This was our pups first true cut and Kelly followed my go-by pics beautifully. My Whoodle looks more like a Wheaten, less like a poodle--just the way I requested. Well be back in 4-6 weeks! Thanks for making his first experience so positive.

Truly the best day care facility ever. Carmen is AMAAAAZING!! I hope PCP knows what a gem she is. I’ve never seen my pup Oliver connect with another person like he has with her. She is incredibly kind and truly cares about the doggos.I’ve had just wonderful experiences with all the other staff too. Grooming services have been great as well. The fact that they have web cams so we can check on Ollie is just awesome. I’ve never utilized the boarding but the pricing is great and they offer a lot of options.Would recommend PCP 100000x over!

Our 5 month old cavapoo CJ had his first ever grooming today with Summer. The entire staff was friendly and professional and our pup seemed very comfortable with them upon picking him up! Summer did an incredible job with the grooming and bath, giving him a very nice teddy bear look. We will definitely be back, highly recommend Pet Care Plus!

Pet Care Plus was great! Drop off and pickup was easy, even when before or after hours.When your dog is excited to be dropped off when you pull down the street, you know they are having a great experience. She even would be super excited when we passed staff walking on the street, which makes a dog owner feel like their pet is being taken care of.

Pet Care Plus has been a real boon for us as first-time dog owners. The staff seem to genuinely love working with animals and our dog is always thrilled to head to daycare. She even enjoys grooming appointments, which is in stark contrast to her at-home baths. The service is amazing and we would recommend this option to anyone with pets.

They are the absolute best! The facility is nice and clean, the staff is incredibly friendly and takes such great care of my fur baby! Each dog has to pass an assessment day which makes me feel comfortable about the safety of my dog. You can watch each play area live, so you can see exactly what is going on! You can tell they care about each dog and the cleanings of the facility. 11/10 for sure!

This place is GREAT! I was looking for a new groomer. I moved to Chicago less than 2 years ago and have tried many different places since moving here. Nola has come home with cuts, nicks, irritated skin, sore paws, and even what looked like a bruise. She’s always terrified when I pick her up. I decided to try Pet Care Plus and am so happy that I did. Nola is happy, not at all anxious, and looks beautiful. Gina really knows what she’s doing. Thank you, thank you, many times THANK YOU!!

Pet Care Plus did an absolutely amazing job with my 88 pounds of fluff, Frank. He sheds like crazy and after just one de-shedding treatment and bath I can noticeably see a difference. He was so soft and fluffy when they were done with him. Not only was I super happy with the end result, they were so reasonably priced! We will definitely be back.

I have used Pet Care Plus for a long time. Had to buy another one recently because the dog I adopted was very small and needed small collar/tag. Tags last forever and have never come off. Much better than hanging tags, especially for small pets.

These two love to be home but their second favorite place is at Pet Care Plus where the staff know all their favorite friends and make sure to keep these two busy and the happiest. Luna and Emmi rush to the door to get into daycare - for the lazy white one its the most excited I see her that doesnt involve a treat or a meal:) Thank you PCP we love knowing our pups are loved and cared for, your staff is wonderful and clearly our dogs dont miss us at all when they are busy playing at PCP! Called for a tour and was told that they were too busy on weekends. Sounds like they are understaffed if one person is not available to take you on a tour. The person on the phone sounded busy and rushed. I would not want my pet in a hurried and hectic environment.

This is our second tag but only because we moved. We have the open style and it is easy to get onto the collar without any fear of it popping off. Solid quality, made to last.

Ive been looking for a new boarding option, as our previous option closed, and our back-up dog sitter is not currently doing in-home dog sitting due to COVID. On short notice, I needed to travel out of town for a funeral. I liked PCP b/c of the 24/7 care, flexible pick-up / drop off hours and temperament testing process. My two pups are pretty different and given the covid situation, have not been boarded in some time, so I was a bit uncertain how they would handle it. Of course, my prediction of what would happen is not what happened... ;) The dog I thought would be totally comfortable with the team was the one that was not! That said, I was impressed by the PCP team and how they handled / managed the situation to make it work. Im hopeful my pups get more comfortable over time, because I really liked the PCP experience and was impressed by the knowledge of the team and their flexibility. Also worth noting, given my last minute need, the team was also super helpful helpful getting my paperwork and vaccinations in. Thank you!

Turk LOVES going to Pet Care Plus! His tail wags with excitement when we pull up and he practically drags me in the door! I love that everyone knows us and welcomes us! Turk seems to really love all the staff there. He always goes up to all of them with excitement! I love being able to pop online and watch him playing. The staff is always either engaging with the dogs or cleaning! I also love the pool area! Turk loves water and seems to really enjoy that time!

My dog, Riley, looks and smells amazing after her grooming today! The staff was so sweet and gave Riley lots of love. So thankful to have found a great groomer in Chicago!

We visited as a possible place to board our dog. Maureen was terrific. This facility was clean, very accommodating and seems well managed.

We have been taking our dogs to Pet Care Plus for about 6 years now - they are the best! We have 2 high energy dogs that need one on one play with their staff instead of group play with other dogs. Group play is great too but we stick with what works for our dogs’ personalities. When we board them, our pups get to share the same suite. They love the pool. Their staff really gives us peace of mind so we can enjoy time away without having to worry about the safety and care of our dogs.

This was the first time boarding our dog and it was her first time away from home and away from us for a long period of time. Petcare Plus did an amazing job taking care of her! First off, the services available are very accommodating. Having the ability to choose from the packages available (which start at a very convenient choice) and just being able to upgrade from there is something that is very unique! I really enjoyed seeing all the perks one can add to make your pups stay more comfortable. What I wanted most from the facility were updates on our dogs stay to put my concerns at ease. I absolutely am thankful not only for the ability to see the webcam of the play area and her suite, but also receiving the daily personal updates and photos. My husband and I looked forward to seeing those daily while we were away and we found ourselves absolutely happy knowing that she was having the time of her life and was showing that to all the staff! I couldnt ask for a better facility, services and staff that is Petcare Plus. They are amazing and we thank them so very much for everything that was done for us!! Thank you Petcare Plus!!!!!

I’ve tried a lot of places in the area for boarding. This one is my far the best. They always go above and beyond and they have great customer service. I love watching my dog on their playroom cameras and receiving their report cards.

We love Pet Care Plus! We take our yellow lab here for both daycare and boarding and have had nothing but great experiences. The staff is very welcoming and excited to see him, and our dog is always excited to go which I think speaks for itself. Their doggy pool is a great added bonus and we always take advantage of this perk.

Five stars hands down. After a few disasters at other groomers, we found PCP via a recommendation from a neighbor. Truly a god send for, our little Charlie (Cockapoo) , loves getting his monthly beauty treatment no more matting, tangles or bad hair days!!!

This is the best daycare and boarding facility in the city! It is super clean, they offer so many services and they even have a pet taxi for pick up and drop off.The strand is incredible with the dogs! There are cameras in the daycare area to watch your puppy while you’re away.They have a doggy pool and all kinds of special treats that you can get while boarding.

I found Pet Care Plus through another dog owner. I’m glad I checked them out and found a great place for daycare & grooming for my dog Cash. They have a great outdoor pool that my dog loves in the summer time. They also have another outdoor area for the dogs and several indoor areas for the dogs. The staff is great and they always remember the dogs names. Very friendly & professional. They also took extra measures during the early stages of Covid and made it safe for everyone. Ive been sending my dog to Pet Care Plus for daycare, boarding and grooming since he was a puppy and I cant recommend it highly enough. He doesnt do well in crates and their grooming is perfect for him because he can go back to daycare after hes done instead of sitting in a crate waiting to be picked up. The staff is incredibly friendly and theyre very flexible. I can always adjust dates and times for things and I receive updates on his day when I pick him up. I trust that hes in good hands when hes there and he comes home happy and tired!

Pet Care Plus is our one stop shop for our dogs. They are experienced with all dog breeds and their groomers are amazing! Its comforting that all dogs must go through a temperament assessment before theyre introduced to their first day of daycare. Plus the daycare hangover is real because of all the fun the pups have.

I truly cannot say enough good things about Pet Care Place. I have been a client for 6 years and will remain a client for life. They treat the dogs like family and when my pup, Cricket, was diagnosed with end stage heart failure and could no longer attend daycare regularly they didnt bat an eye at working with us to find way to use our remaining daycare package so we didnt lose the money. We still take Cricket in regularly for their incredible grooming services (shes 11.5yo but youd think she was a puppy the way she perks up as soon as she sees the building) and I have every intention of utilizing their daycares services again once we get a new puppy. I have recommended Pet Care Plus to everyone I know who has a dog. They are the real deal.

Pet Care Plus is the best doggie daycare in town!I send my frenchie for daycare several days each week and it has now become her home away from home. The staff takes pride in what they do and are truly incredible with the dogs and care for them as if they were their own pets. The facilities are fantastic and they have different play areas to accommodate dogs of all sizes, as well as a pool if your dog likes to swim! Another bonus is the taxi service they provide which has been a life saver.We love this place and will continue to send our little fur baby here!

This is the best dog daycare in downtown Chicago. How do I know? Because I’ve tried pretty much all of them! The whole Pet Care Plus team is amazing, super professional, and LOVES the dogs. They offer services that other daycares don’t, like pet taxi, pool passes, food delivery, camera access, all sorts of grooming, meal plans, unique boarding options, and more! I’ve also been able to rent out their space (specifically the pool) for private party! All of this at a super affordable rate, it’s a no brainer.

We had such a great experience with them over this past week. It was the first time we have boarded our pup who is about a year and a half, and we were extremely nervous. They sent us detailed updates about our little guy on the first day, and responded right away to another email when we checked in to see how he was doing. The cameras allowed us to watch him play each day and gave us such peace of mind that he was in good hands. Staff was super friendly, thorough, and clearly dog lovers. We will definitely be back soon!

I have nothing but praise of this place. The customer service is top notch, and the services they provide (grooming, daycare, boarding walks, pet taxi, training) are all stellar. I recently found out that at Pet Care Plus, they have a trainer on site and can train your dog while they are at daycare. Working with Jamie, their trainer, was one of the best decisions we made. Our dog is deathly afraid of skateboards, and Jamie was able to work with him slowly in desensitizing him to the sound and motion of the skateboard. While we only had a few sessions with her, I know that shes the real deal since my dog no longer tries to run away at the first sound of a skateboard (which usually occurs a few blocks away). If you ever need a quick training session for any reason, I highly recommend Jamie, and the rest of Pet Care Plus for all of their services.

My sisters dog is kind of a monster when you walk him, especially when he encounters other dogs and strangers. However, hes been going here for a few years and when she goes out of town, I come in and often spends nights with him, but drop him off during the day. The times Ive dropped him for overnight stays, hes also excited, seeing his to go bag heading out the door. I know hes watched on camera, at night, by my sis when hes there, just to make sure hes doing ok.The dog loves this place, he gets excited when he gets to go and is not a monster at all to other dogs and the staff. I watch the cameras while waiting for him, theres 3 or 4 rooms, which is cool, because theres always someone in the rooms supervising the dogs. Theres appropriate weights grouped together and all the dogs seem to be chill and doing their own thing together. Sometimes theres some very large dogs that are by themselves, but usually at the very end of the day.The staff has always been friendly, know him by his name, and its gotten that the four or five times I come in during the year they know who Im there for to pick up. Ive never waited more than a few minutes to retrieve him, which, I kind of wish itd take more time so I could make some of the free coffee for myself. :)Ive been repeatedly impressed, especially because of the kind of dog he is, just, unfriendly, but when he gets here, he feels safe, knows the employees, and has an appropriate place in the pack. Its also a plus that he then sleeps for two days after hanging out here. Again, continuously impressed.

After struggling to keep up with my very energetic, never tiring, year and a half German Shepherd; I finally decided on having him go to day care at Pet Care Plus. What a great decision I made! I bring him home and he is exhausted!The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, they seem to know all their customers which makes it feel like you’re leaving them with family/friends. Great grooming. Its a little pricey at $68 for our 16 lb dog, but he was very happy and impeccably groomed. The grooming facilities are upscale. Im sure my dog felt very pampered.

My dog and I have been clients of Pet Care Plus for years. Their customer service with day care, boarding and grooming is impeccable. Several months ago, they really went above and beyond and became a true life saver to me. My dog of 7 years (my 1st child, if you will), became aggressive to my toddler child. It was the worst experience of my life to date. PCP let me bring my dog in without advance notice, and allowed her to stay with them until I was able to figure out what to do next. They were out of this world supportive of me and the decisions I had to make. They allowed me to come visit my little girl while she stayed with them as I was unable to bring her back home. They were a shoulder to cry on, and helped to counsel me while I weighed my options. However, the most incredible part was that they helped me to find a foster home (without children) for my 4 legged child. I will forever be indebted to the Owner and Staff of Pet Care Plus for making what was an absolute hellacious experience, a little less traumatic. Thank you!

My biggest problem with this place is that for some reason, my dog reeked of urging when I went to pick her up. I know dogs can be a little smelly after boarding, but I’ve never experienced anything this bad. My dog is a rescue and she didn’t even smell this bad when we took her home for the first time. I had to give her a bath as soon as we got home. Just what I wanted after traveling.In addition I feel like they bait and switch you on pricing. I made the reservation online and was given a price quote of $180. When I went to pick her ip, the fee was $255. I had selected individual play for my dog from the start. I don’t understand why there was such a big price difference. In addition, they requested I fill out a credit card authorization. I submitted the form along with my dog’s medical records. When my boyfriend went to drop off my dog, they stated they didn’t have a credit card on file. They then insisted he give them his card and they ran the deposit. When I returned to pick up my dog, and I mentioned the error, they never apologized for the mistake and stated it would take 3-5 business days for the funds to be returned to my boyfriend’s card.I won’t be utilizing their services in the future and I recommend you don’t either.

I contacted Pet Care Plus regarding training for our rescue dog, Loki. He had a rocky past and was in need of a lot of polish so he could truly shine. He had a good grasp of basic commands, but was never socialized (people or dogs), is stubborn, anxious, and has a bit of OCD from being left alone 10-12 hours per day and fixating on his toys. Their trainer, Jamie came to us ready to work, and I was ready to work with her. Loki is very clever and picked up things from her quickly. I was able to reinforce them through practice during the week, and on her next visit we would move on. I used to have to walk my dog wearing gloves because he would pull so hard on the leash it cut my hands. Now he walks nicely, even past the houses with the other dogs, and will let people pet him on walks! It was hard to have people over because Loki wanted to guard the door, and she worked on that as well. Jamie also suggested a stay and train visit for him. I honestly did not think shed get him into a group play session because Loki is so anxious around other dogs, but she did! And he learned to play. Awkwardly, at first, but he did it. I now have the confidence to introduce him to the other dogs in my family, can walk him without gloves, and can have people over to my house without them fearing my big barking Doberman. I dont know what we would have done without Jamie and Pet Care Plus. Our rough and tumble rescue pup now knows how to be a proper dog. Im so grateful for all her hard work and patience. She is amazing, and works miracles.

We did a Board and train at Per Care Plus over spring break and our 6 month old puppy had a great stay. Although it was a busy boarding week there, he adjusted ok. And he received great training with Jamie. Learned a lot in just a few days and we’ve been able to apply his training at home. The facility is clean, there are a variety of boarding packages for your dog, you can call or email for updates and they are overall great with dogs. Will definitely board with them again in the future. And highly recommend training with Jamie!

Used to love Pet Care Plus unfortunately I will be taking my pup someplace else. They decided to basically screw the regular customers for Saturday Daycare to accommodate Boarding for Christmas. I guess they dont care that the regular users of their services probably are the ones that keep the doors open.

Im a veterinarian who had to go to a trip to Africa and do some work at several shelters and had my sister bring my dog here last minute, she notified me that the staff was super friendly and helpful! My dog was a bit smelly but what can you expect in a dog daycare haha. after all, im used to it. Thanks to the staff for the hard work they put in every day. I was a kennel attendant in my teens and it can be a messy and fun job so I truly appreciate it :)

I have been taking my dog Riley to Pet Care Plus for nearly a year, and I am forever indebted to their daycare program and staff. Just recently, Riley took a training session with PCP’s trainer, Jamie, and I have already noticed some major behavior improvements (less jumping, in particular). Because I went through PCP, Jamie was able to communicate our training goals with the daycare handlers, further reinforcing the work we did. Jamie was even kind enough to help me off the clock when Riley randomly developed a strange phobia of cars, giving me some helpful tips and tricks that, with some patience and practice, worked.As for the rest of PCP staff, they love and treat Riley as if she was their own dog. She leaves daycare exhausted and has improved with her play and socialization. I highly recommend PCP and Jamie’s training services to anyone!

This review is specifically for an employee of Pet Care Plus by the name of JENNIFER. Instead of JENNIFER taking the time to appropriately address a blatant misunderstanding, She called to tell me how me and my pet were not good fits for the establishment. As a client who has used their services before I was appalled and disgusted that she labeled me as unfit for service and called me a liar. RUDE would be an extreme understatement for the description of this individual. After I cleared the misunderstanding with my vet, I called Jennifer to alert her that this was a misunderstanding. While I was talking she yelled at me and spoke over me. I dont think this is ANY WAY to treat ANY ONE who is looking to obtain a service ANYWHERE. As a professional (M.D.), who works with people seeking services on a daily basis, I know first hand this was an example of POOR customer service.I advise anyone considering Pet Care Plus to make sure you are as fit of a client as possible. What does that mean?? Who knows. As a physician and a person of integrity, if I dont fit the bill then go figure.

Too many dogs put in one room for daycare. All you hear is the employees yelling left and right every dogs name to try and “control” them but that just seems like a stressful situation for the dog. The lobby area is super fancy but maybe the money used to make that fancy front desk area should’ve been used to create more adequately sized rooms for daycare with adequate staff. 30+ dogs in one room sounds ridiculous to me. Save your dog the stress. & no, I am not confused with the facility @petcareplus I know very well which facility I’m talking about and it’s yours.

I have been with Petcare plus since their first facility. They are my current dogs “other family” if i am at work; or boarding while on vacation! They truly enable me to own a difficult cattle dog in the heart of the city.There is no better care for your dog bar none!

Weve been working with Jamie on training our dog, Finnegan, and we are SO happy with the progress made so far! Its safe to say Finnegan is not an easy dog and my boyfriend and I were stumped on what to do. We reached out to pet care plus (where he gets groomed, shoutout to Miriam for amazing haircuts!!) on training options. Jamie came to our house and was able to quickly make plans and ideas on how to help and curb his poor behavior. We just finished our 4th session and can already tell a huge difference with him. She is so educated, understands why he does what he does and is able to make great recommendations on what to do. Shes always there to step in and help during sessions when needed. She checks in on progress and is able to make changes when she sees something isnt working. I HIGHLY recommend working with Jamie and the rest of the Pet Care Plus team, you wont be disappointed!

Worst pet care company I have ever come across. They find reasons to charge you for everything, increase their prices without informing you and then direct you to their UPDATED website saying see the price is listed here. Why would I check your website for the price when no one told me it had changed. Theyve also mixed up my invoices and it took 4 un-returned phone calls, multiple emails, and three very frustrating days to finally get it straightened out. Last, they try to up-sell you on everything. The only thing this company cares about is money. Not your pet, not their customers. I highly suggest you find somewhere else if youre looking for a long term pet care facility.***Note: This is for their transport and dog walking services***
