Made my appointment with time for 11am and they made me wait 90 min to get seen. The receptionist was rude and acted like it was normal and suggested to get seen another day. Do people understand respect of your time. Go to another location

From scheduling, to treatment review, to payment, this experience was exceptional. Ive never left a dentist before, but considering changing to here after a single visit for a root canal. Perfect experience, start listen more than talk, and both Dr Deagle and Dr Cameron are personal, professional, and kind.

This review is not for any of the dentist or dental assistants. They are all great and I’ll miss your great service. My bad review is for the manager/front desk. I got overcharged on a crown and I was trying to resolve the issue between my insurance carrier, my flex spending carrier and the dental office manager. She was very rude and short every time I would call and try to get help. It was stressful enough calling three parties weekly and she did not make things easier. I won’t be going back because of her bad service. No office should have manager that’s not friendly in person and rude over the phones. What kind of example is Jennifer setting for the other receptionist.

If you are an anxious wreck & have had negative experiences with the dentist in the past, look no more.This. Is. The. Place!! The WHOLE staff was nothing but fabulous, Leda is AMAZIINNNG!! I have never in my life experienced a more painless visit! I went in for a quote for wisdom teeth removal , however they also noticed I had a cavity and my gums were badly infected. They were able to schedule me in for that same day for a cavity filling and to treat my gum disease. I had to get numbing injections and of course that’s always extremely painful and right about where I start to have a panic attack.However Ms.Leda numbs your gums and cheeks before injecting ,not to mention she has an excellent method of injecting you slowly (I know this sounds worse but trust me I barely felt a thing) She assisted me with my breathing and took it at my pace with everything. Consistently checking on my pain discomfort. I cannot rave enough guys! I mean who loves the dentist? I guess now that I have found my favorite place I don’t ever have to neglect my oral hygiene again!

I brought my two-year-old daughter into the dentist for the first time and I have to say it has been the best dental visit I have ever experienced. The staff was welcoming and nice. The dental assistant was amazing with my daughter and made the visit to the dentist a fun experience. Dr. Karroll is sweet and amazing. I felt comfortable as a parent asking question regarding my childs dental health. I want to thank you and your entire staff for an amazing experience.

I have been coming to this dental office for the last couple of years with my family now. I have my husband and our 5 children. Every time we go, I have been satisfied with the both the adult and kids’ side of the dentistry. No matter if I am comfortable with the plan or not, I feel that the team communicates well to come up with a solution that accommodates what needs to be done. I love the professionalism in the front area and the interaction with the dentist and hygienist.

This dental office is the best ive ever been to. Leda is the best at cleaning teeth . you dont want to eat for hours after. Great diet plan!! The minute you walk in the door you feel at ease. The staff at Canyon Vista Dental group definitely made sure to take their time and made me feel really comfortable during the my entire procedure. I had two cavities filled and Dr. Singh made sure to take care of me along with her assistant’s Martha and Terry.I got a cleaning done by Leda and she’s absolutely amazing and super friendly. If you’re going to get your cleaning done by anyone, definitely get it done by her!

If there was a way to do a 5,000 star rating, I STILL do not think it would be enough. I have never been to a dentist office where the ENTIRE staff was so incredibly amazing. I was deathly afraid and sobbed through the entire visit because of previous dental experiences, but I walked out like a completely new person. Every SINGLE person on staff here is absolutely professional, unquestionably genuine, uncharacteristically caring, and unequivocally knowledgeable, regardless of a patient’s condition. I was deeply ashamed of my teeth, but they gave me a plan that changed my life. I found HOPE here to smile again!!! Plus, they worked with our entire family to financially make sure every one of us was part of a healthy dental plan for life!!!!!!If there was a way to go back in my life to come here as a child, as a teen, or as a young person, I would because my entire perspective of dentistry would be different. Great place real professional staff only my second time coming and love this place specially front desk assistant Aileen she was awesome and even helped watch my son while I got my teeth cleaned. Leda was so cool during the cleaning process she even gave me tips to do at home to maintain a clean snile

I love this office. I have dental phobias and this team works with me to get me through my fears. They are a thoughtful and caring group. I recommend this office to everyone. My husband and I needed fillings replaced and he needed a crown. They managed to get it all done in one visit. They told us what the cost was outside of insurance up front. Great group here.

I visited this dental office a couple days ago for my first visit to the dentist in many years. I was very nervous, but the staff made me feel so comfortable and taken care of. From my xrays, to my cleaning and other dental care all of the staff that assisted me were genuinely caring and very nice. I feel like I am in great hands at this office. Only disappointment was the receptionist, not sure if she was just having a bad day, but she was very rude. Other than that it was a great experience and I highly recommend this Dentist office.

I had one horrible experience after another with this dental group from their sub par work to overcharging me. The root canal they performed failed after having paid about $1,500 for it. Plus they not only charged me for the root canal, they charged my insurance for the same service and then refused to refund me. I had to have my insurance company reach out to them to collect repayment. Additionally, I had to pay more money to have that failed root canal extracted by a different oral surgeon group and pay for an implant to replace that extracted tooth. Their shoddy root canal work ended up costing me thousands of dollars to repair!! If I could give no stars I would. Stay away from this horrible dental group!

Terrific service from their Periodontal team. I was nervous to get my cleanings & Xrays but they made me feel at ease! I recommend them!! Leda is great & really professional too.

The wife and I decided to give this place a chance. Now our whole family comes here. The staff here, from the recieptonist all the way to the doctors are very friendly and show compassion for what they do. Angela the dental hygienist was extremely caring and attentive towards our son who is extremely scared of the dentist. Give this place a chance and you will not be disappointed.

Now days its very difficult to find a dentist office which youre satisfied with to get the work done for you. Well, I happen to be one of the lucky people to find the BEST DENTIST OFFICE and BEST Hygienist, Leda, in San Diego!!I originally was a patient at a location in Santee, but they were the WORST! I couldnt leave because my Hygienist, Leda was there. She changed offices and moved to Canyon Vista Dental Group in Chula Vista, well I followed to that office and Im GLAD I did, because theyre by far the best dentist location Ive ever had!!From the front desk receptionists, to the hygienists, to the Doctor, theyre very friendly, professional, honest and do the best dentist work! If youre looking for a place to do work on youre teeth, this is the place where I recommend you going, theyre #1 and if you need a Hygienist, ask for Leda.

Don’t waist your time it will cost you thousands of dollars. I got their house made porcelain crown and it broke in less than 4yrs. Now they used every excuse to replace it under their warranty. They want me to pay $1,400 for a new one.I was scheduled for my 6 month cleaning and a crown replacement. After waiting for an hour and half after xrays. My teeth had still not been cleaned! But! The front office came in to discuss copayments of more than 3,400 for future work and my teeth had still not been cleaned by the hygentist. They recommend me to get a different type of cleaning that my insurance didn’t cover. I did not accept their recommendation and insisted to get my regular cleaning and the refused. They said that they cannot work backwards that in order for me to get my regular cleaning I needed to get their treatment. So I did not get any cleaning done after two 2hrs of going back and forth on their cleaning plan. I had to reschedule for another day. Waist of time.On my second appointment I rescheduled to get my crown. Less the 4years ago I paid them $1,100 for a crown that broke. I was there to replace it. They said that it was not covered by their warranty because I had stop going to that dental office that I had to buy a new one. I asked them to replace it with a porcelain crown that my insurance covers. They interested that my insurance didn’t not cover their home made crown and that they did not recommend for me to get the one that my insurance covers. After going back and forth with them they told me that my insurance would not cover it because of frequency limitation. Excuse after excuse to get me to buy their 1,400 crown. I refused to buy their expensive crown that I had purchased less than 4years ago. I called my insurance and I don’t have a frequency limitation on my policy. THIS DENTAL OFFICE IS A HOUSE OF LIVING VAMPIRES. They will suck the blood out of you.

This dentist office is a fraud, all they want to do is tie you into charges once they see you are approved or have the money to pay. They supposedly prepped work I needed to ensure that they will get paid for a bridge that was not needed once I confirmed with another dentist the work this dentist office was fraudulent everything changed. They took off a new crown and grind down a good healthy tooth to prep my bridge that I obviously dont need. Once I called them out on it they said I would be able to have different options of work and not necessarily a bridge. The dentist that decided to go that route in the first place is not even the dentist that is to extract the tooth for the bridge. Now they have charged me $3340 out of the $3600 they quoted for removing a New crown, scrapping off my good tooth and numbing me. I have never heard of a dentist office charging you before they even do work on you. This dentist office is malpracticing and professional, unethical and the front staff very unprofessional when being questioned about what work I need and discussing charges that you are not okay with. Do not fall for these robbers that are making good honest dentist office look bad. In my life I have never encountered such a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND SERVICE as I have with them. Right now I am walking around stressed out of my mind with a temporary, a tooth were they removed my enamel and its turning yellow due to it not being any longer protected, scared that my temp will break at any moment and honestly traumatized!!The manager will not let me speak with the dentist regarding the charges stating the dentist has nothing to do with it. So now that a dispute has happened what do I do with my tooth issue, I am honestly in shock, upset and without any answers of where to go but a huge bill of services that were NOT done and credit score being effected. I would honestly put negative stars if I could

I am embarrassed to say it’s been far too long since I have been to the dentist...I was so nervous about my appt today but from the second I was greeted by the super friendly receptionist to the time she checked me out I felt SO incredibly comfortable!!! Everyone was so nice and had huge beautiful smiles throughout my visit. I am already excited for my next visit with them, as I know now I have nothing to be concerned about! Thank you ALL!!!

The staff was helpful, friendly and they took care of me! I dont know what these other people are talking about comparing them to a car dealership cuz in my experience they gave me options per my insurance and educated me on the difference then let me choose. Dr Singh was funny and really cared about my teeth. I will be going back!

They auto withdrew funds from my credit card for their payment plan which I did not give consent too, nor was I given a paper copy of this contact. BBB has been advised, which the CEO of CVDG & Jennifer had ghosted our requests for a response. D- grade to billing Dept, but finally got their accounting dept.s refund after waiting almost a month after passing the promise date of my refund. Terrible billibg customer service in the follow up with customer area even being polite with them; BE CAREFUL and keep a close eye on your wallet with these guys. Ill be filing complaint with my insurance next.

The staff is always so welcoming and attentive. I’ve have horrible experiences in the past with other offices and this staff has definitely turned that around for me. Highly recommend!

Office looks decent. People were nice, but honestly all they care about are charging for every single little thing and you will find insurance covers almost nothing at this dental office. I agree with most all of the reviews that all they care about is taking your money and they make no effort at all to provide any discount. Ridiculously expensive!! Not just a little expensive but with the massive laundry list they find with everyone in your family the bill will go into the thousands. NO DISCOUNTS!! Even with insurance. Actually quite sad because they miss out on thousands of dollars in work by charging crazy pricing with no assistance and we have insurance.

I wish I would have read the reviews before coming here. There is nothing worst as consumers to be provided with really bad customer service. All they care about is taking your money and as soon as they do you are on your own. Definitely would not recommend and I would advise to check reviews before consulting.

I took my 3 year old daughter for her first visit today. Called this morning and they got me in the same day. The staff was so nice and my daughter loved it!!!! The doctor was done in 15 minutes, we will definitely be back!

I read the reviews of this location and, honestly, didnt really want to go. But, my tooth cracked and, due to insurance, I would have had to wait 1 month before I could see a different dentist...so I took a chance. I AM GLAD I DID. Dentistry is expensive everywhere. They presented my options and pricing and were very clear that whatever was done was ultimately up to me. I told them what I wanted and what I didnt want, and they responded exactly as I asked. I never felt overly pressured at any time. I normally trust the reviews I see, but my experience wasnt anything like what I read here. Just be prepared for high price options (again, pricing is high everywhere) and make an informed decision.

This place is a joke. Don’t go here unless you’re willing to pay for unnecessary services that they claim is covered by your insurance company and that you’ll end up paying a butt load of your own money for in the end! Incompetent Office Manager and Receptionist. The Office Manager says she will straighten things out with the insurance company regarding claim payment, yet they will never keep you updated until you receive a Collection Notice from the insurance company who’s going to threaten to affect your Credit for non-payment!! They are not thorough with their Billing Dept! UNSAT...I will never refer this place to anyone needing Dental care!!!

We had an apt for today at 11am, i took 1/2 a day off from work. For them to tell me they are running behind and the dentist can’t see me today!!!!! Do they realize I just lost $150 by taking half a day off. Poor management, they could call and let us know they are running late in advance especially if it’s an entire half a day.

This is the worst place have ever been to! Twice I was told they didn’t have me on their appointment slots. Please don’t waste your time and look for more friendly place you can trust.

I went into Canyon Vista on a Saturday when they were doing pro-bono dental services. They did a fantastic job identifying my dental issues, educated me on the procedure to be preformed, and executed the dental procedure without any pain. I will be continuing my dental care at Canyon Vista.

If i could give this place no stars i would , when i came here i felt pressured to pay over 1,000 for a procedure i could get half the price for somewhere else. Staff is unfriendly and would not recommend this place at all. Manager is rude and unprofessional.

Please please do your research before you come to this place. Staff is very nice and friendly but try to up sale you everything. Tell you things are necessary when it is merely optional. I’m talking about things that will cost you hundreds. I have friends in the dental field and everyone says this place took advantage of me. So not knowing I signed for a dental plan of $1000. They did my left side day of and was suppose to come back for the right side. I canceled so they’re suppose to refund me back my $500... well that was 5 months ago. It’s been months and months of excuse after excuse. Oh we didn’t know you wanted a refund. Oh we sent the check. Oh wrong address. Oh we sent it. Oh ok we will send it to the office and call you. Oh we don’t know where the check is. It’s been over 5 months and they can’t even tell me where the check is or if it exists... every time I get an excuse I’ve waited weeks only to hear another one. Let me be clear. They I’m currently paying interest on a treatment I havnt even done. They charged me for something they havnt even done. They owe me hundreds and still give me excuses. “They manger is on vacation.” They used that excuse last time and I don’t care. Please do your research. This place will take your money and run. I’m literally threatening to call the California dental board and they still havnt paid me back.

Poor customer service! Manager never returns calls! Received a collection notice from an issue in October, and it is now January. You were supposed to resolve this and you dropped the ball. This is not a good place to go to get dental consultation. Received an appointment and visited their clinic 3 days ago in Otay Lakes Rd, Chula Vista to have a missing cap front tooth replaced. Ended up with a laundry list of treatment with an out of my own pocket co-pay of almost $17K. Left the clinic with front tooth cap still missing and was told to come back because it takes time to get it done. Instead, I went to Dr. Liu at Rancho Del Rey the next day and she gets it done in less than an hour. Canyon Vista Dental Group is like a used car dealership trying to sell you a car you do not want. I would give them a minus star if its available. I would never return to this place and shall never recommend to anyone to visit their clinic. Be warned!

First time I have ever walked out of a dentist office. After an hour and half of xrays and being told what I need in the future. My teeth had still not been cleaned! But! The front office came in to discuss copayments for future work and my teeth had still not been cleaned by the hygentist! I have NEVER not had my teeth cleaned immediately after xrays and future work discussed at check out. Ive NEVER been left sitting in an exam chair to only have future stuff shoved down my throat. Ive NEVER have spent more than 45 minutes to an hour in a dentist office for an appointment for a cleaning. After an hour an and half; they had not even started! I efn left!!! What a horrible process and my teeth have still not been efn cleaned! Now I have to try and find another dentist and take another day off work! IM MORE THAN PISSED HOW THEY HAVE TOTALLY WASTED MY TIME!

This place deserves 0 stars, if negative stars were an option theyd deserve that.This place is all that is wrong in the US with Health Care. I went into their office with extreme pain and was treated really well initially and during the X-ray. When I went into the actual consultation, I received a good walk through of what was wrong and had high hopes when I was told that the problem wasnt very serious and could easily be taken care of. I was advised that I need a tooth extracted, two root canals, an implant and a bridge done. While I understand this may be the best option, it was also by far the most costly.At the moment Im working at a startup and were attempting to get insurance (health/dental) completed but waiting for that isnt something Id be able to do because of my pain. I was quoted $11,000 for the treatment and immediately had some blonde lady who tries to apply high pressure sales to me while I sit in a chair feeling vulnerable. She walked me through a credit card program but offered no real solution to being able to get ACTUAL treatment without paying nearly a quarter of my middle class yearly salary. I asked for other treatment options to alleviate the pain, even if it resulted in me returning and forking out that massive amount of money.I was hoping even just for the tooth to be extracted so I could function once more and in a nutshell was told Im a Professional Dentist, if you cant do my overpriced treatment so I can pay for my 200k Kim Kardashian Mercedes SUV outside, Im not doing anything and got referred to Tijuana. Like are you kidding me? This place is by far the single worst experience Ive ever had not just with dental work but with health care in general.
