I was very nervous about getting my wisdom teeth removed but as soon as I sat in the chair and Dr.Tillner walked me through everything as I was being sedated made me feel at ease. My husband was so surprised it was quick. Would definitely recommend. As for the staff, Jasmine was probably the nicest one there. The rest of the staff, needs some training with bedside manner. Please introduce yourselves when you bring the patients back, we’re anxious enough as it is.

Dr. Tillner himself was very nice, but the staff on the other hand was very rude and unprofessional. Make sure they check your insurance before they start your x-rays if youre getting a consultation. The woman who x-rayed me was very unfriendly and invited me back before I even finished filling out my form which is what they use to look up to see if youre covered. After the consultation is when they decided to tell me that I wasnt covered and had to pay $200.00 out of pocket. I thought I was covered, but it is their job to make sure that I am. I could afford it, but other people dont have the same circumstances and can be blindsided with paying $200.00 up front. 0 stars if I could.* I want to update my review, and say that I received a voicemail from Dr. Tillner and he apologized, he was unaware of this incident and refunded me! Thank you for being timely and responsive to my experience, its appreciated.*

I got referred to Dr. Tillner by my dentist to fix an issue with my gums. Dr. Tillner and his team helped and guided me through the procedure that i needed and everything went very smoothly. My recovery was fast and my follow ups where quick and painless. I guess going to your oral surgeon is not so bad when they know what they are doing.

I had my impacted wisdom teeth out by Dr. Tillner and it was such a great experience. I did intravenous sedation and woke up like nothing happened. I didn’t need to take any pain killers while healing, just ibuprofen. His staff is so helpful and nice. I recommend him to all of my friends and family.

I’m so happy we chose to take kid #2 to Dr. Tillner for wisdom teeth removal, (as opposed to our first experience traveling downtown with kid #1). He’s close to Eastlake, parking is easy, his staff are friendly, he’s fairly priced and the experience was fast and efficient. We were in and out in less than an hour. My son had no complications and no stitches to be removed. We were very pleased.

Dr. Tillner is a wonderful oral surgeon! I just recently completed having my implant placed by him. This was a difficult procedure due to the fact that I am older (64 Y/O), and the placement was my center upper tooth. He was so patient with me, checking my bone graft often to see if the implant would take well. He is very careful and particular that his work be successful. I am so happy with the results from this implant.I have a friend whos surgeon was not as careful. She lives in a different state, but decided to go to Dr. Tillner to repair the problem. Again, he was so professional and caring. He had a 3 week wait, but saw her the next day after she arrived. All the staff are very caring and want to do what is needed to help your experience be pleasant. Dont hesitate to go see Dr. Tillner, you will never regret it!

The staff is great and my sons wisdom tooth removal seems to have gone perfectly... no problems. The only reason for four stars instead of five has to do with cost and follow up.1. Generally, I feel like the initial consultation for these are free. It was a 15 minute visit, and I received a bill for over $100. This is before a one hour procedure that was well over $2k, with most of it out of pocket for us.2. I feel like post-operative instructions arent detailed enough. My son kept bleeding for longer than I thought and going through gauze like crazy, when all would have been different if he simply had bitten down a little harder on the gauze, but we didnt know.3. I was very surprised that theres no follow up appointment. I called to ask why and they said that the surgery is so routine that they no longer do them (the did offer to see him, but he was fine and I didnt want to risk further out of pocket costs). However, for a $2500 surgery that seems fairly invasive to us, it seemed strange to not have a follow up look.I would recommend Dr. Tillner, just wish that they did an initial consult at no cost (or waived the cost if you actually booked the surgery), had a bit more detail in their post-surgery instructions, and offered a follow up appointment.

I just had the wisdom teeth out today and it was the best experience! I was very nervous today but the caring staff and the relaxing calmness of Dr. Tillner made me feel as relaxed as I could possibly be. I really don’t remember much after he started the IV. The next this I remember was resting at home on the sofa. Thanks again for this fantastic surgery.Carl

I saw Dr. Tillner as referred by my regular oral surgeon when he was on vacation. I needed immediate care. Dr Tillner was excellent. He talked in detail about the problem I was having, and got me through a very difficult time. I liked the care I saw by his staff and with young patients who were in his office that day.

I have never been here personally {not yet, anyway, but I plan on it} however, my parents, have been here and they say Dr. Tillner is the gentlest Oral Surgeon theyve ever seen. Well see...Yesterday I visited Dr. Tillner for the first time, and my experience was comfortable and promising. The staff were all very friendly, the check-in process was a cinch, and the ease of visit went extremely well.I went to see Dr. Tillner about an implant. The assistant took an X-Ray of my mouth, and while setting up the machine and placing my face in the correct position, she was gentle and informative about the steps she was taking. She let me know what we would be doing next, and let me know about how long the process would take. The front office and rooms were all clean and tidy. This is a great place to come for oral surgery needs.

Axel at receptionist was pleasant. My daughter is 10 so she was nervous. The assistant that took her back lacked interest or bed side manner. Being that patient is young they should consider trying to make the patient more comfortable and easing their nerves. My daughter said, she (the assistant) didnt even speak to her as she walked her back to have her procedure. Small talk would have been nice. If I had known this I would have insisted that I go back with her.

Dr. Tillner is a one great Doctor! My previous dentist broke my wisdom tooth in half and left a root that goes up to my gum line that it got infected.Dr. Tillner was able to take that root out in 5 mins, he was telling me what to expect and he is very friendly. I highly recommend him for any oral surgeon need! His staff are also friendly and amazing!

Im so glad that I went to Dr. Tillner for my wisdom teeth removal. Him and his staff are amazing! I was very very nervous about having my wisdom teeth removed, but he explained everything to me as it was happening, and even told me exactly when I was going to start feeling dizzy! The staff members brought me a blanket because I was chilly before the operation... The nurse behind the desk even showed my fiancé and son where they could go to eat because no one is allowed food in the office for sterile reasons. Everyone was so respectful and I feel fine with almost no pain (my surgery was only 6 hours ago)I wish all medical providers were as kind and detailed as Dr. Tillner and his staff! I highly recommend him for any oral surgeries you may need!

Unfortunately, I do not want to rate the actual surgeon with two stars for the time that I did have with him, no complaints. Yet the rest of my actual experience TWO STARS and thats being nice. The support staff and their procedures need to be re-worked. Any oral procedures are very confusing and stressful for the patient. They made me feel like I was a inconvenience and their communication was disconnected.I would make a scheduled appointment and plan my day around it only to be called the day of to see if I would like to either come in earlier or later. That happened twice.I would get a call from the office and was told to be prepared for a procedure to come in to find out its only a follow up. OR I experienced the reverse , in which I thought would be a follow up but turns out to be for a procedure.I would get a statement from the insurance for costs but would be caught off guard when the office staff would ask for the full amount up front without warning when I checked in.

We did not have a procedure performed by Dr. Tillner however we referred to him by our primary dentist for wisdom teeth extraction. The office is nice and clean, office workers and assistants we met that day were polite and helpful. Dr. Tillner was polite and very informative about the planned procedure and I am sure he would have performed the procedure well. However, the ancillary staff performed an unnecessary assessment for which we were unaware due to poor communication between Dr Tillners staff and our primary dentist. We informed the staff of the issue after receiving the bill and received unacceptable customer service from one of the staff.Unfortunately we are not having our procedure performed at this office. I recommend that future patients ensure that they fully understand what procedures are being performed and the potential costs for these procedures for the initial assessment and actual planned procedure.

Dr. Tillners office runs professionally and efficiently. When I came in for the scheduled surgery, I was in the operating room within 5 minutes and had the IV placed within 2 minutes after sitting down, which Dr. Tillner placed himself, and I honestly could not feel him insert the needle or catheter. (I was a paramedic and now work in clinical research, and rarely do Doctors place their own IV catheters, I couldnt help but applaud how gentle and flawless his technique was) You will not find a more experienced dental surgeon. All of the costs were explained to me in the consultation as well as the day of the surgery. My out of pocket for the whole experience was only a few hundred dollars thanks to my insurance. My brother and I both had our wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Tillner and we will continue to recommend both friends and family. I would personally like to thank Dr. Tillner for your unrelenting drive to provide the highest level of care possible to every one of your patients.
