Dental Checkup was awesome. Very explanatory and quick. Im so afraid of dentists and she put me right at ease. The front desk personnel are kind of cold and condescending but if you can get past that the rest of the staff is amazing!

I’ve tried a few dental offices in Chula Vista over the years and Dental Check up has the best staff hands down. They are very professional and courteous. I can tell the staff takes a lot of pride in their work and it shows with their professionalism.Dr. Cervantes genuinely cares about his patients and informs me about the best treatment and options available. He doesn’t hesitate to answer any questions or concerns.Highly recommended!

Right as I walked in the door I was welcomed with open arms which made me feel reassured. I called and was given an appointment almost right away which was a nice surprise. The wait to get attended was not long at all and they provided me with detailed information about my teeth and all the work that would have to be done to them. Honestly one of the best dental places I have ever been to, highly recommend.

Called their office weeks ago to schedule an appointment. Day of I received a call from them to cancel. No biggie, until I rescheduled and they again called and canceled. Im pretty patient so I gave them a third try. Can you guess what happened? Canceled. But this time I did not reschedule. I cant trust them to take care of my dental needs today, I cant trust them to take care of my needs moving forward. Oh, and on yelp their business is reportedly closed.

I call on monday to make a app they gave a app for my kids and me for thath coming thursday i show up early and they were close and one off the staff came out and they toll me the app was for the fallowing weeck 🤬 so irresponsable

Horrible service! First off, they never answer the phone and receptionists are very rude and unprofessional. They’re not very helpful and they don’t work out payment plans with you if your insurance doesn’t cover for the full service that you’re getting. I definitely do not recommend this place.

I usually go to the dentist in TJ because I’ve had bad experiences in SD, however they were SUPER nice, helpful/honest and professional. I’ll be coming here from now on.Alma was also really sweet and gave us great advice for the treatment I’ll be doing.

My first time at dental check was great! The doctor and employees were supper nice and caring explained mi dental treatment needed and offered payments plans . Will definitely recommend this office to friends and family.

I had an appt.at 9am but I was surprised,they call me early.i was entertain very well from the front desk staff, Dr .Asst. esp.Dr. Cervantes. he explain to me everything about my denture problem.it was great.i was satisfied.everybodys excellent . GOOD JOB GUYS.

AUGUST/17/2018Google should really have the thumbs down tool!Let me start by saying that unfortunately my work insurance had me assigned to this office. I tried to switch to a different dental place but unfortunately most dental places dont take one day transfers they ask for a month. When I called my dental insurance they told me that in the meantime I would have to go to the current dental until the transferred was completed. Let me tell you that the receptionist was no help st all!! On top of the fact that she lied to me and told me I couldnt walk in today bc they were having an extended lunch she booked me for another day than when I called to confirm my appointment she had told me that my appointment was at 2 pm which no it wasnt I booked it for 4pm... she than booked another appointment for the following day and later that day I got a call from the manager telling me they wouldnt be able to see me that day either bc some electrical problem. In the mean time Im in sever pain do to a broken molar!! I was upset bc of all the run around they had me go through and still at the end of the day couldnt see me. The manager had the nerve to question my additude!! I would never ever recommend a place like this to anybody!! But I would like to say that in the desperate need of getting my tooth fix I found an amazing dental office called ESTRELLA DENTAL not only was the dentist willing to work with me to help me bit the staff are beyond amazing!
