I have had Dr. Benton as my primary care doctor for 3 years. I do not go to the Dr often. The few times a year that I have gone to this office I have only seen the actual Dr once maybe twice. I always see the NP. Which is not so bad. Although it would be nice to have a doctor that gets to know you and you know him.The woman that answers the phone is very rude and not nice at all.I had Covid and before I knew what it was I called and made an appointment for my cough I received a call and was told my appointment was canceled and that I should get a Covid test. I did it was positive and I called to see if I could speak to my doctor for advise and possibly get a prescription for my cough. I was told that he does not deal with patients with Covid by this woman on the phone. I said what good does it do to have a primary doctor if he cannot help me when I need medical advise or medication. I said maybe I need to find a new doctor and she said thats fine with an attitude. At a time when I felt scared and uncertain where to turn I was rejected by the doctor and his office. No advice and absolutely no help. Felt very sad and disappointed. I dont feel that I can actually call him my doctor.I will be looking for a new doctor

Zero star if lit let me. I’m not sure how they staff being trained. First blood draw bruise in many years. And my wife was there there couple month ago, same result. I will travel farther to get better cares.

These 5 stars are for Dr. Benton. Ive been living in Chino Hills for almost 1 year. I always moved to a new place looking for a doctor near the house. I found Doctor Benton online, In the course of the year I had 3 or 4 appointments with him for different medical reasons. Dr. Benton has been successful in the treatments he has sent. He is also a Doctor who lets you talk and explain what is happening. His diagnosis is based on the symptoms expressed to him and when necessary exams the doctor also sends them. I brought my son to consult with Dr. Benton, I also perform the appropriate processes to provide medical support to the problems my son was presenting at the time. Dr. Benton is now my personal Doctor and that of my family. It is close to my house and it is nice to talk to the doctor, he is respectful and does not pretend to be the one who knows everything. In general, Dr. Benton is an excellent doctor, a kind person with an unforgettable charisma. I will continue with this Doctor until we move from town.As a recommendation to Dr Benton should improve the customer service of the office staff.

If I could give zero stars I would. Horrible front desk staff, they had a obviously miserable vibe from the minute I walked in. The one sitting on the left was unprofessional and rude. I went in the office and left within 5 minutes because she had the worst attitude over an immunization card. Don’t bother coming if you’d like to be treated with respect. No patient should be treated like they are a bother or inconvenience!!!

I was very surprised to see negative reviews on here. My family and I have gone to Dr Benton for about 5 years now and he is the first general practitioner I have ever stuck with. The office is friendly and professional and it is very easy to get an appointment .Dr. Benton always lets you talk, listens and doesn’t rush you out the door . He has diagnosed several ailments for our family and has no problem referring to specialists when necessary.We have had great experiences with the doctor and office!

Dr. Benton is very professional & thorough, but he is also one of the kindest doctors I’ve ever met. I’ve brought my children to him on short notice, & seen him myself, & even on those drop-in sickness visits when his time is probably constrained because he’s squeezed us in, he’s never less than sympathetic & interested—I’d say a big complaint with many doctors is that, skilled or not, they give off an air of being rushed or that you’re not particularly important to them. Not Dr. Benton. This doctor cares, and kindness goes a long way when you’re in the vulnerable position of having to ask for help. I recommend him whole-heartedly!

Dr. Benton is a great doctor who takes his time to work through any issue with thought, care and concern. He has been wonderful in his approach to solving every symptom that has been presented to him.His staff reflect the same professionalism I see demonstrated by him.

Moved & needed to choose Dr. in the area. Googled quite a few & this Dr. looked like a good option. Very disappointed to say I made a very bad choice. For now prefer not to mention all the negative experiences in the short time I was his patient. Only positive thing about this Dr. is you can get an appointment within a day or 2. Rather than continue in a bad situation I have chosen to find a new doctor

Incompetent office staff. It has taken 4 phone calls and I still have not received my sons test results. (I am assuming it won’t be coming by mail considering the girl I spoke to last was incredibly rude. Tall Caucasian with brown hair.) It took the pharmacist 2 phone calls to this office to get my medication corrected. My first phone call to the office I was told paperwork was sent to me on 1/31. By my 4th phone call I was told that paperwork was not sent out until 1/6. It is now 1/15 By this time the receptionist/nurse is frustrated with me because I am asking that it be re-mailed out to me. I have a feeling it was never mailed in the first place. If your office can not handle paper work for 3 patients, how are they handling paper work on the other hundreds of patients? Today is now 2/19...and nothing.When getting blood drawn for my children they had a nurse with no experience draw one child’s blood. She has another nurse watching over her who did nothing to help. My child was scared, this should have performed by someone with experience. My other child was too scared so we were sent to the lab (thank God!) (Again, tall Caucasian with brown hair)The next day I had my blood drawn by a more experienced nurse, but she was rude and unwilling to help me add allergy testing to my blood work. All she had to do was simply ask the dr for it to be added, she refused! As a patient, it is my right to ask for this testing to be done! (Hispanic girl)If you are looking for a quick Dr. visit and have no issues or concerns, this is your guy. If you are looking for a Dr. to look into any existing issues you may have, your best bet is to find a new Dr. I handed him paperwork from other Dr. and tried to explain some thing to which he disregarded and handed my paper work back.

I and my husband have been Dr Benton’s patient for a few years, he is very compassionate and ready to attend to our needs, he is particulary patient with us, ready to hear our complaints, and so far in every complaints he has ready solution. And I highly recommend him as a family doctor

First time here and had a great experience. Making the appointment is very easy you just call the number and let them know the date and time. If that date is booked they offer another date with the time you were looking for. Upon arrival I did have trouble finding the place BUT that was totally on me but it’s suite 110 in case you were wondering. Seating area is clean and has complimentary water bottle for you. There is an area for young children to play with the toys and books. Waiting chairs were comfortable.I had to fill out some paperwork it didn’t take long. Then the nurse does all the pre check before taking you to the room. Dr. Benton is super friendly and personable which is what I enjoyed about my visit. I had questions and I liked how he had answers! I know I have medi cal and sometimes people don’t treat you as well because you don’t have the better insurance. but this wasn’t the case with Dr.Benton he treated me as if I had PPO, I’m not kidding!!! I felt he really took the time to listen to my concerns and not rushing to get me out of there. Wish more doctors were like him to put the patient first! Also his nurse did a fantastic job at drawing my blood. I’m terrified of needles but I barely felt it, before I knew it we were done.

Dr. Benton is very professional. The office is very clean. I have no issue getting an appointment, and Im really happy with the level of service that I receive.

I never have to wait much longer than my appt time. And he has went out of his way to help me personally when my medication was denied by my insurance!
