Don’t even waste your time. They lose your file, and each time you talk on the phone it’s a different person than it was before. Don’t get me wrong, they’re nice, but they don’t know how to do their job. I’ve been seeing this clinic for a year and have to bounce around on the phone with a million people who never remember me or my case. Oh, and forget a phone appointment, half of the time they never even call you. Don’t waste your time and just go somewhere else.

I personally think this place is an experience it for I yourself kind of place. If you go in there not wanting to actually be helped, and don’t tell them how you feel, or what you need, then you won’t be helped. Anywhere you go they are going to try different medicines on you. They’re doctors, not miracle workers. This place is great. Very compassionate, and they actually listen to how you feel.

This place is ok the only complaints I have are that i dont get the point of calling you out of the waiting room only to go in a waiting room in the back...and when I first started going again I was told I would see a doctor over video chat. I hated that it seemed not very professional the lady on the call was getting distracted by her kids because she was working from home... She would talk to them and he like sorry my kids just got home from school But now I see good doctors I see Jared hes very nice to talk to I like him a lot

If I could give no stars I would I waited ALL day called several times they were supposed to call me the appointment was set up and they never called back and every time I called they just bounced me around on hold

This place is a joke, they basically throw medicines at you hoping one works. Their employees are very rude and unprofessional. As I over heard one employee say Im not dealing with this $h!? Today referring to me. This place needs to be shut down permanently. If you need mental health assistance, go somewhere else. I will report this place till the state does something about it. i wouldnt let my worst enemy go to this place. Hey lets dope you up and make it 10x worse, I mean seriously people. This place will sign your death sentence, stay Away! Illiterate, not professional at all. Bunch of scum bags run this place.

My experience was wonderful! Had it into been for them, I would be dead. JMHC cant help you if you wont have yourself; they can help you if you CANT help yourself. Thanks Johnsons Crisis Unit.😍P.S. Its free and the food is FANTASTIC!

I have a family member that has been here before quite a few times. We havent been in in a year so I made an appointment. I took off of work, came, and was told that my appointment was cancelled by them since they didnt have my new phone number. Keep in mind Ive talked to them twice before and no one asked me for my new phone number. I was given a phone number to call since Ill be registering as a new patient again since its been over a year. They couldve at least let me call the number there since they told me the process is fast. So now Ive taken off of work for nothing and its like they didnt care. Ill never bring my family member here again. Bad customer service.

My psychiatric nurse practitioner is in charge of prescribing only one medication to me. When I call asking for a refill,she responded,Which one do you want? Ummm.... how about the one you prescribed??? They never call to remind you of your appointment. They cant even tell me what time the pharmacy opens because even though its in the same building,they arent a part of it. What do they not pay attention to their surroundings? The only reason I still go here is because I have to. Its the cheapest place around.UPDATE: So, I took my medicine as directed by my psychiatric nurse practitioner, 1/4 to the whole tablet. I made that medicine stretch for a year. Its mind boggling they did this to me without warning me this could happen. I go to pick up my last available refill and they tell me, the prescription is expired.I said, I dont have any medicine, and the pharmacist told me, You got lucky, usually its only a 90 day supply. She told me to go to the desk and make an appointment and maybe they can see me today. So, I try to make an appointment. The lady tells me that since Ive missed several appointments and I havent seen her (Pnp) in a year, that I have to call this toll free number and get back in the system. ONE, I never made appointments, and was never notified that I had any, How did I miss appointments I never had?Two, NOWHERE, in their paperwork, signs, staff, or my own provider told me I would be booted out of the entire Joe Johnson system if I didnt see my provider within a certain time frame. And surprise, surprise, not even in this call that I wrote this review about was there a warning.I call the toll free number and guess what? They cant take me due to a shortage of providers that take my insurance and shortage of staff!They didnt give me an emergency supply and they kicked me out of the clinic!!!!Now Im screwed because of them.

If you need help you can look here for it. If you make an effort then everyone here will do all they can to help you. We need more places like this available when people are in a crisis situation that can happen to any one at any time so never be afraid to ask for help from here these are great people working here to offer help.

Absolutely disgusting place. The 20 yr old (aka Army want to be) security guard and one of the care techs on night shift were openly talking about patients information, mine included. Making jokes about patients. When I confronted the tech about not wanting to hear anymore she actually tried to get into it with me. Completely unprofessional. Before that they were both talking about bedbugs, strip searching another stanky ass patient and a penis pump!!! FILTHY and complete disregard for who heard them. The amount of vulgarity from both of them was shocking. Both should be ashamed and lose their jobs. HIPPA violations all over the place. OCR has already been contacted.

This is the worst place i have ever been to. Three times now I have gone in for my appointment only for them to tell me it has been moved, WITHOUT anyone telling me. The receptionist are rude, and no help at all. Now I do not have enough meds to make it to the rescheduled appointment. I was hung up on 3 times, and put on hold immediately each time I called. These are the people who are suppose to help you get better. Not make you worse.

I do not recommend ANYONE to go here. I dont care how bad you are feeling, go to valley or Erlangers ER and youll be treated better. I had been a patient here for a long time and I have seen providers come and go. My Dr that I have been seeing since I have private insurance for the past two years just up and left! I got a phone call 2 hours before my appointment informing me of this. I asked them who I would see and they claimed telehealth, which I DID NOT feel comfortable with and it would be over a week before I could be seen. I asked my questions that concerned me and reluctantly scheduled. Well my intuition was right that it was a horrible idea. They cut my counseling appointment short by 30 minutes to get me seen sooner by telehealth, which I DID NOT appreciate because I JUST beat stage IV cancer and been a wreck because Im fearful of it coming back and my counselor was trying to teach me some coping skills. Then, went into the telehealth room with a good attitude. I was going to try it and try to be positive. I saw this witch ( being nice) Shandi from Athens. She treated me with absolute NO respect. Treated me like an addict, which I am far from. I HATE taking medicine for anything. I was told that in order to continue receiving my medication, I have to start going to mandantory anxiety support group. I do not have time for that with all the recent surgeries and upcoming surgeries, other doctors appointments, my husbands job, plus me trying to work what little my oncologist will allow. She wasnt going to have that .She set me into a severe anxiety attack. I hyperventilated and fainted in the office. They called EMS and FORCED me to go to the ER. For a mental health center, they sure do not know how to help someone overcome a panic attack. There was NO REASON to take me to an ER because they did NOTHING for me except refer me to a different mental health Dr. I was stranded at the er because my car was at their office. So when I got a ride over there, I filed a formal complaint on paper, which I doubt this craphole will take seriously and was told I would have to pay to have my records sent to my new doctors office. Ive already filed a complaint with my insurance company. Nobody deserves to be treated this badly.
