Not a good experience here. I arrived and waited for about 15 minutes to let me know when they would be available or let alone even acknowledge me. A staff member with the name tag that said Ann was then available. The first thing she said instead of greeting me and asking how I was doing, was you have to have to wear a mask to be in here. The CDC and statewide announcement was made a week ago that masks are no longer mandatory. There were also no signs for masks on walmarts door nor the vision center door. Also, I do not mind being asked to wear a mask and will happily wear one if required but the way she said it was with a tone and very rude. I masked up and then we sat down to talk about ordering what I needed. Even after I had my mask on she was still very rude to me the whole time. I am not sure if she was just having a bad or was mad because I initially did not have a mask on.

Super helpful staff. They were responsive and replaced my glasses w/ frames within days.The glasses I purchased at Costco didnt scratch as easily, and the frames held up longer. Its probably my fault, as there is likely an upgrade to the lens I should have gotten.

When my contacts did not come on date due. The manager, Amy, checked and found my order was on back order. Not only did Amy fjnd out when my order would be delivered but she went to the doctors office and got a samplepair. I appreciate so much her kindness.

I havent received my glasses yet (scheduled for next week), but wanted to recommend the service here. I went in to see if they could repair or replace the arm (they couldnt), but were great about trying to help me. Also, helped me even though I was playing with frames and not ready to buy. Obviously, that paid off for them, because I went back. The manager, Amy, is very knowledgeable and tries to make sure you have just what you want and that it looks good.More to the story. I picked up my glasses and loved them, but Amy insisted on requesting another pair of lenses for one pair due to a tiny imperfection unapparent without her equipment. In the meantime, I used the imperfect ones until the replacements came in. I waited to finish the review, but both pairs of glasses including coatings have been great. And beautiful. I get so many compliments!

Courteous, skilled, knowledgeable and patient opticians in my 35+ years of experience having glasses. I appreciate the time and care I am given there, and especially grateful for not being rushed in and out like livestock.

I want to recognize Ann Work at the Christiansburg, VA Walmart Vision Center for doing an excellent job adjusting my glasses. She took extra time and effort to correct the problem I was having. My long time ophthalmology office was unsuccessful after multiple trips to them in the last six months. From now on I will be going to the Vision Center at Walmart. I did some shopping for about an hour afterwards and as I was leaving the checkout area Ann specifically came up to me to ask how I was doing with the adjustment.She is highly skilled, detailed, dedicated to her profession, and strives to provide complete customer satisfaction.Thank you Ann!Eva PinterChristiansburg, VA

Always excellent service I always get my prescription from the VA and then head to Walmart much better glasses and get them way quicker and NO glasses at the VA arent free.

I went in for an eye exam today. Dr. Poovey was the best. I dont know if anyone really enjoys an eye exam, but Dr. Poovey and his staff made the visit as pleasant and comfortable as possible. I would highly recommend.

Glasses from Walmart are a total waste of money. The coatings for anti glare & tint are so soft you can peel them right off with your fingernail. I took good care of them, just like several pairs of good glasses Ive had. Good glasses from an optometrist last me 3 years. The walmart glasses were scratched up in 4 months to the point I had to go get new ones. Go pay twice as much and the glasses will last 9 times as long.

Dr. Poovy is an excellent eye doctor. But Wal-Mart charges a ridiculous amount for glasses. $100 for each lenses and $114 for the frames. Thats too much.

I tried to get my family of 5 scheduled for exams. Three days in a row the phone call was answered, I was put on hold and left on hold for over twenty minutes at a time. The final time I called I told the woman answering the phone that I wasnt willing to be put on hold again and why. She told me that there was patients in there that have been waiting way longer than me in there and it was too bad I had to wait... A family of 5... Thats 5 patients that she turned away. 5 eye exams, 4 pair of glasses and at least 1 six month supply of contacts will now be visiting another eye doctor because of this woman. So very rude.

I bought my last couple pairs of glasses through here... they always have the best prices on good looking glasses!

Linda is rude as the day is long and not helpful at all. Strongly recommend anywhere else but there.
