Alia is extremely RUDE. Has zero customer service skills. She needs to take some social skills classes.

The quality has become terrible. The old lady named Alia literally pulled the skin off ! It lead to bleeding and a deep gash . Very boisterous and unprofessional. Extremely rude and lacks CUSTOMER SERVICE skills .Happened not once but twice ! I miss the old desi lady who worked at the place before [ guess her name was Najma ]. Definitely looking out for another salon as Theyve just lost a customer !Never coming back !

Worst hair cut i ever had and they dont even understand what we are saying and dont listen what customer wants, they dont even know hair styling and type of hair cuts,what ever you explain them, they will just do basic hair cut, that is also worst, and very impatient and unprofessional and worst salon i have ever visited, and they talk behind us thinking that we dont know their language, never ever go to this salon if you love your hair and wants to have to good hair cut..

I generally dont provide reviews and this is my first time as I had worst experience ever with my eyebrows done by Alia. Beware.. shes such a rude lady and she completely spoiled my eyebrows by making one eyebrow flat and thin even after telling that I want broad eyebrows and only extras to be removed. I would give the least rating for this lady not even 1.

I went there because I needed a last minute lip threading. I went to all the salons on devon, they smelled horrible and didn’t seem good at all. Once I walked into this one, I was greeted, and the people were ready to help me and my sister with some threading. The lady did my upper-lip very fast, and left no hair, she also did under my lower lip quickly, same for my sister. I completely recommend this salon, and encourage you to go. The young lady there was amazing!

Today was my first day at this salon. My girl at my usual place that does my eye brow threading (at another location) left... so it was time to look for something new. At first I was totally bummed...ladies you know how it is when you find the person that understands your brows! I looked up salons that had good ratings that did eye brow threading and came across Nikhar Beauty Salon.....so I went in and tried it (I had a bit of an attitude like ummmm hmmm lets see how this goes). I met Alia who did my brows and honestly lived up to the reviews, my brows look awesome!!!!!! Try them for eye brow threading you wont be disappointed. Alia took her time and and threaded my brow row by row until she got the shape I wanted , my brows are thin and I cannot afford a big chop from jump....you gotta work with them. You guys I look great, go get you some!

HORRIBLE. I went for eyebrow threading and it was one of the worst experiences I’ve had. I asked for a light clean up and to keep the shape and the arch natural. The person pressed too hard and removed most of my brow. I spent months growing out the shape to look more natural. The entire arch and shape are ruined. You can’t mask or fix it with a pencil. I expressed frustration and she was extremely dissimissive of my experience. Horrible service. Please avoid this place at all costs.

Wonderful staff and great service. I like going there because their staff are not nosy or ask personal/too many questions, which has been my experience at other desi salons.

It was my worst experience there. Yesterday on 19th June 2018 ,I went there for my haircut, my hairs were long,so I asked her for layer cut ,with only 2 inch deduction, but the old woman named aliana, she cut all my hairs till shoulders, she havent done layers, all my hairs in a straight line, i cried it in a parlor,I really feel like to sue her, I really dont know wen a person dont know haircut at all, why parlor owners keep them, now I have my festival n Im looking ugly in tat short, shapeless hair. My husband n frnz said, u should have called owner n asked for refund the money, even if I cut my hairs at home, I do cut much better than her.

They did such an awesome job with a very low price. Just 5$ for eyebrow threading? No way!

Nikhar did my pearcing my friend and I into now I still have it she does a very wonderful job. I suggest you go for nikhar if you need your nose pearcing done .

I dont know what the person is talking about in the below review. I personally have been getting my eyebrows threaded and steam facials done by Najma long before she even worked at Nikhar. Maybe the previous reviewer had a bad experience with some former employee. Regardless, all of the ladies that work at Nikhar are wonderful. However, Najma is hands down one of the best threaders in the Chicagoland area -- especially on Devon Ave. She also does some of the best steam facials. I dont even go to spas anymore for one. Najma will not disappoint you no matter what your beauty needs may be. I have gotten to know her after getting my eyebrows and facials done by her for well over a decade. She has been doing this stuff for about 40 years now and let me tell you, the quality of her work is indicative of her long term experience and perfection of the art of threading and facials.Najma out does ANYONE at any other beauty salon on devon, including Deebas, Rupa, and Natashas. Trust me, you will leave happy.. But most importantly, youll leave looking fresh and at your best.
