my elderly fathers info, the tablet shut down and lost all the info I had input.
