I went in for a wax over the weekend and the experience was great! I had an appointment with Eddy, he greeted me at the door and took me straight to the room. The waxing was pretty painless. He was really nice and offered good conversation to pass the time as he did his thing. He worked quickly and efficiently. I left with my skin feeling extra smooth and great. I recommend anyone looking for services to check them out.

The salon is a small but beautifully appointed room in a shared 2nd floor space.Eddie could not have been more engaging and professional as he analyzed what my skin needed and provided multiple treatments in a session that lasted two hours. As various facial potions were working their magic, I received a delightful neck, shoulder and arm massage.Eddies knowledge, credentials and experience make me very comfortable trusting him to make the right choices to help revitalize my skin and he absolutely charming demeanor makes you feel like youre hanging out with a best friend.Beyond the care and quality of the treatments, I literally gasped at the end of the appointment when I was told the total (okay, a first time visit I received a discount). Even without the discount, the normal cost of the services I received was incredibly modest and far less than I would have expected. Eddie explained one of his goals is making skincare affordable and he does.Do not hesitate, treat yourself to a visit. Your skin will thank you!

I have been getting facials & microdermabrasion @ Skin Care for Gents for over a year now and this is the best place, for MEN, in Chicago!!!!! Eddie is well knowledgeable and talented on skin care for men; especially for men of color.…Highly recommend!!!

I stopped in last week to enjoy a drink after a long day from bookmarking this cocktail bar on an earlier visit to San Fran. Great atmosphere, great music and super tasty cocktails too. I chose the Long Goodbye and enjoyed every last sip...the bartender didnt lead me wrong when I told her I wanted something a little sweet.

Eddy is the best. Got the downstairs on fleek.
