Ive never had such an unprofessional or horrible experience with a doctor until I met Dr.Dhar. I originally went to see Dr.Dhar for treatment of a kidney stone and he delayed in turning the proper authorization to my insurance for the CAT scan; due to this delay the pain increased so much I couldnt wait any longer and rather than helping start treatment he told me to go to the ER, so I did and they did confirm I had a kidney stone with a CAT scan. The ER also said due to the size I had an 80% chance to pass it and I wouldnt need surgery. The ER prescribed me some pain meds and Flomax to help pass the stone, then instructed me to follow up with Dr.Dhar. I followed up with Dr.Dhar 4 days later to refill my pain medication and first he refuses to write any pain medication; and without any further inspection just tells me that I need surgery. Im understandably confused because I had just gone to the ER a couple days before and they were encouraging me to pass it because of the high probability it would pass from the size. After I started questioning the decision and requesting that he gives me at least a week before taking surgical action to see if I can pass it on my own, he starts getting upset with me, and very childishly tells me go ahead wait as long as you want I dont care and proceeds to keep arguing about the prescribing the medication while being incredibly rude. He eventually prescribes me a 5 day supply of pain meds, and the time went by with no stone passing, so I scheduled the surgery with him, but he cant do it for another week. Since, Im now running out of medication I reasonably requested he extend the medication until my surgery date because I cant sleep or even function due to the extreme pain. He again refused and told me to go to the ER if Im in that much pain again. Not everyone can afford to keep going to the ER to get a pain prescription every time, and now Im sitting here running out of medication with a full week to deal with the severe pain because of this doctors lack of skills in pain management. If you have or suspect you have a kidney stone please do yourself a favor and find another doctor.

Dr. dhar is not professional, and he doesnt give enough time nor listen, he act like he is smart and busy wanna finish with u quickly and go, he got paid already so why giving u time for ?If u visit him time twice u would get different answers for the same problem, and u may get no answer, he should go back to school.

Except for his superb medical performance; Dr. Louis also is very detail and considerate of his patients. More important, my problem has improved much than I expected. Thanks Dr. Louis!

I meet Dr. Louie at the hospital when I was in severe pain. Next moring I had a stent in place. Few days later had a an apt at his office. Staff was EXCELLENT I arrived early and was seen right away. Dr. Louie explained the next surgery i would have as well as answers to all my questions. Surgery was done few days ago. I was in and out of the hospital and doing well. Dr. Louie is an EXCELLENT Dr. He has great bed side manner and talks to u not down to u like other drs. If I ever have to have this procedure again I would have Dr. Louie perform the surgery.

This place is a scam/rip off. I had my first and only appointment with Dr. Louie that I waited 30 mins after my appointment time because he was running late. He rushed in literally spent less than 5 mins with me and was out the door. Got a bill for $375.00. What a scam.

Terrible waiting period.... 45min have passed after my dads appointment time and still waiting to be called in.

Dr. Louie is very thorough and helpful.

Waiting over 40 min to be seen. Not punctual on their appointments which I dont understand why we accept this type of service
