My bridal party was impressed for several reasons with the Southside Salon & Spa. The space is typically closed on Sundays, but my wedding was going to fall on the Monday afterward. Nikki and her colleague were willing to come in on their day off to be able to service only myself and the bridal party. Great work, lots of stories, good communication, and very relaxing. Felt like family & loved the space.

Ive seen Jennifer now three times, and shes got my noggin figured out. Excellent haircut, affordable and friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend Southside!

Jennifer has been cutting my hair for years and I love it.Its a carefree stylish cut at a great price and since I go every 4 weeks price is important to me.Instead of pushing me to color my hair as other salons have done Jennifer works with me to keep it healthy and natural.The Salon is clean and bright in a lovely historic building.There’s a good selection of quality products available for purchase so my hair looks just as good when I do it myself at home.I get so many compliments on my hair which makes me very happy.I definitely recommend the Southside Salon.

From head to toe they have you covered and I’ve tried it all. Check out Daphne for a facial, Nikki for your fingers & toes or even your eyebrows, they along with Jennifer, Marissa and Yolanda will have you walking out of there feeling your absolute best.

I found this location earlier this year, I wanted to do something nice for my wife as a gift. My wife had a wonderful experience from Ms. Daphne, very personable, friendly and all around exceptional customer service. My wife returned the favor to me for my 43rd birthday, my arranged for me to have a Reflexology session on my ankles and legs and Daphne did an outstanding job, the entire staff are friendly and professional, we will be back.

Went to the Southside Salon/Spa today for a spa day, I had a great experience! Jennifer gave an excellent haircut and style, she really listens to you and gives exactly what you want. She is great!Niki the nail & pedicure specialist took care of all my problems areas and I left there feeling so good! Very skilled!Had a fabulous massage with Daphne, she was so good! I feel like a new woman! Have had 30 years of massage, never had one as complete as this one.Really nice salon with all the offerings you want for individual services or a complete spa day!Highly recommend. Well worth your time.

I would give 10 stars if I could! Jennifer @ Southside has been doing my hair for years and I cant imagine going to anyone else. She always cuts it just the way I ask her to - not too much as some stylist love to do. My hair always looks amazing when I leave her chair. She is also an expert with color. I get compliments on the cut and the color everywhere I go. I cannot recommend Southside enough! And now they have added a spa! Cant wait to check that out!

Ive recieved excellent spa services from Daphne and hair services from Yolanda. Yolandas cuts, her suggestions for products, and her tips for maintenance at home are allowing me to regrow my hair so much healthier than before I started going to Southside Salon. I recieve so many compliments about my healthy hair.Daphne helped me pick the right services for me when I showed up saying I want a facial for the first time in my life. What an experience! I felt so pampered. And Daphnes treatments permanently removed dark marks on my neck.Everyone here has helped me look and feel my best every visit. Thank you, Southside!

This is a great place with awesome professionals!Ive bleached my hair and it was a disaster. My hair was orange and my roots turned out yellow. But Valerie did a great job with my hair! She was able to bring me back to my original color and help restore my hair. I love the haircut that she gave me. I felt so comfortable there. Awesome service!

I absolutely love it here. Everyone is so welcoming and professional. The atmosphere is great, natural lighting, open space, very comfortable. I had gotten my hair done at another salon in the downtown area, as Ive done for 2 years with no issues, but this time was a disaster. My hair color was so boring and flat and not at all what I had requested. I went back to get it fixed, but I think it honestly looked worse... Which I didnt think was even possible. When I went to Southside Salon, Marissa took the time to actually understand what I wanted. She gave me exactly the color that had been wanting. I would definitely recommend, and Ill be making this my go to salon.

Valerie did a horrible job on my friends hair today and was really rude about it. The owner watched it all happen and didn’t step in until the second time she went in and she still didn’t get what she asked for. My friend ended up being here for over 5 hours total today and the final product still wasn’t what she wanted. I watched almost all of it happen and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone and I absolutely will not get any work done here.

Southside Salon & Spa is so cute :) i haven’t gotten my hair cut in a while and they were so welcoming and i got lots of tips for how to keep my hair healthy with their new products! I will be coming back!

I got my hair cut here today, before the stylist started i told her i wanted a good cutand style,I showed her a picture of a haircut that I had gotten before and did not like,She actually gave me the same cut mines a few bangs. I AM PISSED!A total waste of my time and money.If you are looking for a nice style and good cut I suggest you dont look for it here.

I have been going to see Jen and Marissa for over 15 years. They have helped me as I transition from mess of hair to less of hair. A fun place with lots of laughs while they make the most of what I have left.

I went here after my girlfriend recommended it to me. She had a great experience and told me to go. They are very friendly and will make sure you get what you ask for.
