The medical care is great.. WHEN you can get it. I can’t say anything about other providers but in theory my medical team is with Dr.Trausch. But they have so many patients If you’re sick there’s no point in even trying. Better to just go to urgent care.Even scheduling a “non urgent” medical appointment with a member of their care team can be regularly two weeks out. I’ve been trying to be seen for A MONTH. Two reschedules later and I’m leaving the practice. If there aren’t enough providers to account for appointments within two days, or to carry the weight when someone calls out, then there’s a problem.Oh. And it is completely unprofessional to call a patient at 7am. Especially to cancel a video call. I can be notified via the app or called at 8am like any other cancelation.

Not sure who the reviewers dealt with at this location, BUT I have always been greeted by the receptionist with professionalism and ‘Hello Jill’. I always make my appointments by the skin of my teeth. If I have to wait so be it, someone must need those minutes to deal with what the doctor told them. Or the doctor had an emergency call to another patient. The Nurse inform me of the wait which I appreciate.Doctor P is the best, and will apologies for being late, after a big smile and Hello! She listens to what my online doctor degree has told me! She explains everything to my level, and is very encouraging! So if I have to wait for her, I will wait and not complain!

They canceled my appointment the morning of due to their system being hacked. I called a week later to see about rescheduling and I was informed the systems were still down. Going on 3 weeks now and still havent been called to reschedule. Other offices have a nearly 2 month wait and I needed to be in for an annual exam in May, so thats incredibly inconvenient and unsatisfactory.

Have been trying to get an appointment fo an emergency room follow up for 2 days. Not a single call back after being told someone would call me back immediately. 30 plus minute wait times to speak with an answering service is completely unsatisfactory for any healthcare facility. Since get hit with Ransomware Scripps clearly does not have patients care in mind

I called appointment desk on 11/12/20 at 138pm for lab work and was told I’m good for 740am 11/13/20. I checked-in with Lab receptionist and was told my name is not on the list. I told her I called in the day before and she told me to wait and she’ll get back to me when she finds out what is goin on. My wife called the appointment desk and they said I don’t have any appointment scheduled at all. After waiting for 30 minutes and without any update from the Lab receptionist. Got home and had breakfast. 30 minutes later I saw a message from Scripps appointment desk time stamped at 816am, a few minutes after the wife called them. Too little too late. Why didn’t the Lab receptionist tell me that they accept walk-ins and just write me in as a walk in patient? Why did the appointment desk failed to enter my name for the lab appointment? Why is it suddenly I have a different time appoint at 840am the same day that was e-mailed to me 24 minutes before my actual appointment? My first visit with Scripps for urgent care, I was told they can’t do much for me because they have limited resources and that I need a primary care physician. I was re-scheduled to come back on the 9th which I did and everything was fine. I was told to get blood work done and that’s when the above events took place. You need to get people who can do the job right and not because they know someone from the inside.

Had an appointment for 4:20, showed up 20 minutes early and was checked in. Waited an additional 40 minutes past appointment time, still not called. The board that states wait times for each doc was not filled out! Was called earlier in the day to possibly come in for an earlier appointment but could not.I do not want to wait for over an hour in a doctors office during a pandemic! There could at least be some form of communication so my time was not wasted!

Being a military spouse it’s very hard to uproot your life and settle in a new city. It’s also very hard to find businesses that hold the same values as you. But after doing my research I thought I’d found a great clinic to go to, but I was sadly mistaken. The first two years here were great because I only came once a year for my yearly physical and for the most part never had problems with refilling my medication. However, this year hasn’t been as pleasant. The problem started when my pharmacy called me to inform me that they’ve been trying to get ahold of my doctors office to refill my medication but had no luck. They told me they’ll keep trying. Keep in mind this was on a Wednesday and I had to start this medicine on a Sunday. When I didn’t hear back, I tried reaching out unfortunately I wasn’t able to till Saturday. To my surprise my doctor didn’t have a NP on call, only a RN (which wasn’t helpful at all). She told me there’s nothing they can do and that I had to wait till Monday (making me late to take the medication). Due to the delay I requested a back up medication. On Monday I found out that my doctor only for filled one of my request. During the process of going back and forth with her office I was disrespected and treated poorly. I was also hung up on and when I finally got both medications one of them was sent to the wrong pharmacy. No apologies, no sincerity, nothing. My advice is to find a better doctor (if you must go to this clinic) and or a different clinic! In responses to the owner:I’ve read that y’all don’t do much in regards to these complaints and incidences. I will reach out but if this problem doesn’t get resolved I will definitely be taking further actions!

Took me 3 month for a doctors appointment from primary for a physical, doctor was running late for 30/45 mins. I showed up 20 minutes before appointment. The wait time display board did not display running late for my Doctor. Due to unforeseen issues, I could not wait additional time passing my appointment time. The first floor front desk lady clerk was very compassionate and reschedule asap. I give thanks to the lady for helping me out. And took action to update the wait time for other patients .

I used to be treated at Scripps Torrey pines so I was skeptical of going there at first. However, the team there is ready to take care of you. It is extremely easy to schedule, place of have an appointment. They also have an on-site lab, so it is very easy to get tests done there. They also have an x-ray facility and the staff there is very friendly and helpful. Dr Lee takes the time to listen and thinks about your problem/concern. Having shadowed him personally, I can say that HE CARES about you. The parking there is virtually empty everyday so its really easy to just park and go.

This office is inept. Im not sure if it is a training facility, but everyone seems to be in training and, consequently, your appointment that should take 30 minutes takes an hour and 30 minutes. Try calling the call center. They will reroute your call three times and then send you to a bank of useless voicemails. A call that should take two minutes takes 12. Oh! blood draws with the student phlebotomist are a waste of resources and extremely uncomfortable. How about NOT digging around in my arm until you get the blood to flow. I switched from Kaiser for this? Guess what they dont have an issue with? Collecting my co-pays.

Not professional. Did not care to listen to my problems and concerns. The diagnosis they gave seemed like they were making up answers to the questions I asked. My opinion they were just making up stuff to get rid of me. One employee assured me one thing and another employee told me something different. Requested to give a message to the doctor and I had to follow up myself to get the question answered. When I called the second time a day later, the way and duration I was on hold tells me the message never got past along.

I waited an hour and a half after my scheduled appointment before I saw the doctor. The only reason given was that she had a talkative patient. No one cared to explain until they were 45 minutes late and they assured me it wouldnt be much longer...15 minutes later I was taken to a room where I wanted another 30 minutes. The walls are paper thin so do not expect privacy. Just choose another doctor and facility.Update: I responded to their reply to this email. A patient advocate responded saying someone from the clinic would be in touch, and that has yet to happen. It appears they respond to bad reviews to make themselves look better on Google but have no intentions of actually attempting to better a situation.

I switched from Sharp to Scripps and the experience has been the best possible one I could make. Dr. Tran takes all the necessary time to do his work and hear the patient out in order to make the best possible recommendation. I would recommend Dr. Tran to anyone seeking a professional physician who cares.Alexi Rabay

I am very impressed with the level of care I have been receiving with Scripps. Not only at this Eastlake location but Ive also done services at the Chula Vista location. They have an app that has everything about your visits, appointments, labs, exams that makes your care be accessible literally in my finger tips. The drs I have seen have been very professional and the information I have received through the My Chart app has allowed me to be on top of my health with being able to see results of my exams whether it is lab work or xrays, ultrasounds or MRIs. Scripps is doing it right for their patients and using technology to their benefit!

The facility and parking and very nice, but the Pediatrician, Siva Ganesh, refuses to follow the CDC child immunization schedule. She has committed medical battery, giving different vaccines than were needed/warranted. Then, when I pushed back about the vaccine schedule, she started accusing us of child abuse. I have filed a complaint with TriCare and have switched doctors immediately!

They use to be great. Now its a horrible establishment. There are some good doctors here and some great people on staff, but you will not be able to schedule an appointment with your doctor of choice or any doctor for that matter because they are booked for months in advance. They will blame it on the new system, but in actuality The scripps bosses are too cheap to hire more doctors to better serve us. Its not the staffs fault, they try their best. Its been this way for years now. So it is not the new system thats causing the big problems, even though the new and old system suck. There is simply not enough doctors to go around here. They are breaking laws by not having appointments available to their patients on the same day, even if you are the first one to call In the morning, you still wont get an appointment that day or any day remotely close to that day, no matter what your symptoms are. They have a really bad system for messaging doctors and getting messages from doctors. Its called email scripps, its not rocket science. Go to sharp or kaiser, stay away from this place at all costs. I could go on, but I hope you get the point by now.
