My family loves our annual trip to Chicago during the Holiday season. This was our 7th year in a row and we stay at different hotels each time. For the past three years we have used American Child Care to watch our two energetic boys in our hotel room. The nanny was very friendly and interested in hearing all about the boys visit to the science museum. She brought with her some activities that kept the boys off their tablets which was no small feat. Having a reliable option for child care makes the trip even more special for myself and my husband. I would recommend a trip to Chicago during the holiday season and if you use this service you can add a much needed date night!

I was nervous about using a babysitting service in a hotel. When I called to get information, the gal on the phone was very reassuring. I scheduled a sitter for my sisters wedding and had to change the times repeatedly. The people at the agency were very accommodating and pleasant. When my sitter came, she was very attentive to my child. She brought a bag of toys which was s big hit. I will definitely use this company again!

My son Terren attended the childcare this year at the Magic Foundation Convention. It was held at the Westin Lombard Hotel. We also used the childcare in 2015 when we attended the convention. I was extremely disappointed in the Daycare staff this year. They seemed lack experience with special needs children. My son was born with a rare condition called Panhypopituitary which caused him to be completely blind. He is 3 years old. He was at the Daycare for 2 days. Every time I went in the room, there were multiple children crying. Them didnt seem to know how to soothe the children. My son did fine the 1st morning but after that it was a disaster. He was very upset with all the crying. He is completely blind and I told them that if it had became too loud then take him to an quiet area in the hallway. He also has seizures. When I went in there Friday afternoon he was screaming uncontrollably. On Saturday they came to get us after him being in there for 1hr and 20min. When I wen. Into the room there was blood all over the pillow and blanket where he was lying at. The staff said he bit his tongue. He had a cut on his lip. I was so upset I took him out and we left the convention and went home. The staff said well maybe we can walk him around the hallway with stroller and some other things they should have tried before it had gotten to that point. Hopefully next year the staff will be better trained to handle these special needs children at this convention.
