Have been here many times with my 83 yr old father. The location is very convenient and the experience, streamlined, if you will. So far the staff have been very nice and helpful, to the last. No condescension or impatience by anyone. I appreciate that!Doctors have been top notch. Parking, etc., very easy. I will keep coming back. Much better than going into the city.

My husband and are so happy that we no longer have the hassle of driving/parking to center-city Philly for all our doctor appointments. We were able to find excellent doctors here……and were accepted as patients for Primary Care and several other Specialists at PennMed in Cherry Hill, with no problem. The facility is beautiful, clean, and with excellent parking. Upon arrival, you are met by a friendly guard, who will assist you with the a wheel chair, that is available, if you need help. There is never a long wait when registering, and everyone is pleasant and helpful. We recommend PennMed to everyone.

I have not encountered ANY of the issues that I am reading about in these reviews. The entire staff has been excellent to me. Yes, you have to wait some times, but when I am with my doctors, I do not want to feel rushed. Dr. Hanna and Emily Lott have addressed every concern and answered all my questions. The nursing staff is amazing, compassionate, and they truly work together as a team. THANK YOU to everyone there. tom 1 19 64

I contacted Penn (Cherry Hill) to leave a message for my mothers Physician.I spoke with Kevin who was very professional, knowledgeable and personable. He went that extra mile in assisting me. I have spoken with him on a few other occasions, he is always very respectful and accommodating while answering any questions or concerns you may have.He also has that gift for subtlety calming you while engaged in a normal conversation.Kevin has a unique skill set when speaking or acquiring information. He always makes you feel so cared for and comforted while directing your call to the appropriate location. He was able to find the information I needed to assist with my mothers care.I hope Penn knows he is a true treasure, as you dont find this type of dedication any longer...Thank you Kevin, you truly made my day!

As far as the maternal fetal ultrasound goes — 2 thumbs down. Everyone’s nice and all but prepare to wait atleast an hour EVERY TIME. I think it’s funny they ask you to come 15min early yet you always end up waiting atleast an hour to be seen. It’s just a time killer. It sucks. Thank God it’s only every few weeks or I’d have to switch. Cmon penn. Do better

Im nervous about my visit here because of all of the bad reviews and because of poor customer service over the phone. I had technical difficulties with the pre check-in this morning that I was directed to online (via a confirmation email?). The person on the Penn Medicine phone line was unable to help me. With all of the money that Penn Medicine makes, Im surprised that they are not able to keep up with the times in terms of a user interface and online experience that works per modern day standards. At the very least, they could invest in better customer service. Im only moving forward with the appointment because I have a health insurance plan that limits me to NJ doctors and I am interested in seeing one of the highly rated doctors from Penn (DSouza). I hope everything goes smoothly at my appointment, but my hopes are not high.----Changing my review to 4 stars. Yes - the online and getting an appointment experience was not great. But the experience in person was fine. The staff and doctor that I saw were thorough and efficient.----Changing this back to 1 star. It has been 2 months and they still havent gotten back to me with results. It is impossible to reach them over the phone. Despite calling several times and giving them my phone number, they somehow still had the wrong number on file. I got a bill about a month ago and still no answer about results. I hope that I can not only get the service that I came in for, but a refund on my high co-pay for this terrible customer service experience.

*Veterans*I felt like I was bothering the Doctor today. He was not interested in me my background just went down the list saying yah yah ok sure.During my back exam my knee popped and he said what was that I told him and assumed he would take note but didnt. An hour drive to leave feeling worse.I canceled my other appointments.I am a person that requires common courtesy and decency.Nothing more or less.

They are nice people. The fact that the office doesn’t have their own line boggles me. You have to call the Philadelphia office to have them transfer you to the Cherry Hill office. Once connected to them you can’t make an appointment they send your info to a coordinator who then calls you back. It’s just too many channels. I never actually met with the doctor. I dealt with all nurses and nurse practitioners because my issue “was not severe enough”. I’ve heard nothing but good things about Penn Medicine but my experience was not good at all.

No one would even forward or pass on my message to the specialist. Primary told me not their issue, not their dept., I have to call. Well guess Im looking for care someone else! Insane and sloppy!

Mostly for Alexine Froissard NPI recently became a patient at Penn Family Medicine Cherry Hill in May 2020. From the first call to find a primary and see if they take my insurance, I have been so impressed! It’s such an ease of scheduling appointments and I always get an appointment immediately! Every single person in the office is extremely nice and polite! They answer you instantly every time! Dr. Lexi herself is so nice and friendly! She really listens to you, is very through, explains everything to you step by step, and is so smart! She truly cares about you and goes out of her way to personally call you when you aren’t feeling well. I’m so happy I found her! Dr. Lexi and Penn medicine is my new FOREVER provider! If you’re looking for a primary I highly recommend Dr. Lexi!! Oh and she has a really great medical assistant, Deborah too!!Timothy Bayruns at Good Shepherd Penn Partners at Cherry Hill is amazing as well!! Definitely worth my co-pay plus some!! He really listens to you and knows everything!! He’s the best physical therapist around for TMJ issues! My first appointment was long and he even brought out a textbook and explained everything from muscles to blood vessels to joints; how they worked etc! It was great to learn more about my issues but even better because I love medical stuff and he went above and beyond!

Scheduling is a complete nightmare... I scheduled a first consult, then received a call informing me that had to reschedule after I told them I wasnt available for that time. Called back waited over 30 minutes and then disconnected, only to have to wait another 30 mins. Total wait time one hour! Administrative jobs in hospitals have become the new McJobs. Lousy attitudes, horrible service, the list goes on.

I went on the Penn Cherry Hill website to schedule an appointment with a foot/ankle doctor. They have tabs next to each doctor that you can click to make an appointment. Click the tab and a blank screen appears. Every doctor, the same thing. First impressions matter. Its 2018, your website should work. Called the number on the website to make an appointment. Lady on phone said she could give me the number for IT. I said it should be you to call and fix your website not me. I Asked to make an appointment on the phone. She transferred me. Waited on the phone for six minutes before hanging up. My time was wasted. Perhaps Penn medicine is too big for its own good.

New Patients beware! I requested a a wellness appointment for my husband and I, and have to wait 3 months to be seen. My husband and I had back to back appointments to establish care with a new doctor. His appointment was first and then mine. At my appointment I brought some of my more significant medical history with me (Skin Cancer) to provide to the doctor. We discussed the rest of my medical history and that is the end of the appointment. Fast forward to 2 months later when I get a bill for over 400 dollars for my wellness visit, while my husbands wellness visit was covered in full. When i call up the insurance carrier they said that the codes the Penn Medicine submitted for my appointment were illness/diagnosis codes for a Squamous cell Carcinoma. I explained to the insurance company that that was a review of a previous diagnosis and treatment that was handled by a different doctor, 3 years ago. They advised me to call the doctors office and ask them to review the file. My insurance carrier and I got on the phone with the billing department to dispute the code. They sent it for review. Again it came back saying that there was a diagnosis for Skin Cancer and they stand by their original billing. When I asked them to review it a third time, and look at the paperwork the doctor had included in my file, they would see that there was no present diagnosis for skin cancer. The paperwork was from 2015. I even gave them the correct Z code to use to classify the visit correctly. (my good friend does medical coding) . I spoke to the billing manager and asked that the manager followup with me when the review was completed. Well that was 4 months ago and I never received a call. It has been over 11 months since my original appointment and yesterday I received the same bill for over $400. All for a skin cancer, Penn Medicine and the doctor, did NOTHING about. NO DIAGNOSIS, NO TREATMENT! The Doctor never even looked at the site where the cancer was! This is nothing short of a complete exploitation of the medical system and I consider this insurance fraud. They are making the insurance and I pay twice for something they never diagnosed or treated me for. I will NEVER go there again and do not recommend this place to new patients.

I see Dr. Joffe and the Coumadin Clinic. I am not an easy patient as I have grown up in Hospitals having been born with severe multiple congenital heart defects. This review is solely about the facility because they clearly do not know how to handle proper cleanliness and preventing the spread of disease. I went to my Coumadin clinic appointment today (that they attempted to cancel 30 mins before my appointment) and was given a ton of issues because they were preventing people from the building to prevent the spread of diseases. It was the most insane thing I have ever seen in a medical facility. I was treated rudely by the front desk people and when I went to check in, I couldn’t even hear my check in person because a women was screaming at another person that they will no longer accept anyone under the age of 12 to even enter the facility. This is far from how a medical facility should work during any type of pandemic. I was appalled. The only reason this review is not one star is because Cassandra at the Coumadin Clinic is by far the BEST nurse I have ever encountered in any Coumadin clinic. I have left Coumadin Clinics previously but she is without a doubt the most amazing person I’ve met in any of these. I also like Dr. Joffe. However, I’ve learned a doctor is only as good as his supporting facility and staff. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Its incredibly disappointing that this practice refused to see me because I was involved in a car accident. I would think one should first be evaluated by their primary for any type of problem visit. Not to mention how disappointing it is that I need a doctor and they refuse to even see me. Instead they referred me to a pain management clinic? I have no diagnosis yet, I need an evaluation, Id rather not go to a specialist.I was so disappointed with their handling of this that I called my insurance right away and switched my primary! No more Penn cherry hill for me! Thanks for nothing in an unfortunate situation!

After spending Sunday in the er to get my heart rate down I called Monday morning at 10 to ask why no one called. They called at 12 to tell me there was a problem. Dr. Kelly DeSouza-Sanders is pleasurable to have oversee you, but the wait in the waiting room along with the wait in the exam room is ridiculous! Ive waited over 45 minutes for just the exam prep to take place. My time is valuable and should be respected, as any patient should be treated with promptness. This is disappointing and I will seek another doctor who doesnt make me wait close to an hour before I even get to see the doctor.
