I went to Lora for the first time yesterday to experience my first Dermaplaning. The experience was great! Everything was explained in detail, and it’s quick and absolutely painless. My skin looks and feels AMAZING! I’ll be going back in a few days to have some other skin issues tended to. I highly recommend Lora!

Facial treatment was good and Lora educated me what to do/not do because of my sensitive skin. The treatment room is in the back of a fitness center, so you don’t get the whole spa vibe, but the facial itself made you forget :) I would return!

Lora is amazing. She has improved my skin so much that I just stopped getting special foundations made to hide the decades.

I usually dont give a one star unless someone pisses me off or did something not reasonable nor acceptable. This is my second time going to see Lora for a facial treatment. We made this second appointment which is on 8/26 at 11 am a month ago.When I arrived right on time this morning, I saw another customer was arriving and she told me her appointment was supposed to be at 10:15, but Lora told her to come back at 11:00. So we went in and Lora was very calm and expected to see both us. She looked at me and start to ask me, Cant you wait? Or come back at a later time. I simply could not because I had all the other stuff planned today and I do not think this is an acceptable response to push back my appointment because she messed up the schedule. Also, if she already knew that at 10:15 am she needed to push back another clients appointment, she could have called me at that time and ask me to come back at another time. At least that way, I dont need to waste time and effort to come right on time - But she did not.I was very frustrated so she started to ask me what she can do to help me feel better - I thought oh thats a very nice gesture, at least now you care about your customers. So I thought about it and asked her to give me a discount. Guess what she said back to me? She goes Oh lady, dont push me so hard Me:..... - Isnt giving a discount the most common way of making up the mistake you made??? So I told her I am not going to have the spa anymore, you are a ridiculous person and she was like Do you get any other options? OMG can you feel her arrogance now?Besides the fact that she is very rude (to me at least) and she doesnt respect her clients time, the spa environment sucks. She has a price of doing one facial of $300 marked on Groupon, but then through the deal its lowered to around $100-$120. Though Groupons deal price can be misleading, you would expect this place to be a decent spa place with all the good reviews on Yelp and Groupon. Nope - this spa is in a tiny room at the back of some sort of wellness recovery gym, which seemed very sketchy to me. I also dont think the door can be locked.I will say Lora gave me a decent first time spa and thats why I decided to go back (also because I have not been to many spa places in Chicago yet); however, I do not think its worth the price with this location/utilities and the fact that Lora has a really bad attitude because now I think about it, she did NOT apologize to me at all... and almost made me feel I was the one asking too much.
