I highly recommend Pure Barre. If you’re thinking about taking a class, do it! Plus, your first class is free. Pure Barre is a mind body connection, which I love. It helps me decompress and not think about anything else. I’ve been going to Pure Barre for over a year now and absolutely love it. I leave stronger after each class.

Pure Barre Chattanooga is an all around great fitness studio. Not only are the class sizes small, but also the instructors are intentional. This is a workout that challenges you both mentally and psychically, and it pushes you to try harder and find your limits. The community at PB is what makes this studio unique! I found the atmosphere of this pure barre not warm or welcoming to new beginners. There was not a sense of community, encouraging atmosphere, or much help for those still learning. In the beginning, I was excited and nervous to try something new but left most classes feeling discouraged and somewhat of an outcast to this fitness group. I also had increased back strain for days after each class. 2 instructors were somewhat helpful with modifications and 2 instructors did not help with modifications, didn’t bother to ask my name or provide encouragement or feedback. The front desk was nice the first 2 times then didn’t welcome me when I came in or speak when leaving. This fitness group felt cliquish and lacked enthusiasm and excitement. I found the classes challenging but also boring.I’m providing my experience and feed back in hopes that changes might occur for other new members in the future.

Pure Barre has changed my life. I’ve been a PB member for a few years and the longer I take classes, the more I love it. I never enjoyed working out until I found Pure Barre and now I plan my schedule around my workouts. It has changed my body and I’m stronger than I’ve ever been. I have lower back issues and a heart condition and Pure Barre is the only workout that I can do. It actually helps my back and is low impact enough for my heart. The teachers are kind, encouraging, and knowledgeable. Take a class. Your first one is free and I promise, you will LOVE it!!

Pure barre is by far a game changer for me. The type of workout and results you get there is like no other type of workout. Pure barre has helped me feel more confident physically and I has been a wonderful destresser for me. The staff and people you workout with are like family and you never feel judged in this workout environment. Sabrena (the owner) is very welcoming and keeps both of her facilities clean and sanitized. I am so blessed to have been introducing to Pure Barre!

Going to your first barre class is intimidating and fast paced, but you walk out feeling amazing! The instructors are all so wonderful and will answer any questions you may have at the end of class. They offer a slower version on the class in which I highly suggest taking. I recommend attending class here because I promise you will see results and feel so great while working out in a friendly environment! Love it here! Youre stronger than you think you are!

Amazing workout! Ive never stuck with anything for over 4 years, and here I am, still enjoying every class, still being challenged every time. Its a fantastic way to stay in shape, maintain muscle mass and use muscles that we dont otherwise use sitting in the office all day . Its great for men and women!

Barre is super fun but CHALLENGING! I am working muscles I never knew I could/had. The instructors are all sweet and fun and ensure that you are getting the best workout possible! Sara Dean has been an awesome instructor and Tiffany the manager is very personable! They get to know you and your strengths and work with you one on one too. I would recommend for anyone looking for something different or trying to tone!

I enjoyed my classes immensely. The staff is very nice, and very accomodating. I like the no-nonsense yet friendly environment that was seamlessly maintained at both the locations I visited. The workouts were intense, and I felt the effects immediately. The instructors were very attentive and hands on, while maintaining the flow of the class. I look forward to many future classes. However, I do recommend taking the Breaking Down The Bar class as soon as you can, it will enhance your knowledge and therefore enhance your results.

I’m so glad I started going to Pure Barre! I had never been to a barre class before so I was a little nervous at first, but everyone is so welcoming and helpful to make sure you know what you are doing. I went to “Breaking Down the Barre” before my first real class, which I highly recommend doing so you are familiar with the terms used in class. I have been to 8 classes so far and I can already see small changes in my body and increased flexibility. I am very impressed with the Pure Barre team and look forward to going to class and feeling the burn!

Pure Barre is one of the best workouts of my life. It is challenging, yet fun! It is never the same workout. The moves are varied and strategically chosen to create results in the body. Ive been going to Pure Barre on North Shore for just over a month now. I am so impressed! Every single teacher is not only incredibly positive, but also fantastic at showing me how to readjust during class while Im still learning. Im not very athletic, so I thought these classes would be really hard to get through, but they fly by. I never even think to check my watch. Every class is different and the music is fun. I also really appreciate how encouraging the teachers are during the class when things get challenging. And best of all, I can tell a difference in my body and in my flexibility already! Im hooked!

Pure Barre is such a great workout and is challenging for all fitness levels. Ive been going for a couple of months now and have not done a class without something feeling sore the next day. The staff at Northshore is super nice and helpful. They assist you throughout the class to make sure that you are doing every move the right way so that you get a good workout. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a fun way to incorporate exercising into your life.

Loving Pure Barre! Ive been going for 2 weeks, but its the first exercise class Ive looked forward to going to! The trainers are upbeat and helpful, and the classes are full of women of all ages and body types. Ive enjoyed the classic pure barre class, and have really enjoyed the Empower classes - I feel like Im getting a really good, full- body workout in less than an hour. I look forward to seeing the results.

The instructors really push you, and take care to make sure your form is correct. I have made much more progress at Pure Barre then I have at a regular gym. I also love that it’s all women, working out together with the loud music is something I always look forward to.

I have been a Pure Barre DVD fanatic for the last year and a half. I had cancer in 2015, and pure barre was the first thing I was able to start doing to regain my strength back post chemo and radiation. I decided to try out the studio because my Mom started attending a few months ago. I am now HOOKED! I absolutely love it! The facility is awesome and the staff is amazing! Highly recommend!

I️ attend the East Brainerd location and have thoroughly enjoyed getting back to working out. I️ am incredibly credibly out of shape and have found this studio/instructors very supportive in my effort. The work out is completely doable— I️ may not get my leg as high or last as long, but I️ will!

Ive really enjoyed the classes at Pure Barre. The instructors are encouraging and helpful. There are times I have to modify exercises. One instructor uses rigorous exercises that are less weight bearing; that helps me push where otherwise I might not be able to participate. I have identified my areas of weakness, and Im getting stronger with every class.

I look forward to going to PB classes. I love meeting the different teachers and learning their workout styles. Theyre all different! And very helpful throughout each class, to make sure youre getting the best workout. Ive only been to 11 classes so far, and already notice my arms toning up well, along with gaining inner thigh strength (more leg strength in general).

It’s an expensive work out, but totally worth it! I’m pooped when I get done with class, and I feel the burn the rest of the day— in a good way! All the teachers always help with form and are able to answer questions. If only there were a few more classes later in the evening, I’d be so happy Bc I could go more often!

I’ve only done 5 classes at Pure Barre so far, and I already love it. Every instructor I’ve had so far has been so helpful in correcting my form so I get the best workout and they are really good about remembering your name and encouraging you during class. I heard that results didn’t start until about class 10, but I’m only on #5, and I can already feel myself getting stronger and more flexible. I bought the Groupon to try it out, and I’m so very glad I did!

Great workout experience! Im using Pure Barre as additional activity in conjunction with crossfit. It is a great way to mix up your workout and the instructors are very helpful with teaching movements your body may not be used to. Definitely provides a lot of toning with small movements. I thought at the age of 59 this would be too difficult for me and I wouldnt see results. Well, I must say that even though it is one heck of a work out, it is totally worth it! Each time it gets a little easier and I am already seeing results, and I have only taken 5 classes. If you are wanting to get toned, strengthen your core and lose some weight...give this a try and dont give up. The instructors are great to help you get the right form and to help you when you have not idea what you are supposed to be doing! I go to the Pure Barre off East Brainerd Rd and Jenkins. Love it there, and love the people.

Went to my first class with my bestfriend. Had a blast and I can still feel the workout from earlier today. Ive always done cardio or weight training. This class was way different from anything I have tried in the past and worked a completely different set of muscle. Something that was nice was that if I needed a second to catch my breath I could do it and then get back onto it without anyone judging me. And everyone was really friendly. I will go again and drag my friend with me for some extra motivation.

I had misconceptions about Pure Barre. Figured you had to have ballet experience to do it. Not the case. Its a different kind of work out that Ive never experienced before. Jasmin is a fantastic instructor. Very helpful and supportive throughout every class she leads.

The barre workout, for me, requires an extra degree of mental focus that I have never really tapped into before.Isometric holds combined with high rep, small pulse movements are made much more challenging due to proper posture & positioning. Not only do my muscles fatigue & shake, my mind is 100% engaged, simultaneously correcting/adjusting my breathing & posture with reminders to relax my shoulders & be ever-conscious of the placement of my feet/heels/hips/knees.Yes, I’m sore. Yes, my hamstrings feel like fire. Yes, I am slowly gaining strength & endurance. But the mind/body connection — a newly discovered opportunity to hone my physical AND mental control — now that is a total body workout.

I am new to pure barre,and I have really enjoyed the classes, I have noticed changes in my body, in just 11 classes and that keeps me devoted.The instructors help you to keep your form right to make sure you get the most out of each workout, I recommend taking a class to see if it is something you want to change up your workouts.

I have enjoyed learning this form of workout. I have some herniated discs in my neck and since this is no impact my joints have given me no issues at all. And five classes in and I can already tell my clothes fit differently. Each class gets better and better.

If you want a work out that challenges you mentally and physically, this is the one for you. The instructors acknowledge you right when you enter the door and throughout class. They can make one slight adjustment to your body position and you will really feel it and shake. I️ still feel sore from last night’s class!

When my friends asked me to try this out, I was very skeptical. After all, I am pretty fit and walk at least 45 miles a week. However, after my first class, I walked (I use that term loosely because it felt more like crawling) away shaking. To me, thats the sign of a great workout! Dont worry, it only hurts the first few times (LOL). The class is low intesity, but focuses on holding your poses, and toning muscle. I am in LOVE with Pure Barre and highly recommend that you try it!
