Blakeney Dental doctors and staff are excellent, they examine thoroughly and explain each and everything in detail. Specially Dr. Ranzinger and his team is awesome. This is highly recommended dental clinic.

We have been patients of Blakeney Dental since moving from Atlanta in 2012. From the front desk, the hygienist and the Dr. everyone is always friendly and professional.My family would recommend Blakeney Dental to anyone looking for a new dentist.

I came in this morning for an emergency dentist appointment. The experience from start to finish was nothing less than spectacular. Sonya at the front desk was extremely kind and helpful. As well as the rest of staff and the doctor. If I lived in Charlotte I would definitely become a patient at their office. Lovely people and great vibes.

I had an issue with my front tooth and Dr. R. took care of it beautifully! Looks like a new tooth with minimal time and effort. I really appreciated his care during the entire process.

Very pleasant experience, the facility is nice and the staff is friendly. I was apprehensive as I had not been to a dentist in many years, the hygienist Melissa was very friendly and helped put my mind at ease. She was quick in her work and there was no discomfort at all. I will be recommending this location for the rest of my family as well.

The staff is very friendly. Make you feel comfortable in what could be an uncomfortable time. Very efficient and explain what they are doing along the way. Price is very competitive with great quality work!!!!

Great dentist! Wonderful experience as a first time patient. I was able to book an appointment that wasn’t months out. Dr. Ranzinger was able to fit me during my routine cleaning to address a small cavity. Very gentle technique and thoroughly explained the process.

Dr. Ranzinger is probably the best dentist that Blakeney Dental Associates has had since we have been going there the last four years. He is very knowledgeable and keeps his patients calm and in the know of what is going on, even with kids. I hope he stays around because he’s great at what he does.

I was recommended to Dr. Ranzinger by a coworker when I had a problem with a crown someone else placed on my teeth. Dr. Ranzinger corrected the issue and earned my trust because he was thorough and he and his staff are professional, kind, and caring. He does a great job making sure you are comfortable throughout your entire visit. I highly recommend he and his team for your dental needs.

Dr Ranzinger went out of his way to make sure my front tooth was fixed to his liking and mine. He made sure I saw what was going on as he went from one part to the next. I felt comfortable and at complete ease. This visit was easy and pain free. I didnt even feel the needle in my gums. The staff was so patient and kind. this crew and doc are the best! I highly recommend them!

My family, friends, and colleagues have been going to Dr. Ramos for the last several years. He is the best dentist in town and one of the best I have ever been to. Not only is he a great dentist; he is honest, ethical, kind, patient, and an all around stand up guy. Blakeney Dental was lucky to have such a wonderful person on their team. Recently I showed up for my appointment and was told that the owners very abruptly let him go as a business decision , which seemed odd to me. Prior to my apt I received the normal automated voicemail, email, and text message reminding me of my apt with Dr. Ramos. Not once did I receive a phone call letting me know I would be not seeing him.The manager claimed she had been calling patients to inform them. I was never informed. I have an 8 month child and I had to pay a sitter to watch him in order to go to this apt. Once I arrived, I told the front desk person I had an apt with Dr. Ramos but all she was concerned about was if I had insurance or not. Once I answered she said, well just to let you know, you will not be seeing Dr. Ramos, he is no longer with us since last week and her and the manager tried to convince me to stay and see the new dentist. I told them this was very unprofessional of them to inform me this way and not prior to my appointment. It was very inconvenient and costly to pay someone to take care of my son. Dr. Ramos is my dentist and I will be loyal to him. It is hard to find a good and trustworthy dentist. I will find out where Dr. Ramos is practicing and my family and referrals will no longer be going to such an unethical and unprofessional office. The whole situation was inappropriately handled. It seems to me that at Blakeney Dental, all they care about is money, not patient care. DO NOT GO HERE!

I had no wait once I arrived for my appointment and Dr. Ranzinger talked me through the entire process. He was very reassuring and efficient.

Best dentist and staff I had in the last 2 decades, and I am really surprised they are not 5 stars, they go above and beyond to make you happy and no extra charges or rip off and up above all very good to excellent WORK, because at the end if the day who cares if you are treated like king and everything goes won’t with the dental work!I live in Waxhaw and very easy 4 miles,Had 3-4 dentists before this office and all were subpar and no plans on changing anytime soonThe whole team rocks

Blakeney Dental is one of the best dental practices in Blakeney. The staff and doctor is the most professional experience I have ever had. From the moment I called to make an appointment, to visiting the practice. The practice is so clean and very professional. If you want a place to call home, go to Blakeney dental.

Dr. Ranzinger is always a pleasure to see. He is very patient, takes his time to explain his findings and has a calming nature. I couldn’t recommend him enough!

Great office once they answer phones to actually schedule an appointment with them or see them. You can sometimes find yourself calling and leaving messages to no return calls or anything.

Dr Ranzinger and his staff have been extremely helpful to me with a variety of my dental issues, Despite having a busy practice, I’m almost always able to schedule an appt. within a few days of my calling and receive a response to my email or phone questions often the same day. I’ve consulted many dentists in my life, and it’s rare I’ve found one as knowledgeable, accommodating, concerned and detailed as Dr. Ranzinger.

This is my second post for Blakeney Dental. I am very satisfied with their scheduling flexibility, staff, and location. Dr. Ranzinger is outstanding and the whole team are outstanding!

I was a patient of Dr. Ramos there for the duration of time Ive lived in the area and was VERY happy with him and his staff. Then, unexpectedly I was told he had left when I went in for some work. I would have preferred to have been told before my arrival. Then his Hygienist left and then the Dentist who replaced him subsequently left. So, theres obviously something unstable or wrong going on at this practice. Its not out of disrespect to the new employees. Im sure they are competent and professional. However, as one who has an irrational fear of Dentists to begin with, a little stability and notice is preferred. I will note that they did e-mail me the replacement of Dr. Ramos replacement, but I decided to look elsewhere.

Dr Ramos is no longer at Blakeney dentistry!!! The only reason we came to this office was because we loved Dr Ramos. With Dr Ramos gone we will never go back to this office. Dr Ramos was ethical and cared for his patients. He took time to explain things in detail. Patient care was his first priority, not just trying to make as much money as possible or rushing through procedures to get as many patients as possible.A good dentist who is extremely ethical is hard to find so we will go where ever Dr Ramos goes. It is ashame this office let such a great dentist go.

I brought my elderly mother here for a 6 month cleaning and exam. She has Humana Medicare Advantage, which requires us to use an in-network dentist and my personal dentist of 10 years is not part of it. The whole staff here at Blakeney Dental was very nice! Dr. Ranzinger gave a thorough exam and made sensible recommendations, rather than just trying to sell services. Yes, she has bone loss and a lot of old fillings, but at 86 years of age, we arent looking to replace everything just for the heck of it. Just looking to help her maintain and to fix any problems she might be experiencing. Dr. Ranzinger indicated that there was one tooth that was about ready to fall apart and suggested we fill just that one tooth to head off any problems. He let me look in her mouth and see the tooth, and I can definitely see his point, so Mom is going back next week to get it shored up.

Blakeney Dental has incompetent people working at their front desk. While I actually do like Dr. Ramos, we will NOT be going back. they have screwed up so many times, Im sick and tired of having to call there and try to get things sorted out.Melissa actually had the nerve to call me a liar, because they told us something regarding our insurance that they are now saying they never said. This has happened more than once.. not to mention the fact that they didnt code our kids appointments correctly so they werent covered by insurance and had the nerve to say they just went ahead and wrote it off, when it was their screw up in the first place. Or the fact that they tried charging me a no show when I called to cancel due to having strep throat.. and guess what? Tried calling me a liar that time too saying I never called when I DID and she found that out when she went searching.They clearly dont know how to run a front desk and I hope Dr. Ramos finds better people, because he is a good dentist and has lost our whole family as a patient due to their inability to do their job and for being rude to patients.

Excellent + much care taken during my cleaning and exam. Hygienist was extremely gently and took her time to do a great job. The Dentist took her time to explain her concerns and offered advise on best way to treat my special issues due to a genetic bleeding disorder I have called HHT or also known as Osler Weber Rendu Syndrome. She is a kind, gentle person and very attentive. The office staff was very friendly and helpful. The office is very close to home, they take you on time, every time and do a great job in a timely manner. I highly recommend Blakeney Dental!

Blakeney Dental has a new management team under the leadership of Dr. Andy Ramos. The existing poor reviews here are for the old management team under the leadership of Dr. Steven H. Ghim who along with his team is no longer associated with this practice. Dr. Ramos practices dentistry with highest form of ethics and integrity. Blakeney Denal is in-network with all the major insurance carriers.

I was a patient of Dr. Ramos and I suddenly found out he was no longer there at my last appointment. No one at Blakeney did even care to email to us about the change. I now switched to another dentist and I am glad I did it. I now keep getting calls from Blakeney even after I told them I no longer with them. Bad service and did not care about their patients.

Dr Ranzinger is very very good!
