Renee was very welcoming and more than willing to take on the challenge of my natural growth at an affordable price. An was with me having months of neglect!The establishment itself is very well kept and quaint. It has a great atmosphere and vibe. As a plus she plays really good cultural music! Its a must visit if youre looking for someone who can handle natural hair.Thank you so much for all that you do. In great appreciation of the Natural Taste.

My cousin was scheduled for an appointment with her. The mother even agreed to pay double for the inconvenience of working on her off-day. She did not show up, leaving a college student with no car standing outside her building, alone, because she did not honor her commitment and failed to communicate properly.

Rene was so skilled and efficient, and informative on what was to be done and care for future. Really eased my mind and soul entering into this new transition and journey. The hairdresser is absolutely amazing, for all ages. Ive never been able to find a NATURAL hairdresser whod be able to help with my own hair. Shes Wiling to answer any questions that you have. She specializes in natural hair & offers tips to bring it back to life & keep your hair healthy, depending on your hair type. Its a nice vibe/energy as soon as you walk in the shop, (very clean) so I knew I had found the right place!If youre having issues with your hair come in for a consultation appointment. You wont regret it.

First time at this natural hair salon it was an easy experience called that same day and Crystal was able to fit me in... she was timely, efficient, doesnt use harsh chemicals on your hair, affordable and worth every penny. Please go try this salon they do pretty much everything and you can get your eyebrows done here too as well as buy some home made hair products.

I had an appointment at 10am and I confirmed it yesterday to make sure she was still available. Showed up today and no one was at the salon so i waited outside for 20 minutes. No one ever showed up or called me to say they were late or to reschedule. I will never come back to this place.

Been going here for 13 years!!!! Love Kristol and Renee, always able to get me in for an apt even if it means they have to stay a little late. I did a huge chop to start but my natural hair has grow long and is stronger than ever...edges too. Would never go to anyone else, absolutely recommend 🥰

Very skilled hair dressers specializing in dreads and twists.

Terrible service. My stylist took many breaks to take personal calls on her cell or be with her baby that she let crawl around the salon during the less than an hour I needed for a wash, trim and blowdry (I didnt speak up about it, so it took much longer than that). Rushed my blowdry, so much so that another client watching the blowdry asked, Is that all youre doing for her? When I spoke up and asked her to blowdry a little longer (to lessen the frizz she thought Id be ok with), she held the dryer against my scalp and burned it.Not coming back. Dont recommend you come by either.
