Don’t make a mistake like I did the first time by thinking someone you know will take good care of you. Many people have a friend or relative who is in the Mortgage business, and don’t think much about how important the “right” person is when buying a home, opposed to just someone they “know”. The decision of who manages the financing of likely the largest purchase you will ever make will be with you for 15-30 years. When I first used Scott - I was blown away with how well versed he was on what I needed to do for the entire process. He coached me on how to improve my credit score. He advised me how to be in the best position to get the house I wanted. He made sure I got the best rate, the right terms, and the paperwork was correct when it came time to close. After the fact, he lets me know when I can save money with a refinance. He’s on his game - and many years later I’ve bought around 8 properties and done probably twice as many refi’s with him. I wouldn’t trust anyone else. Use this guy if you want it right. He’s more important than my realtor.
