Do not send your family member here. After 20 minutes they will change a ten year diagnosis and take all meds away. Then send your family member home in worse condition then when they got there. Now said family member is homeless and more suicidal then when he went there. Thanks Illinois Masonic! Glad you were so confident in taking away all the meds it took years to get right!!

I was able to get an intake appointment relatively quickly and then an appointment with the primary therapist I was assigned. Everything went smoothly, from the receptionists, insurance, billing, therapy appointments, suggestions for groups, case management for community services. The entire Advocate Behavioral Health Program helps with every aspect of needs. The facility is always clean, the staff is always kind and the therapists are more than terrific.

Changed insurance and was told their intake process would require that I have multiple sessions with a therapist first and that it would be about 1.5 months before I would be able to see a psychiatrist. I explained that I had a prescription with a previous psychiatrist and that I had been unable to get my medication for more than a month, but they wouldnt budge.I cant recommend a place that prioritizes internal processes over patient well-being.

In order to release you they will call all the people you do not speak to and try to hear what they have to say on the matter. There’s mold in the shower. The doctors give you a diagnosis you don’t relate to and when you explain you don’t relate or have any of the symptoms they don’t listen to you. This place does NOT listen to the patient. It is not for the patient. DO NOT GO HERE.

Throughout my recovery and my new life, I have been grateful for the help and support of the entire community here, especially with the awesome people who are receptionists!!

They don’t even have a psychiatrist on duty on weekends! My boyfriend threatened suicide and we had him sent there and he was held in a holding cell (like prison) all weekend just being told he had to speak to a psychiatrist first for evaluation which won’t be in until Monday. An entire weekend in a holding cell does NOT help with depression and suicical thoughts it makes it WORSE! Don’t send any loved ones here!

I started with a Therapist Christina she helped me alot but she was still training and left. I was switched to another therapist shes just there for a paycheck ive got worse since I started seeing her Ive told her a number of times I want another therapist. Shes giving me the run around. She needs more training or a new job cuz it looks like this job isnt her strong point. They mistakenly cancelled my important medication cancelled my Doctors appointment I made cuz it was urgent and never told me. Gave me the wrong dose of medication one month I can write a book on all the professionalism they lack. I wrote a complaint about my medication a reseptionist cancelled ddnt know they could do that but anyway still havent got my other meds nor a call back after leaving a couple messeges for Manager Ms. Elizabeth they could careless here so please think twice wouldnt recommend this facility to a enemy.

Very bad institute, Have to see therapist for several time then get to see a psychiatrist and still have to see a therapist. They share all info with each other so there is no confidentiality what so ever. Dr. B was the worst psychiatrist I have ever dealt with in my life and it took me like six therapist appointments to see him to find out i wasted all that time and gas to go there for nothing. Look for an alternative place to help you if you want help they will not help you here. Biggest waste of time in my life i would have rather stared at a well for a month.

I recommend Mazonic hospital, I had a good experience with doctors Michael Aisenberg and Dr. Robert Grunsten, they give confidence to speak, I felt very comfortable speaking in my Spanish language. Thanks to them, today I am in perfect mental health.
