Absolutely never ready on time. Extremely slow fixing issues. Use any other pharmacy

Horrible horrible service. I started going to this Walgreens since it’s closest to my new place. I’m from out of state, so I can understand sometimes there’s gonna be some obstacles. But they did not handle them properly. The first incident was when there was an issue with a prescription that meant I had to call my doctor. Instead of notifying me in a timely manner, I didn’t find out until that evening. On a Friday. So I couldn’t do anything about it until Tuesday (doctors office was closed on Monday).Second incident was when I requested a refill through my doctor, but for some reason they couldn’t refill it, leading it to me playing phone tag. I have been with my doctor for almost a decade, traveling all around the country and have never had an issue until this Walgreens.I have six prescriptions that need to be filled every month. And issues like these happen every month. From now on I’ll be driving the 45 minutes to a competent pharmacy.

Re:Egregious conduct of staff working in pharmacyThe staff assigned to assist customers opting to pickup medication through the drive through window are rude & lack basic knowledge of standard procedures.Witnessed Staff shouting at a customer and candidly shouting out private health information.I was shocked & dismayed at such conduct.Meanwhile, the Pharmacist who was in close proximity made no attempt to stop the harassment, verbal abuse or blatant HIPAA violation.I personally will not ever use a Walgreens Pharmacy again.

I have used this pharmacy and they have always been speedy and great as well as now only reason Im not giving them 5 stars is bc my latest visit through the drive though pharmacy the lady at the window( Ive never seen previously) seemed like she went above and beyond to be very rude and inconsiderate. I wish I would have got her name(although prob wouldnt have offered that either.

Havent been inside in a long time but when Ive been inside everybody is very nice n helpful. Even the pharmacist was very courteous.

Sat at the drive through for 15 minutes before we were acknowledged- no one at the window inside :(

Beater count your pain pills before you leave! 2 times I have been shorted.

Jess, in the pharmacy, was beyond helpful! After battling with Kroger for over an hour about my prescriptions, I called Walgreens and gave them my information and the rundown on what was happening. By the time I drove to Walgreens she had already spoken to my insurance company, resolved my issue, and my prescriptions were ready. I highly recommend this pharmacy.

I love this store they always have what I need and help me whenever I’m looking for something I can’t find and the pharmacy is very patient with me ... someone who has to much to call in with a big family and long list of medications that becomes overwhelming for me to remember sometimes let alone a complete strange 5 stars Walgreens in Christansburg

We had been with this pharmacy for years, prior to switching. Always 20+min wait, then once you got to the window they was out of the medication, or still wasnt ready. 9/10 very rude, never smiling, never went above or beyond for us as CUSTOMERS. Super glad we switched to christiansburg pharmacy.

Found out that I can not get medicine because its 4 days over 6 months and it expires after 6 months so if I could have known i could have filled last weekend with no problem but instead they dont care and expect you to know the 6 month rule i dont get it you cant call and let me know its going to expire in couple days or last month when i picked it up they could have told me get your next one before it expire so now i have to make a appointment a month earlier and get off track witch with this is basically starting over yay thanks i will never use yall again that and gave me the wrong size needles yea your done walgreens

I am a loyal customer to Walgreens, but I am very disappointed with this time visit. I printed a 4x6 photo with my daughters face on it through internet, which generates 36 cents charge. However, when I picked it up in store, the photo center staff Emily insisted charging me 14.99 dollars instead, since she believes there will be a passport photo use. I explained very politely, it is not a passport photo. But she refused to listen and directly called her manager, who is extremely rude and arrogant too! He claimed it is against their rules that I only pay 36 cents for a 4x6 photo as I printed. I was totally shocked and furious! First, it is my privacy what I print in a photo and how I am going to use it. They have no right to judge it! Second, their system allows me through, and before I went to the store I received a confirmation email from them as I always did. If the manager or Emily think they had to change the price, why no one called/texted me before I went! At least, that could save me a whole trip! Third, being a customer, I didnt expect to be yelled at when I am receiving the service! Only because their unprofessional knowledge and unfriendly attitude, I had to absorb the negativeness and bad mood that they left me. Unbelievable!!!

The pharmacy doesnt know how to do their job. Treated me like a scam artist and was later found to be their error and didnt as much as get an apology at all. I will never use them again. Kristin, the pharmacist on duty, has no personal skills, or empathy. Very rude.

They dictated to me what medications they will and will not fill. If a doctor writes a medicine for seizures they just need to fill the medicine and mind there own. This happened over a year and a half ago. Never have been, never will be a drug addict. I have intractable tonic clonic epilepsy.I do feel and have helped others with addiction, so understanding about it.But they judged me and it was wrong. My doctors medicate me not Walgreens!

Never again will I take my prescriptions to this store. My doctor had a zero in front of the decimal point, and the pharmacist refused to fill it because she insisted that the decimal could be meant to be in front of the first zero. She insisted on calling the doctor whose office was then closed.This was on a Saturday and we wouldnt be able to contact the doctor again until Monday. She refused to refill the prescription, although placing a decimal in front of the first zero would result in a medication that didnt exist. She had no concern for the fact that my 86 year of father needed this medication ASAP and she couldnt have cared less. I took the prescription to CVS and had no problem getting it filled. I will do all I can to prevent any of my friends or relatives from ever going to Walgreens again.

Pharmacy is always closing before they are suppose to, tonite came thru 7mins before closing just to pick up an already filled rx and they purposely ignored me.

Standard Walgreens with ATM inside store along with pharmacy. Wide range of merchandise with some discounted stuff.

Awful customer service, rude pharmacist, will never go back. I wish I could rate lower than 1 star.
