I’ve been to Strand Salon a few times now and am never disappointed. This past summer Brooke did a perm and cut and was so helpful with helping me figure out what style perm I wanted and how to care for it. This winter Hannah colored my hair and did a fantastic job! I love this place

I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS SALON!!! It was the best haircut I have gotten in 4 to 5 years. Every other haircut I had gotten beforehand was totally wrong choppy and not what I wanted. When I walked into the salon and explained what kind of haircut I like the woman who was going to cut my hair knew exactly what I was talking about. I had scheduled it for a dry haircut because the other haircuts I had gotten were wet hair and I have really thick hair so theyre not able to see what theyre doing with the layers. I gave the woman a $20 tip because I was so excited with the results because she did it perfectly and I intend on going again and nowhere else.

I went to The Strand Salon today for the first time and I loved it. I saw Kate and just went for a cut because my curls desperately needed a cut. She did so wonderful to help increase my volume and curls. She really listened to what I wanted. Also, great personality. The atmosphere was awesome too!

I moved to Chattanooga about 2-3 months ago and my first task was to find a salon! I visited The Strand and Tracey was my stylist. I have since returned and will continue to return as she is wonderful! Every time I go, I give her the GO, do what you think will make me look and feel good and she never fails! Her Assistant is also very good and training with the best!The entire staff is very friendly and Covid followers to the core! It’s a very live vibe there and the greatest atmosphere! Super cute salon and very clean. Very affordable too! However, the hairstylist who cut my hair claimed that she was great at cutting curly hair but then WASHED my hair before cutting wet. Any curly girl knows that that’s a recipe for disaster. It turned out fine as I’m not super attached to the length of my hair but I’m just writing this as a word of caution to any of my curly hair people!

Really nice salon in a great location (West Village downtown). The staff is friendly, and I was really satisfied with my shampoo, cut, and style. I was worried to go out for a haircut because of COVID, but they’re taking every precaution and I felt very safe, comfortable, and welcome the whole time. Definitely recommend!

You have to get your hair done here. Amazing!I found this salon by accident and what a happy accident! I had a cut, fantasy color, blow out and brow wax with Tracy. She and her assistant, Meghan, were both just amazing. I had so much fun and even though my color was really challenging, they never made me feel like they were rushing to complete it. I was in the salon for nearly 7 hours and yet I felt so at home.Whats to love:1. Personal and delightful service.2. Your stylist and apprentice will absolutely listen to you, advise you andshare the amazing journey with you.3. Sitting under the heat lamp (usually my least favorite task) is AWESOME because you sit in a heated massage chair. . . WHAT??!!4. The place smells amazing. They have wax burning in the bathroom. The products dont stink.5. Its a GREEN salon. Good for you and the earth.6. Cold beverages of many varieties.I felt like longtime friends with the amazing team there, even some of the stylists and assistants who werent working with me. And my hair? Katy did a phenomenal job! Book her today for any of your coloring needs. She gave me exactly what I wanted and more. I went from long brown hair to short blunt bob platinum blonde. It came out a bit lavender which she warned me about and said it would wash away after a couple washes. And although I didn’t initially want lavender I was so in love with what she did I kind of wish the lavender would stay. She is wonderful at what she does and I will definitely go back to her. Also extremely fairly priced!!

After moving to Chattanooga late this summer I needed to find someone who could color and cut my hair. I had been with my last stylist for 13 years and she was the best. So I started to dig into google and read reviews about many of the salons in the area. I found that the Strand Salon has the best reviews and there were a lot. So I first tried a cut and now today I had a color and OH MY GOSH! TEagan did a fabulous job! She is very conscientious of what you are wanting and very sweet. If I could give Strand Salon over a 5 star rating I would! Great great salon!!

I followed Rachel since she was at another salon and was so excited when she took the leap to open her own place. She has consistently given me excellent cuts. I love the vibe of this salon! Debbie always does such a wonderful job with my bangs! Parking is a bit of a pain but is almost to be expected in downtown. They carry products with no chemicals and I love the dry shampoo. The girls at the front desk are always so helpful and always offer me a coffee or beverage. I got my hubby to come with me and even though he is very picky with his hair, Debbie won him over!

I LOVE this place!! I went in for the first time yesterday to get my first pixie cut, and Tracy did such an amazing job!! The salon itself has such a cute laid-back vibe. Tracy sat down and made sure she understood exactly what I wanted, and she kept me calm the whole time (I told her how nervous I was). After my hair dried she took the time to go back over and tweak my hair until we agreed it was exactly what I wanted. Ive never been so happy with a haircut before and I dont want anyone else to touch my hair!

What a wonderful place. We were in town for a wedding and my mom needed to have her hair done. They were so nice to open early to fit her in. The stylist was wonderful and gave my mom some great tips on her hair. They really help make the day wonderful.

This is an excellent salon. It’s owner Rachel is so delightful. She has attracted a great variety of talent, fun personalities, unique and great depth of experiences. All this to bring to Chattanooga a one of a kind full service salon for both men and women. From the time you walk in until the time you leave every team member is there to make you feel like the most special individual in the establishment . I know from experience it rivals several of the well known high end salons of Atlanta . We are so blessed to have all this talent so close to all of us in the greater chattanooga area.

I was incredibly satisfied with my experience. The stylist listened to what I wanted and the cost was incredibly reasonable. A dry cut cost me only $35 (pre-tip) and took around 45 minutes. This is saying a Iot because have a ton of hair.
