Great doctors and nurses however office staff are not professional and they are understaffed which makes them overwhelmed. They never show you a dental plan they just come in with an invoice and telling you what is your out of pocket expense. You trust that they checked it right unfortunately that is not the case in this office. When asked staff to contact insurance they told me they were really Busy and I had to call my insurance several times. Also, it turns out they where charging me incorrectly and it was a lot of money.I made a complain against office and they did not keep the information confidential so the person Knew that I had complained and they were upset and retaliating against me. They office manager had no manners and no respect. She was rude and extremely unprofessional even though they where doing they job wrong. I ended up switching to a different office and payed $50 dollars for the treatment that at this office they where charging me $1,000 for.Office does not return calls, appointments are way to far, they are overwhelmed and they will keep you waiting in the lobby long times even though you came in on time. Avoid this office if possible.

Before my Appointment Sarah The office manager Sent me All of the paperwork You generally fill out a half an hour before your appointment In an email link . And that way I was able to fill out all the paperwork and could just arrived for my appointment on time . I was greeted By friendly staff And quickly Taking in to have a set of X-rays done With all very clean, new , sterile X-ray equipment . Dr. Carpio was very professional as we walked through my different option And then searching through to help me create a dental plan, Show me what my insurance was able to cover And give me different payment options . 5 stars solely for my experience today! This is my new dentist and I went to get a filling and he (Emiliano Carpio) saw a yellow spot on my tooth (which all my previous dentists have been seeing for 5 years and had no idea how to get rid of it??) and he knew exactly what it was and removed it without me even complaining about it. It was not due to coffee or soda, but was cement left on my teeth when I had braces. I can smile more confidently again and it is 100% because of him. He went above and beyond and for that I will always appreciate him.

Let me just get right into it.. In person, the staff was very polite. Dr. Carpio was great at explaining my dental health and the cleaning was quick and painless. HOWEVER, there are HUGE communication issues between the business and the patient. After my set of x-rays and before the cleaning started, the woman from the front desk sat down with me and broke down the cost of services ( cleaning and x-rays - both covered fully by insurance, laser, night guard, and retainer). I paid for everything minus the cost of cleaning and x-rays which showed a $0.00 balance on the list of services. I pay and only receive a receipt that shows the total amount and the last 4 digits of my credit card. NOT an itemized receipt that I asked for.Fast forward a few weeks and I get a bill sent to my house for $174 with no description. I called and e-mailed with no response back. I then get another letter from a debt collector for the $174. After contacting my insurance, I find out Eastlake Modern Dentistry 1) submitted the laser treatment THIRTEEN times to my insurance and 2) obtained a set of x-rays that were not covered, did not tell me they were not covered and did not ask if I wanted to proceed.Only after filing a formal grievance did someone finally contact me from the office telling me they would zero the unpaid balance on my account. Horrible experience.

This Dentis uses a phone answering company that was a nightmare for me. Also I waited over 40 minites to be seen. The Dentist was fine and the staff was also fine

My Husband needed a change and started going to Modern dental. He feels like they actually listen to his needs and concerns. They don’t try to persuade him otherwise or convince him of something he doesn’t need.Also, something very important. It was a little after they closed that my daughter had a dental emergency. After about 15 minutes or so of getting a hold of someone at the office and them reaching out to the Doctor. He agreed to see my daughter for her emergency pain. This was such a relief and I am forever grateful for how empathetic they were to her situation. They really go above and beyond. This is our new home!

Been to this Dentist a few times. Service was mediocre so stopped going. Went back today as I heard they had new front staff. Nothing has changed, I just showed up and was told my appointment was cancelled when I had proof that my appointment was confirmed!! They offered to reschedule, why would I reschedule when I confirmed my original appointment. PATHETIC

Updated: I’d like to thank Rachel for taking care of it as much as she could, she was able to find me another location and get all my info transferred. I’m happy to keep them as my main provider.My initial appointment was great and the doctor did a phenomenal job. I’m just severely disappointed in the office. I was originally scheduled for a root canal and they waited till the day before my appointment to tell me there was a glitch in the system and the endontist isn’t being covered. Now they have to transfer me way up north another week from now! I had already waited two weeks. Got my hopes up id be relieved, but now I have to wait again with a temporary crown. I don’t understand when the appointment was confirmed, this wasn’t taken care of before hand so I was able to make proper travel arrangements and child care. I wasn’t notified till literally 24 hours prior. I’m so sad, but this isn’t acceptable either.

The name says it all. A modern dentistry. Awesome staff, and very efficient.

I’m so grateful that I chose Eastlake Modern Dentistry, despite the many practices in the Eastlake area! I had an urgent situation, and was able to be seen right away. The whole staff, including the dentist, made me feel so comfortable, and took care of the issue with 100% satisfaction. I highly recommend them & would give them more than 5 stars if I could.

The office staff is friendly, professional and courteous. Each one ensured that I had a thorough understanding of my treatment plan.

I had a great experience today as a first time patient at Eastlake Modern Dentistry! Im always a little bit nervous when going to the dentist but the entire staff was very welcoming and professional, particularly Dr. Carpio, he was very gentle and attentive, as well as thorough in his explanations, making sure I felt comfortable and at ease throughout the entire procedure - which was absolutely painless. The whole office was very nice and clean and I truly have nothing bad to say! It was a really good experience and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a great Dental Office! 😄
