Christa Marie has been cutting my hair (and my familys) for many years. I followed her to Melis Salon and have been very satisfied with the move. The salon is a welcoming and professional environment and the ladies working are very friendly and dedicated to making your hair look exactly how you would like it. I have difficult hair that is tricky to work with but Christa is very good at being patient and works diligently to give me the haircut I desire. In addition to this, Melis Salons prices are very reasonable for the high quality of work they perform. It is for these reasons that I would highly recommend Melis Salon (and Christa) to anyone who is looking for a new place to get their hair done.

Christa is the best! I wanted a blue underlayer in my hair but the color didnt take the first time. She was able to get it to look like I always wanted. Everyone here is super friendly and Im happy to say Ive found the salon I will continue to go back to.

A Beautiful, friendly, happy place to be. Oh yes. . . and theyre absolute ARTISTS when it comes to hair! Today I asked my stylist, Reva, what the favorite part of her job is and she said, Connecting with my clients, you know, making friends so to speak, to better understand what they want and need me to do. You know, its all about the positive connection. Good answer, I thought! Theres somebody who cares! As does every single one of Melis Salon girls. As I was pampered through my extensive cut/color/foils appointment, I watched many beautifully coiffed customers leave as they happily ran their fingers through their new do. Every one of them was smiling. Obviously they are doing something VERY RIGHT at Melis Salon.

Good haircut every time! The barbers are real hairstylists. The place is conveniently located. You dont need to make an appointment for you to be served. Just love this place.

This is DEFINITELY a destination salon worth EVERY penny!!! I drive 40 minutes to get my haircut by Miss Skinny Fingers, a.k.a. Christa, because shes been the only stylist in the last 10 yrs. who can cut (with scissors) my hair short without it looking like a buzz cut!!!
