Highly disappointed! $1300-1400 wasted! They don’t care about your results. They just make fool by promising great results showing those pictures of before and after. It’s all fake. Didn’t give any results for me. Just waste of money. I am not satisfied with the treatment for my acne pores and scars. The viva therapy actually helps reducing acne dark scars but not pores. My main problem was pores that look bad on my face but I find zero difference in pores. I suggest it for blemishes but if you are thinking all your acne pores and deformations of your skin will go away that is not going to happen.

Myrka was very professional from day one until my last session, which was 8 total sessions. She made me feel very comfortable. Was always greeted by the staffed. Loved the team. Definitely will go back.

I purchased the Venus Legacy -treat to complete package, which cost me thousands of dollars. The director that sold me this package assured me that I would see great results. I didnt. As I was going through the treatment, I continually asked, when will I start seeing results. The techs would say that it takes a few months before you see results. When I met with the director after the treatments were complete, we still didnt see much of a change (just a little in the back area). We discussed next steps and other possible treatments to help get the results I desired. Then Covid hit and everything was shut down. When things opened back up, I started contacting them again. I was given the run around for months. I would talk to the new director for a while, then I was handed of to someone else, then someone in the corporate office that was in their office spoke to me and told me she would get back to me (I never heard from her again, then the assistant director spoke to me, then my case was turned over to corporate (I was told by someone in the Water tower office), but they had no number for corporate. She told me someone from corporate would call within the week. I asked, if they dont then who should I call? She said, I guess you will have to call here. Which made no sense to me. Needless to say, I didnt hear from anyone. So I called the office again. This time they gave me a number for the corporate office. Ive been calling that number and leaving them messages. No one answers and no one calls back. So, I called the Water tower office again and spoke to the assistant director. I tell her about all the conversations Ive had and the run around that I have experienced over several months. I wanted her to call corporate and let me speak to someone. She called me a liar and asked why do I want to speak to corporate? They are just going to tell you the same thing I’m telling you.Some of the treatment sessions were enjoyable and relaxing and most of the employees were very nice, but Venus Legacy was not worth the money I paid and did not deliver the results I was promised. I definitely did not deserve the treatment I received from the management of this company. They took my money, didn’t deliver, made promises and are not honoring them.

I love getting services from LightRx. The team is supper professional and friendly. Their office is extremely clean and addresses all the safety concerns regarding Covid-19.They offer high quality services and their customer service is always really to take care of my concerns. Im really happy with everything Ive gotten from this LightRx location. Everybody there is super friendly and helpful, and make me feel like they genuinely care about me. They are also good allies. Having gone there for hair removal for my transition, I have never been misgendered by any of them in the 20+ hours Ive spent getting treatments so far. I cant speak for every LightRx, but this location is extremely LGBT friendly.

I made an appointment for consultation at 10am and the mall didn’t open until 11am. When trying to explain that i had no access to the building or no knowledge of any other entrances she told me i can’t be seen because i was late smh very unprofessional

Not worth the money. I had 5 appointment left . Stopped at 5/10 treatment . The manager that sold me the lipo treatment insisted that I was going to lose 25% percent fat. The current manager told me that I was given the wrong treatment in her own words “ she stated that the lipo does not work and you see little to no difference.I was told I couldn’t get the money that I had already paid even though I was given the lipo not venus Legacy.They don’t care about their customers !update its been a week 5-10-2021 and I still havent received callUpdate 6-1-2021 and I still haven’t received a call !Update 6-25-2021 and still no call

I purchased the Venus viva facial (6 treatments) for several thousand dollars, and the manager that sold this treatment to me insisted that my acne scarring would no longer be visible after this treatment. I have scarring on my cheeks. And 6 sessions later, my acne scarring has faded slightly but is still very visible.This treatment for scarring is not at all worth the price tag, and does not deliver the results that LightRx employees promised.The employees are very nice, so the experience was enjoyable, but unfortunately, I didn’t get the expected results.

The first couple times were fine but after that it went downhill.I called several times and left voicemails to reschedule a previous appointment, never received any calls back so I texted the number and they responded after I sent several messages. They gave me a date and time and the day I get there they say we don’t have you on the schedule and told me they could squeeze me in as if it’s my fault. Had me waiting for 30 min which I left and rescheduled again.I come in today and my appointment was set for 1:15 they had me waiting for 35 min. I asked them what’s the problem why am I waiting, I was told my appointment is for 1:30 (which is wasn’t I have the email and text confirmation) but still why did they have me waiting all this time with no one communicating anything.I still have sessions left and do not want to return.

This is my first time doing laser lipo and Ive only had 3 sessions.I had initially purchase the 8 sessions from Groupon so its too soon to tell if this specific treatment really works. To my understanding, the procedure is 20 minutes with up to 10 minutes of prep. After each session you are to get in at least 30 minutes of cardio and drink the daily amount of water that you should be drinking and maintain a healthy diet.So far, I dont see a difference but Im not discouraged to go back. I still plan to complete my sessions. Please keep in mind, this type of laser lipo is only to give your diet goals a kickstart and not to remove inches from your waistline. My reasons for the 4 stars is based on my lovely experience with the staff, especially Madeline and Erica, who were attenuative and answered all my questions. I was comfortable in their presence and they were easy to talk to. Making appointments for my next session was simple and I didnt get any push back or last minute cancelations. In fact, they sent me reminders before each of my sessions.

Everyone was so nice and welcoming. I felt safe and comfortable. I would highly recommend this place and look forward to coming back for more sessions in the future.

It is really clean, which makes for a comfortable experience. The technicians are super nice. The only reason I gave 3 instead of 5 stars is the scheduling process needs some tuning. Example: I was sick night before me appointment so I called to leave VM and sent an email to cancel for protocol. I never heard a response and they deducted one of my pre-paid sessions and that was like, thanks for keeping us safe but we are still taking your session. I guess this is still life during COVID

All I have to say is Pure Medical Spa. They are down the street from light rx watertower and thé don’t over charge you I paid a third of the price light rx charged me for viva and laser hair removal. They inflate their charges. I felt taken advantage of by Light Rx after getting great pricing and service from Pure Medical Spa.

My first 2 sessions was amazing. I had a technician who was attentive, knew what she was doing and was polite. Once I came back for my other session, I didnt realize that she left that facility and I had someone else it went down hill from there! This other person, didnt put the plates on me correctly. Didnt have it on the correct settings and didnt over water. I figured maybe it was a bad day, so I went again, and it was the same awful service! This time the receptionist was being rude. I was done. I still have at least 1 or 2 service left, but Ill pass.

I had Venus Legacy and Venus Viva packages. The Viva alone was terrific results on just my first session. I purchased 6 in total. I’ve had Halo resurfacing in the past but this got great results, more tightening and no down time. The place itself has some of the kindest and most attentive people working there, definitely a level of service and care that I don’t see often. Great follow up. Best value. I don’t write reviews often but this place exceeded my expectations.

I went in for my 3rd laser treatment and have consistently been met with professional and friendly staff. The facility is very clean and the staff are taking great precautions and following cdc guidelines to keep clients and staff safe and healthy.

I am extremely impressed with LightRx. I previously received laser hair removal treatments from another location in Lincoln Park. After I saw the excellent Groupon price, I set up a consultation with LightRx and scheduled that same week. The technician was so professional and nice, and the laser they use is a lot less painful than other locations Ive been to. I highly recommend Light Rx for all laser hair removal.

There are no appointments for weeks, sometimes more than a month .. every time I call them, someone says they’ll call me back. Nobody ever calls me back. When I call them back, they again say they’ll call me back. I asked for a specific date or time .. 1 day , 2 days , 3 days, 1 week, a month.. and all I was told repeatedly is “ my director is extremelyyyy busy and will get back to you at the earliest because she has a lot of clients”. I am also a client and this isn’t the first time I’ve been calling. If I don’t get appointments for a month and a half how am I supposed to see results and what is the point of paying so much money? More than half my sessions are still left.

I am not satisfied with the services, I paid thousand dollars but didnt see any difference on my abdomen ,also I dont know how they calculated my visit I still have remaining visit but their staff says I am done with all of my treatments which is not fair ...even though their corporate manager gave me 5 extra legacy treatments but their staff is saying my legacies are adjusted with my bliss legacy(which they gave me complementary) and I am done with treatments which is totally unfair ..they took a lot of money and I left behind with only 10% results...

I spent a lot of time and money at this place. The cellulite reduction treatment gave me some great results, but the Viva treatment - the stretch marks reduction - brought me zero results. They persuaded me and promised me a BIG improvement of my skin for about $1000, and eventually I got zero results!!! They took before and after pictures of the focused area in different rooms with bright and then low lightening, and called it as an improvement. I am giving 2 stars, even though I am happy with the first treatment, but I hate giving out $1000 for NOTHING!!!

I am very disappointed! I was told I would see results after my third of ten treatments! My service was to tightened the skin under my chin...My skin sags more after the treatments. The staff was very nice. However, I complained a couple times! Twice from my skin having minor burns. I was told they would get back with me but never did. In addition, I was offered 10% off of my next service (a new service) because of my not being happy with my previous service. WHY WOULD I PAY THEM MORE MONEY! This is/was my experience😢

I called and left a voicemail during the day on Friday, August 14th and asked to reschedule my appointment because I had heard that the bridges were going up over the weekend and I would have to travel into the city the day of my appointment. Six days later and I still havent heard from anyone.

This place is very disappointing. I wish I had never spent my money here. First of all I found a groupon for the service that I wanted but I was told not to purchase the groupon to come in for my free consultation first and the manager(Elyshia) would give me the groupon price, however she just wanted to sell me a service that I did not need and the worst part is she didnt give me all of my sessions for either of my services. She tried to convince me that I was only suppose to get 8 sessions however, in my consultation she told me I would get 10 sessions. And on top of that she tried to sell me even more sessions for a much higher price. This place is very disappointing and I do recommend them to any one. The manager here(Elyshia ) is only interested in making A QUICK BUCK she does not care about the quality of the services they offer she only care about how much money she can get out of you. Do not go to this place she is only interested in selling you services you do not need so she can make more money off of you. She needs to invest in some quality customer service skills because her attitude is nasty once she get your money her attitude towards you changes to a very nasty I do care how you feel attitude.

I have the worst experience. Worst customer service, they burnt my skin and when asked for refund, they kept delaying and the director called me and promised me that she will refund. Kept telling me the same for 2 months and now telling me that the company is bought by other company. Such a bad clinic, very bad. They spoke sweetly on the first day, once they got the money, showing their true colors. They attract people with discount packages, but believe that. They give worst service.

I was aware of the overall LightRX company reviews/backlash when I looked them up but decided to purchase LHR anyways because the price was right and the Chicago location had good reviews! Upon arrival for my consult, Elyshia the location director greeted me and gave me the paperwork to fill out. She was incredibly friendly and sweet! They had an opening that evening and I was even able to squeeze in my first session right after my consult! Kylie administered my treatment and the laser was very smooth and not painful at all! I hope the results turn out as expected and I am looking forward to my next session. They definitely care about customer service at this location! I would recommend this!

I requested my money back and I was able to speak with the director Alysian and explained to her my frustration so I asked her for a reimbursement, she explained that she was going to summit it throught the main office . I am in the middle of laser hair removal treatment at Light Rx. First of all, the customer service is awesome. Over my multiple sessions, I feel like the girls have become my friends- they are all very personable and most importantly they make me feel comfortable (even when Im showing my most unflattering parts!). As a curious person, I ask ton of questions, and they never fail to suprise with the wealth of information they share on all the lasers they use, the technicalities of all the procedures they perform and everything else from skincare to weightloss. Lastly, my hair has stopped growing for the most part on the areas Ive had treated, with a few sessions left to go. Im confident Ill be able to throw away my razors when my sessions are over. I would recommend light Rx to anyone.

There’s no parking so be prepared to pay an additional $40 to $60 for parking, just for a consultation. Good price for %70 off deals, but without the deal ur better off paying a real doctor for actual lipo.

Reason for this star:They closed down the Madison Light Rx location. I bought a package to do hair removal and without being notified or anything they closed down the loacation. The nearest location is in Milwaukee over 2 hours away from me... I’m not going to drive over 2 hours to get treatment that I haven’t even started! If I would have known they were going to close down I wouldnt have puchased anything there.During this time I’ve called and called about a refund... and this is how I truly feel about this situation:Light Rx has some of the worst customer service Ive ever experienced. I know Im not the only one experiencing this. They said they would refund me, then Ive gotten nothing. Called them again and even left messages over and over again. Nothing. They wont send me my money. They will make excuses that the director will call me back. Then the director will get let go and they hire a new one about every month or so. Ive gotten nothing from any director even though I was told I would be called. I have been ran in circles with these people for months (over 6 months). This is awful. Im hopeless at this point and hoping that they will stay true to their word and send me my money back. Im not happy with the run around, phone tag and not responding. I would not recommend going here. If you have to stop treatment for any reason, medical or not, good luck...

Incredible. I would not ordinarily try anything like this, but after my consultation, and three IPL treatments I cannot BELIEVE THE DIFFERENCE!! I look younger than I did 8 years ago if thats possible. I got used to the feeling of the light pulses after the first visit. They can adjust the intensity of the light pulses based on your individual skin profile. Shae helped me with the utmost professionalism, was great about explaining the process, and even gave me tips on how to maintain a more thorough and consistent skincare regimen. Ill definitely be back for more treatments! If youre on the fence about trying one of these treatments, go and see the lovely people at Light RX watertower for a consultation. You wont regret it!

Dolly Dana and Audrey Guthrie have been amazing to work with, they gave me many different options of achieving my final results and we picked a plan that was perfect for my body type. I strongly recommend women late 30’s to early 40’s with a little stubborn fat around the mid-section to get (2) sessions of the SculpSure, you will love it.
