Clean and great service! 👍🏼

Ive had a good experience at this planet fitness last year. Im planning on joining again soon since my work schedule is good now. Just wish the weight area was bigger. Not enough benches or cables. The gym is always clean tho!

Had some problems in the beginning when it came to billing versus specials that were advertised but after three or four different calls we got it fixed up. None of this was frustrating her upsetting I didnt lose any of my benefits from the gym and every single team member that talked to me was polite and helpful to resolve the matter I love it there great environment funny people No Judgment Zone!

This was my first time at a planet fitness and I must say that I was impressed. They have a great facility for the monthly fee. I think their judgment free policy is actually shaping the atmosphere of their gym for the good. We went mid morning and there were plenty of machines open for use. We never had to wait for a machine we wanted.

Was a member and during Covid had a late payment- they charged 170.00 in club fees after taking my monthly amount out. I will never use this company again.

Horrible gym flooded with cardio machinesKaren’s and unfit people that make no changes because this place offers free pizza and bagels, no barbells no squat racks no benches. Cannot lift heavy without some stupid alarm going off, very very branded and filled with unnecessary things such as 50 cardio machines which takes up half the gym.Staff is not even fit or in shape whatsoever was offered personal training by a 200+ lb woman which is god awful I thought it was a joke. Lockers rooms are bad and just as branded as the rest of the gymBad gym never go to a planet fatness

Just moved here from Maryville where I worked out at the Planet Fitness there. They are both nice but I like that I dont have to wait on machines at this one. Staff is great, center is great. The only one thing they had that I miss is the little lockers they had in the workoutarea that had the combination locks built in. Came in handy to toss your keys or phone. I know you have the big lockers in the back but normally just ask if can leave keys at the desk. They are always great about holding them for me. Your big ceiling fans are larger too keeps it cooler so dont get as hot. Great place to workout always feel safe if I go late at night.

One of the things I love about Planet Fitness is the Hydromassage bed. They also have a great variety of equipments which allow beginners to exercise without the fear of doing something wrong. Super recommend!

The people are nice, but the problem is that this location is not 24/7.If Cleveland can be 24/7 in a MUCH smaller city than Chattanooga, then Chattanooga can certainly be 24/7.My first three months is up in a couple of weeks. If its not 24/7 by then, Im switching my membership to Cleveland as a protest. Ill still go to the one on Rte 153, but Cleveland will get credit for the membership.EDIT: I have now, as promised above, switched my membership to Cleveland, TN. I will continue to go to the Chattanooga location because it is closer. But Cleveland will get credit for the membership because of managing to be 24/7 in a MUCH smaller city!This is a protest vote for resumption of 24/7, & I urge others to join me if 24/7 is important to you as well!I may switch back if/when they resume 24/7 here.

Not enough Smith Machines. Bring headphones the music is some of the worst i’ve ever heard for a gym and will get skipped 30 seconds in (if i hear one more soft rock song w lyrics about crying i’ll lose it). Machines go long without being fixed and allocation of certain machines is poor (having one of a popular machine). Workers are kind and hard working far as i can tell.

Great balance of cardio and weights, although they could probably use more free weights as its very difficult to get over there at most times of the day (even when the crowd meter is a 2). They update and keep their equipment in phenomenal shape. Friendly staff... definitely one of the best PFs out there!

The staff and facilities were amazing! I was out of town, so its nice to know I have access to the same facilities as I do at home

I don’t like the layout of this planet fitness. I’m a regular traveler and frequent many plant fitness gyms. This one was clean. But I didn’t love the layout of the gym and machines.

Dropped my earbuds charging case and I really hate to bother people but I had no other choice but to ask for help to find it under treadmill! Went to ask and the workers were so nice and helpful! Great management and everyone is always professional and friendly! So glad I didnt have to buy a new charging case!

This is an excellent Planet Fitness location. It has everything youre looking. Was passing through the area and stopped in for a workout. The place is impressively clean and well maintained. Lots of machines and weight equipment. Friendly staff. Bonus this this is a true 24/7 location.

I mean, its a gym. Depends when you go depends how many people are there, obviously. Cool staff though.

Always nice to find a conveniently located gym. Planet fitness is the best

Masks cover the nose and mouth and are intended to help prevent people who have the virus from transmitting it to others, even if they do not have symptoms. CDC recommends wearing cloth masks in public settings where social distancing measures are difficult to maintain. Masks are recommended as a simple barrier to help prevent respiratory droplets from traveling into the air and onto other people when the person wearing the mask coughs, sneezes, talks, or raises their voice. This is called source control. But not everyone follows the rules (cough cough).

Staff turns the music volume down to 0 or 1 because they say the repetitious music bothers them. So its quiet and no music to work out to. Local management is aware of it and does nothing.

I love Planet Fitness! The facility is clean & the equipment is in good working order & often updated. Theres always plenty of parking & its free. Its a great value for the price of your membership.

Been a bit over critical lately. Talking about myself that is lol. Been going through some things and shouldnt have been so hasty. Good team of people who have been willing to work with me on taking care of myself and my membership. Was planning on canceling but I am going to give the club another shot.

Problems with signing people up!!! They play games and tell me Im a member of Workout Anytime Fitness when Im a member of Planet Fitness. Then they dont let me log into their website to update my billing information and wont take it over the phone either!!!!Ive got proof Im a member through the app and Ive been paying and workout ar Planet Fitness for almost 3 months now !!!!! They are probably trying to make more money getting me to resign up or something!!! Unbelievable!!!!

I thoroughly enjoy my time working out at Planet Fitness. I have exercised at countless other gyms, however I have never felt as comfortable as I do at Planet Fitness. The staff is friendly, the facilities are spotless, and it does not feel to crowded. Im happy that I wound up here!

Now with the mask mandate gone they are struggling to get their customers back. They wrongfully requested mask while working out in between sets. I left because of this and I hope they do shut down. I went to golds gym never had to wear a mask while working out and we’re all still alive go imagine that. I would not give planet fitness a dime of my money.

Worst PF in TN. Over half of the equipment is out of order or doesnt operate properly. Most of the equipment is original to the gym and is past worn out. Corporate needs to take this franchise back and sell it to someone who will run it properly.

Im really getting the hang of it. Its a no judgement zone. The more I go. The more I enjoy my time there.

My first visit told me at my insurance would pay for it and could get their black card but not true j pay 13.03 which is not half of 22. 99 and a yearly 39.99 Maintence fee which they never told me there but over the phone when I saw I was charged for my membership. I have a freeze now as I have not gone much s ii nice march I do not know if it will go back my check gold gyms membership..

There were only 2 carabiners to attach handles on the cable machines in the whole gym . They all seem to be missing . Maybe I had to go check one out at the front desk and didn’t know it, or they have all been lifted in someone’s gym bag ... either way it made trying to get my full workout in very inconvenient. From what other members have said it’s been this way for an extended period of time .Otherwise the gym is clean and fairly well kept.

Love the location but hate the showers! No water pressure at all! Friendly and helpful staff

Sadie with Planet Fitness is amazing. During hard times she was very sweet to me and took her time helping me figure finances out. She definitely deserves a raise! I highly recommend this location.

I started working out in July now January Ive lost 53 pounds and Im in better shape than Ive been since high school the staff is courteous and if you need help just ask and they will do whatever is in their power to make your experience great two thumbs up

So clean. Customer service is awesome. The enforce social distancing and masks. I feel safe here. I wanted to shoutout to Candace she has been so sweet to people if they are not following the policies. She kindly and assertively enforces them and Does it in a non condescending way. Keep employees like this. They are 100% necessary during these times. Keeping the peace but enforcing rules. She needs to be promoted. She’s manager material.

If gym doesnt close until a certain, workers should not shut equipment down early just because you dont want to do your job when the club closes. Member pays to use features until club closes.

Love working out here but the new wave of people to enroll text on machines to much. So it takes extra time to complete my workout.

I’ve been coming to this location for over 5 years. The current staff is exceptional - best ever! Kudos to manager, Ivan, to morning staff, Sadie, Candace, Koty, and Alexander. Through remodeling and updating, you always manage to keep the place very clean and equipment serviced and running. It’s a huge job but I believe I speak for all of your members who greatly appreciate everything you do- and with a smile! Thanks so much!

Equipment always broke and no one ever wears a mask. People just dont care about anyones health here.

Have to give them five stars just for the simple fact that they are still in business. Being a former body builder in the 80s now age 72- I have to say PLANET FITNESS has everything you need GYM WISE to get you in decent shape. There was a time when I thought gym like this were a joke. BUT NOW I SAY LETS GET SERIOUS and get started. Everything you could possibly need is there. IF I TRAIN THERE AND I AM STILL VERY SERIOUS you should be there too. I DO LIKE THE FACT THAT THE MUSLEHEADS DONT RULE THE GYM.

Very nice and clean facility. Staff very professional, friendly and accommodating when and if you need anything. Nice equipment that seems to get updated regularly and equipment never appears old or outdated. Ladies bathroom and shower well kept and clean. I have definitely made this one of my go to locations.

Reopened!! Must wear a mask, even though email from PF did not state this requirement. I agree with wearing a mask, but in my two visits since reopening, the staff is not monitoring to make sure people are following the rule. Some People just letting their mask rest on their neck and many exposing their nose, with mask only over their mouth. Stay away until this group and customers learn to be responsible adults.

This gym is always so clean and the equipment is up to date. Very nice place to work out. I have visited several in the area and this one is by far the best.

I came from NC to visit my best friend here in TN. I decide to go to the gym on my Vacation. The second I step in ; I saw how clean and neat the place is. It’s really clean even the bathrooms . No dust at all. Really impressed with the cleanliness . The negative part is that is really small and it get packed. Great job on cleanliness !

With a friendly face greeting me as I walked through the door, and a welcoming atmosphere, this is a wonderful place to get your pump on/lose wight. The equipment is clean and in good repair with plenty to do for the average person. The music is terrible though, so bring some headphones.

I decided to join Planet fitness for several reasons - a travel and need a fitness center with multiple locations, I keep odd hours and want a facility open 24 hrs/day 7 days per week, I like to use tanning beds occasionally, and I really don’t like having to pay a lot of money for things when I don’t have to do it. Planet fitness came highly recommended from several friends and family members and I can definitely see why they were so excited about it.’For $20 per month I can go to any club I want, take a guest, tan, then workout and clean up in a facility that is always new-appearing, clean, and well-maintained.I’ve never had problems with not being able to use a treadmill or elliptical trainer - they have plenty for everyone. The machines are clean, well-maintained and I almost never have to wait fo the machine I want to use. They have some free weights to use as well.I have not yet begun to use all the amenities at this club, but still feel I get way more than I pay out every month.Great place to work out. Great bargain. Can’t recommend it more highly. if you want a convenient, clean, safe, inexpensive way to workout without all the usual grunting, groaning, and macho man posing that goes on in so many gyms - this is definitely the place.

I travel a lot for work and Iv been to many planet fitness gyms and this is the worst one Iv ever been to. Missing parts to equipment and bad staff.

This Planet Fitness just opened back up this week following the state shelter at home period. It was so frustrating with the inconsistent rules for COVID prevention. They stated that masks must be worn the entire time while in the building but we saw and reporting instances of people taking their masks off (even employees) while in the building. We reporting these things and staff apologized but enforcement still sporadic. We are looking at other gym options. The couple below came in wearing masks but took them off when they worked out on the treadmills. We reported them to staff but this was not addressed while we were in the building.

The gym is ok but the evening staff is terrible. They are currently remodeling the place and I totally understand there will be some issues. Well the water fountain is being replaced so there isn’t any water and instead of giving you water they expect you to buy it. Come to find out if you complain about water fountain being out of service they will give you a free water but you need to complain! What kind of establishment are they running here? The same issue happened to me in Denver CO and the staff was on top of it. They offered a free water to every member that walked in the door, explained the issue and made sure every member was taken care of. I’m sure this is coming from management. I really hope Planet Fitness makes the proper changes at this location.

Been going here for 2 years now. It is a fairly good gym, the staff is always friendly and when I go it is never too crowded. Sometimes I do wish that the corporate would add more to the gym, however that is asking a little much I guess. However, I would suggest for the staff to be a little bit more attentive to the cleanliness and restocking of paper towels etc. around the gym. All around not a bad gym.

This is a very clean gym. And the staff has all been professional and very nice. Im visiting from out of town. And my experience has been very good at this gym. I mean really clean! LolThe bathroom has been consistently clean every single day. Thats rare. I go at random times and never saw an issue at any time that I went. The Staff here is on their top game

Came in around 1 a.m. and it was great! The parking lot was empty so getting a truck in there was no problem. The young men we dealt with were just amazing! Thank you Trenton (and your co-worker) for the awesome customer service! Him and his co-worker cleaned non-stop while we were there and were just so nice. We will definitely stop in again!

Very clean place

I would love to give this location 5 stars. I’ve been coming here for almost 2 years. I love the staff. This location is right in the middle of where I live and where I work. But it’s always packed. I’ve come in at 4am, 6am, 8am, all times in the afternoon. It doesn’t matter. This place stays packed. Which is a great thing for the business. But the weight lifting section is always full. The chances of you finding an open cable machine or bench without having to stand and wait for at least 10 minutes is slim to none. And it doesn’t help that the section is so tiny. Like, it’s smaller than the 30 minute circuit that’s barely used. There’s nothing more annoying than having to turn a 40 minute workout into a 2 hour one because you’re sitting waiting on the one 60 pound barbell to be with, or trying to get some core workouts done while you wait only to find the stretching section completely full because there’s a class going on (I do think it’s awesome PF has classes I just wish they were like the other locations and had a separate area for them.) There really needs to be another PF opened in this area, and this one desperately needs a remodel.

Very nice facility, the staff is awesome. Assistant mgr Carly and front desk Darea are wonderful very helpful with my account and helping me out in the gym. Love it so far and cant beat the prices.

I joined the gym about 2 years ago. I am still here! The gym is clean and the staff is really friendly. No high pressured sales, just a nice easy going place to workout. All body types welcome! Personal trainer available at NO COST to you. No hidden fees just $10 a month or $20 for tanning and hydro massage beds. By far the best deal in town.You will love it!

This is my now home, go to gym. The staff is nice and like most planet fitness gyms you get the same thing at all of them. A nice set of machines and not enough benches to use the free weights. Still, it has everything you need at a price that really cant be beat when you consider all of the available options.

Personally, I love the whole get up that planet fitness has going on. I absolutely love love love that they are open 24/7 - thats a deal breaker for me as a night shift nurse who stays on that night shift time even on my days off. Ive been here anywhere from 1am to 3am to 3pm.. every time I work out no matter the time of day there is always someone cleaning the machines. Between the staff and everyone else wiping the machines before & after their workouts I think its safe to say theyre pretty clean -and in good shape on top of that. I havent seen any frayed seats or machines coming apart.I actually really like the vast amount of treadmills and workout machines. Ive never had an issue not being able to use a certain machine or treadmill because there just arent enough.Everyone has been pretty friendly so far - especially the staff. They always have big genuine smiles on their faces when I come and go, and they are always up for answering any questions I have. I like that even at night there are more than one of the employees present to run the show, so they never are short staffed.I do sometimes wish that planet fitness would invest in a pool and steam room and sauna like some of these other places, but the unlimited tanning, clean showers, nice locker rooms, and free classes make up for it. There are so many options, and honestly I would only use the pool once or twice anyway.Would definately recommend planet fitness. And I say just pay the extra 10 dollars for a black card. Its nice to have access to all they have to offer and be able to bring someone to planet fitness for free. 👍🏻

GOOD PLACE TO START AT FOR A FEW YEARS

Be careful not to leave anything. PF does not have lost-and-found service, but they dont tell you. If the cleaning crew see anything left there, they toss it. And if you ask them about it, they deny it with an innocent look. If you go to the front desk to ask, they will pretend to look for it. But their lost-and-found cabinets are empty. So far I lost 2 bottles of shampoo, 2 nice travel bottles (which are no longer available on the market) , and 2 wrist braces (which are not cheap). I went to gyms in other cities in the past. And if I forgot things there, usually the gym kept them in the lost-and-found shelf. PF fails miserable on this.

Good place to burn calories and release stress

I love that Planet Fitness doesnt support the arrogant bodybuilders it allows me to build my confidence and get in shape at the same time without anyone looking down on me. It is over crowded because everyone wants to be a member there, but I do enjoy my membership. I LOVE PURPLE!

I enjoy this gym a lot. Staff friendly. Great price......less of a meat market which allows me to get a good workout without the distractions....though there a few but they are unintentional

I love the atmosphere and they have a good variety in the equipment they own.

My review is due to an encounter I had with an employee a while back. Every time I came to the counter to buy a drink or get a token for the chairs he would always be on the phone or just not pay me attention and when I’m in workout mode I hate waiting. When I asked him why I had to wait so long his manager stepped I. But still it made me cancel my membership. I’m at golds gym now. It don’t happen there. The guy had like a funny hair cut where he had a bang in the front. Skinny guy. I don’t remember his name.
