I came in for a chronic cough. I was told I needed 2 surgical procedures. I was also given incorrect medicine for the issue at hand. The cough was not properly resolved.In fact, because I was recommended a surgical procedure, I went to another ENT and got a second opinion. That doctor told me that my cough was due to GERD, prescribed me omegaprezole, and the cough was gone in a week. He also checked my CT scan and found that absolutely no surgical procedure was necessary.Diagnoses was incorrect and wouldve increased billable to insurance at my expense, and not solved the issue at hand. As a guesture of goodwill, I called in several times asking for a credit for the $80 co-pay I paid (because I also had to pay another ENT), and was basically told they would send to collections if I didnt pay. Extremely shameful and stay away!
