Pro and Cons. The environment of the in patient units are nice. However, there were lots of bureaucracies. the staff members mostly are not professional, they dont know that they should treat patients with mental illness with patient and should be non judgmental and not take them personal about their behaviors. I have seen patients standing in front of the front desk for a long time and there was no employee there to help. No water from the Dinning hall(the water from the front desk looks and tastes strange) 24 hours and good luck to you to be assigned to a good doctor. A doctor on one weekend directly told me he doesnt know what a itchy stomach(side effect from medication) is and he doesnt care. I called my friend I met when I was there after I got discharged and they lied to me that she was discharged(she was still there) and then blocked my number. I lost my charging supplies and they had no intention to help me find it.

Save your money go to a psych ward that isnt training people. Otherwise youll just deal with hardhead students with egos the size of the moon. Also majority of nurses are selfish and careless. Youll be lucky if youre assigned one of the two nice/ work orriented nurses there. With all that said, be weary of the nurses going through your stuff without you present. They have a tendency of doing that. And they tend to never listen to patients because everyone in the psych ward is tooo insane. Smh.
