I give this office a 0 if I had the option. Worst customer service ever!!!my experience: Eye exam for contact and Glasses.Doctors Orders: will received samples with 7 days. day 14 no call. i contact the office they told me they left a voice message. I didnt received it. No big issue right.. Until Doretta stated that I needed to go to a contact lens class. I ask for what i been wearing contact for 30+ years. you sure you have the right patient? She places me on hold.. comes back am sorry we need to schedule you another appointment. i told her okay thank, you scare me thought you had me mix with another patient. Doretta stated sarcastically.. Nothing to be scare of its just a class ! I replied it is if thats not what the doctor ordered and you are reading my chart... Doretta response look when you come in just scheduled the appointment.. WHAT IN THE WORLD IS GOING ON HERE... DID I MISSED SOMETHING? ITS MY HEALTH MY EYE AND I WANT TO MAKE SURE YOU ARE READING MY CHART... DONT GIVE ME ATTITUDE GIVE ME WHAT THE DOCTOR ORDERED... RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE... UNTIL THEY CHANGE THE STAFFING...

I am very disappointed not in the Dr that treated me three months ago. But the new company who took over n have destroyed the atmosphere for the clients n workers. Sad to hear so many people have left. When a company takes over another one u think they would be honored to carry the work of excellence and work the previous company has done and sad this one has destroyed it . I don’t know how I will feel when I go the next time but if I have to I will leave it also sad day for that Eye Associates and their employees and theirs clients they have great doctors they did I don’t know about the new ones.

My mom and I scheduled appointments on March 15 for today, June 1. We tried calling five times before March 15, and no one answered the phone. We got no confirmation of our appointments today, but we showed up at our scheduled time. The woman at the desk had laryngitis and was coughing, which isn’t very comforting during the Covid 19 pandemic. She said she didn’t have our appointments in their system because their system was hacked and all appointments scheduled the week of March 15 were deleted. We said it would have been a good idea for Eye Associates to send out an email to patients letting them know this happened and asking us to call if we scheduled that week. The woman rudely said they have too many patients and wouldn’t do that. She also said it wasn’t their fault. Well, it certainly wasn’t our fault. Rather than apologizing, she was very rude.We spent a half hour checking in, which was frustrating. We had our appointments. Our prescriptions stayed the same. Then, when I went to check out, the woman at the check out desk said she was busy working on other patients and wasn’t ready for us. I said I wanted to order contact lenses, and she told me to go to the optician desk. I have never had to go there before to order contacts. It was always at the front desk or check out desk. The man at the optician desk said I needed a printed prescription. He went back to the checkout lady. She said I haven’t had an updated contact prescription since 2015. I have ordered contacts ten times since then with no issue. The optician man went to the back without saying anything to us and was gone a long time. I didn’t want to wait any longer, so I decided to leave, which is very frustrating because I really wanted to order the contacts. The front desk staff made it a very unpleasant experience.

Dr. Ricchiuti is great. Very welcoming, answers any questions, and has a great doctor to patient relationship. Never makes me feel dumb. Sometimes the wait can be a little long.

Eye Associates of Cherry Hill seem to be efficiently run. The eye appointment took longer than I expected. My appointment was for 10 A M. I did not see the Doctor until 11 A M. Hopefully next time it will not be so long as they have my info.

Best ever! After three other unsuccessful Dr. visits, he provided me with a solution. I am so thankful for him and looking forward to his solution and better vision.

If I can give zero stars I would. They never pick up the phone, I have to call so many times that I forget what I’m calling for. They said my glasses would be ready in 3 weeks? it’s 5 weeks and they don’t call you when they arrive. You always have to call them to see if it’s there or not. Isn’t it they’re job to call us when our glasses arrive? I thought so too, apparently not.

First, let me sat that all of the doctors are awesome. Very professional and explained everything in detail. The office staff and the surgical staff in their Vineland office (all surgery must be scheduled with the Vineland office), on the other hand, should all be fired. The office staff in Cherry Hill are rude and definitely do not make one feel welcome. I don’t know how they schedule appointments but I’ve waited at least an hour every time I had an appointment. When I mentioned to the woman who I believe is the office manager that I work and couldn’t wait much longer, she was snippy and told me that they have a very busy practice. News flash: other people work and are very busy, too. Please have a little respect for the patients time!I had cataract surgery and setting up the appointment for surgery was extremely stressful, too. It took over a week for the surgical staff to send me the info about my surgery—and get this, they sent it by email. If I took a week to send an email, I’d be fired! Then I had to hurry up and schedule a COVID test and a physical with my family doctor because my surgery was scheduled for the following week. They must think the patients are all sitting around with nothing to do—I happen to work full-time and I am very organized. This rushing around to get appointments in one week was not necessary since they could have emailed me far in advance of my surgery.

Disappointed overall. Got told I needed a contact fitting even though I have been wearing the same lenses for like 15 years and prescription didn’t change and was told that it was covered. If you go there make sure you double check coverage before you let them do anything even if it is offered as part of the “routine” appointment

Im done with this office after going there for almost 7 years. Sayonara, adios!

Just rating the eye wear section of the office. not sure how personnel-wise theyre associated. but the person running that section should be fired or at the very least re-educated! Went there with appointment and was told I couldnt be helped because i didnt have my VSP ID NUMBER. Just called VSP and they said I dont have one shouldnt need one. They added that any service provider should be able to look me up....Maybe they didnt want the business.. theyre certainly not getting mine!

Over the past 2 weeks, I called twice and left messages and I requested an appointment via your online portal for yearly eye exam appointment today. No one called me back.Today I called again for the 3rd time. Was told by the phone receptionist that I cannot schedule myself and my 2 daughters on the same day (I explained that I single parent and wish to minimize how many times we have to enter the office). I was told that I could not be helped.I left a portal message with the above complaints and within 5 minutes I received a phone call from their staff that their office manager apologized, and would absolutely accommodate the three of us, with the provider of my choice. The individual on the phone also said she would look into why phone calls are not being returned.I appreciate the accommodations and steps their office manager is taking to improve the quality of care and patient relations during this difficult time that the Covid pandemic has placed us in.I have been a patient for many years of Dr Ricchiuti and Dr Shah. Their eye glass store is wonderfully stocked and their staff has always been patient, polite and accommodating. Im glad to see that they are working hard to continue this trend.

Dr. Halzinger was really great and professional, but my overall experience is very unpleasant! I was called back to take the initial exam performed by the nurse, after a minute another man was placed in the same TINY room to take the same exam, when I expressed my concern and fear being in such a tiny room with 3 more people, the lady was angry, rude, unpleasant and unwillingly took me to another room, which was completely empty! This is not acceptable and puts patients in unnecessary risk of exposure to COVID-19!

The optical department especially is phenomenal. I only have been to this location once but it is the same woman and gentleman I used to see in Optical at their office in Blackwood and I felt it was necessary to leave a comment because of my recent experience. My glasses broke and the lines were busy so I left a voicemail explaining I had just been there in December and wasnt sure what my options were with insurance or if I should come in to purchase a new pair out right. I got in touch with them a day or so later and they had already got through to insurance and placed an order for a new pair. Everyone knows how awful it is to be stuck without your prescription so I was thrilled they took the initiative to go through with everything before even speaking to me again. Not to mention they are always soo polite. Thought Id give them some much deserved recognition. Thanks guys!
