I was just guest dosing at this clinic and I loved it. It was very quick to get me processed in and dosed. All the staff were super nice, answered all my questions, and the have a ton of information pamphlets about MAT/MMT, HEP C, HIV, & Methadone during pregnancy. They were also the easiest clinic in town to get answers about guest dosing. I called several others before this and they kept transferring me to different people they claimed would know more and I had to leave messages at a few and never got calls back. So if you looking for an attentive clinic with friendly staff & positive atmosphere, Id go with CAP. Im giving it 5stars.P.s. Ive guest dosed in several other counties: Aiken (North Augusta), Nashville, and Columbia and again, this was the fastest clinic to get me registered and dosed.

Ive been here for 2 years. Ive never had a problem. Ive even carried balances as high as $300. I always end up paying them off but I think with them its always better let them know earlier. Theyve been great to me. Always friendly and respectful.

I really liked this place. I’ve been to a few clinics and this is by far the best. My councilor was friendly and knowledge. The wait time is always short and the place is clean. I wish they offered more services, like groups.

I went there in the early eighties. They literally saved my life. I now live in a fine house (paid off the mortgage this year). The man who founded this clinic was the most compassionate Dr. Ive known to date. I havent been there in decades. Ive heard its changed some things are better but not as liberal as it was when I was there. Now my best friend is still there, and he is STILL GRATEFUL !

CAP consistently plays with your money. On Jan. 8 2016 I paid $240 on a 0 balance. Two weeks later I paid another $240 (1 month), two weeks later I paid $240 which was Feb 7. I was on two week pickup. I was required to pay $120 every two weeks. I had 15 receipts showing a zero balance or showing paying early. April 1 my counselor, Joe, refused to look at account and said I did not pay since February so I had to pay $240. I owned zero until April 6 when I would owe 2 weeks. I gave him a check for two weeks and he would not give me my two week pickup. Terrycloth Bering the former junkie who is clinic director went back two years and added April like I did not pay for it and said I owe 112 for some odd reason. I was in the hospital for 12 days and went to program when I was released from hospital with 3 bottles from before I went into HOSPITAL. CAP put new labels over the three bottles that were sealed by hospital and gave them back to me and charged me $60 for readministering bottles from previous two weeks. CAP is all about money. CAP never suggested or tried to help me detox. I left CAP and went to a program that was able to detox me from 225mg to 30mg in 6 months. I was on CAP for 25 years. My fault. I will swear to Terrycloth Bering changing account and saying the counselor, Joe, was correct in not checking my account from Jan.8th to Feb 3rd to see I had paid extra. DO NOT pay anything in advance. I did not believe patients who claimed they were paid on time and extorted extra money to get their medication. Believe or not, it is up to uou. If you have an alternative DO NOT use CAP. The founding doctor is now serving time in Sandstone federal prison. STAY AWAY.

C.A.P. Is the best clinic around. They have the best nurses and Dr.s their counselors are great they really help you through the whole process, even the receptionists are nice people and that makes a big difference. The building set up is kool and plenty of room and they accually close the door when you talk with your counselor or Dr. which helps reasure you things are kept private. If they ever take County Care Medicaid Insurance Ill be back there in a minute, thats the only reason im not there now after 15 years there. Myself have been in treatment that long because of health and personal issues but if your looking to detox they are the best they really know how to help.

Ive been coming here on and off for the past 10 years. For the past three years, Ive come to them for a bupe prescription. I explained to the doctor that I was going to be in between jobs and insurances and that I would have to make one months prescription last until I had the funds to get my next, and have my new insurance in place. I called them up after 2 months and they tell me they discharged me a couple days ago. They want me to pay another $400 to be reinstated. I explained I didnt have that much money and asked them if they could do remove that fee considering I informed my doctor I would be stretching my dose and also the fact that they JUST went ahead and discharged me a 3 days ago, I wouldnt of had to pay double the fee but they said thats all we can do for you.How comforting.I suppose they dont want to help people, they just care about getting their money. I always came back here because it was the only doctor Ive been to for this, it was convenient and close to my job, but if they cant be there for me when I need them the most, I will just stop going to them. Ill simply find a new doctor. All they had to do was be understanding of a situation that I well informed them of. I refuse to give my money to a doctor that cares nothing about my well being. They arent concerned about anything else. This one time fee, that they refused to waive will cost them more than it will me. They dont think anything of the fact that if they would look into what they can do for me I would still be a patient, giving them that $250 every month. I have a lifetime battle so its their loss. I will gladly take my money elsewhere. In addition, I will have to redo the process of locating a new doctor with no notice, no meds and full withdrawal that includes physical illness, serious anxiety that lead to mental breakdowns for me. I suggest anyone else that needs real treatment find a program that cares.
