I have been meeting with Valentina for over a year and has been a huge positive change in my life. My appointments with her always feel like high level therapy which help build on insights and ideas I discuss with my regular therapist. She is an excellent listener and always helps provide clarity with a wide range of topics. Also, very knowledgeable with different treatment options. Highly recommended!

Dr. Sallajs approach to mental health treatment is unlike any other psychiatrist Ive encountered. He practices a non-diagnostic model of care. What that means is he doesnt spend unnecessary time trying to label me with a diagnosis and instead, he focuses on treating my symptoms. Ill be honest here, it was strange and somewhat terrifying at first. Mostly because I spent many years with other psychiatrists who saw me only as a diagnosis on a piece of paper. Dr. Sallaj really sees me, though. He actually cares; he actually wants me to be the best version of myself. Although sometimes I question him and give him a hard time, I really appreciate all Dr. Sallaj & the Able Psychiatry team has done for me. I am more mentally well than I was three years ago, three months ago and three weeks ago because of them.

Dr. Sallaj is excellent! Warm and understanding but also providing guidance when necessary, His clinical knowledge is vast and he is able to apply potential solutions to an array of presenting issues. A psychiatric who truly listens and sits with you through your life experiences is invaluable. I would highly recommend Dr. Sallaj!Very much opposite of the unfortunate “typical” psychiatry experience where you see them for ~15 min and they check the boxes and send you on your way. If you want someone who genuinely listens and cares, I recommend this practice!

So far I have had all wonderful experiences. I like their mindset of working long term to get patients prescribed with medication that addresses their problems while also having almost no side effects. Previous doctors I have worked with have made me live with major side effects if a medication worked in most intended ways, but Dr. Sallaj doesnt settle for that.

I have met with quite a few psychiatrists over the years. Some horrible, some decent and some better than decent. Many Ive liked but didnt really help much. Dr. Sallaj has been the most helpful by far. I find the majority of psychiatrists intimidating. He is very approachable and invested in getting results. Hes willing to think outside the box and not one to just slap a label on someone, give a prescription and send them out the door. I think he cares about what hes doing and isnt mad with the typical psychiatrist-ego I have seen in others. I definitely would recommend him.

Im close to finishing my TMS treatments and just wanted to say that everyone at this office is beyond friendly and helpful. They make it easy to get the treatment you need and really work with you. I had a bad experience with another doctor (rude, judgemental, forceful with his opinions not based on science) and was so relieved when I met with Valentina and when I found out they had already gotten the treatment approved by my insurance. Dr. Sallaj is great as well and Sofiya is extremely friendly and helpful. I thought I would have to miss a bunch of work to do treatments, but theyre able to get my in and out quickly and with good flexibility so that hasnt been the case. Thanks guys!
