Really beautiful salon and very nice and professional and clean and the cut I wanted was done however it is far shorter than I wanted it. Conflicted about how I feel about it the cut itself is great and cute just too short.

Kathryn Ross was wonderful. She did an excellent job on my teenage daughters hair and was very kind and friendly.

I am not a local but was in the area visiting family and my hair needed some love. I found stylist Erica at Nicos online and booked with her on a whim. I enjoyed my visit - the salon atmosphere is very casual and the building itself is historic and well utilized. Erica was very sweet and did a great job with my cut and color. Would recommend wholeheartedly.

I have a hard time finding stylists who do well with my fine straight hair, but I found one here! Noelle has been doing a great job with my hair! I love the cut and always enjoy my time at the salon. The space is unique & comfortable, the staff is friendly & talented, and their pricing is comparable to other salons of this quality. I recommend you give them a try!

I was able to get an appointment the same day I called. I met with Erica for the first time and she did a great job! I appreciate her attention to detail and meticulous work. She stayed after closing time to finish styling my hair and she never made me feel rushed. I will definitely be back and will recommend her to friends!

Ive been going to Shae Luke since before she was at Nicos Salon. As much as I like to say that shes the only person I trust with my curly locks, if she were to move away I would feel comfortable having any of the Nicos team cut, color, and style my hair. They are all very professional and do an excellent job, especially with color (normal, fantasy, and fixing others botched jobs).

Shae is awesome! The entire staff was very professional and courteous. Shae was very complimentary on my hair and made a lot of suggestions while still listening to what I liked. I came away with great color and style. The atmosphere was laid back and comfortable. Ive been to many salons in the past that are really stuck up and cliche, but not here. Even though there was a lot of coloring happening, I didnt smell any strong fumes. The place was very clean and even included a coffee bar. Dont go anywhere else! If you ask for Shae, tell her Elizabeth sent you.

What an incredible experience I had. This was my first time coming to Nicos. I was quickly greeted when I walked into this INCREDIBLE historic building. Gina was very friendly and made me feel welcomed. My hair. Has NEVER felt or looked better. Thank you so much Gina. 😘

I went to Nicos on the recommendation of a friend, because I asked where she got her hair cut, and she goes to Nicos. Unfortunately, I wasnt given the hair cut I asked for. The stylist said she would blend and even out my hair as much as possible at the length it was at , which was 4. When I left my hair was 1-2 long all over and the length I asked to leave in the back was gone, my hair was cut to the hairline in back. I never have it cut to the hairline! It wasnt a happy experience, I hid for 4 weeks until I had at least some growth coming in. I will try elsewhere.

This place sucks. I asked for highlights and they weren’t done right at all. They want to decide how to do your hair and on top they pull you hair so freaking bad. And for what I paid for it was not worth it. 100% don’t recommend it to no one. And the reason why this color on my hair looks bad is also because they didn’t have the right color!! And put another one on

I am so glad that I made the decision to have my hair done at Nicos. My stylist, Ric, who has 15 years of experience was amazing. He took time to listen to my hair story and to examine my hair, and afterwards he knew exactly what my hair needed cut and color-wise. I am very, very pleased with the results and I am confident that my hair will be restored to its original condition if I keep seeing him. The salon itself is beautiful and unique, and the entire staff is welcoming, and the best part is you receive star treatment at an affordable price. Salon Nico is a must try!

I trust all of their stylists, but Kelly is AMAZING. Any stylist who refers to my hair as her masterpiece and takes her time asking for feedback and further direction along the way is the kind of person I want doing my ombre. Not to mention the cool atmosphere!

Wow! I cant write highly enough of my experience. While traveling in Chattanooga, Nicos Salon was able to get me in for a same-day appointment. I was lucky to have Adafo as my stylist: he was warm and welcoming, and he introduced me to tea tree oil as a scalp treatment, which felt wonderful. Adafo took such great care of my hair - it was an amazing haircut! If I was in Chattanooga longer, I would be back in Adafos chair in a heartbeat!

Shae is awesome! I have curly hair and it is hard to find someone to cut properly, but Shae always gives me a great haircut! I cant imagine letting anyone else cut my hair ever again.

Great staff and great atmosphere

Went to have a choppy, angled bob haircut I recieved elsewhere smoothed out by Scooter. Ended leaving with my hair far shorter than necessary, feeling like I had been totally blindsided, and bullied into a haircut that the stylist wanted to do, without caring that I was the one who had to live with it. During the cut i even expressed that I was very nervous about how much hair was being cut, and was told that he found it amusing when clients were nervous about what he was doing because it was just hair. Let them know after leaving that I was unhappy, and they were not at all understanding. Will not be returning.
