I hadn’t been to a dentist in years and it finally caught up with me. I went to Dr. Harlow’s office this morning for a root canal and everything went extremely well. Shonna and team were absolutely amazing! Dr. Harlow turned a terrible situation into a pleasant experience. Great team, great Dr!

I went to Dr.Harlows office with a dental emergency and was scheduled an appointment ASAP. When I got to the office all of the staff were very professional, knowledgeable and sweet! Dr. Harlow and his assistant Summer had me in and out within AN HOUR!! They are truly some of the best in the Charlotte area, don’t hesitate.

Weve been in Charlotte a little over 4 years. After 2 dentists that did nothing but try to upsell and give us cursory service we have finally found our dentist with Dr Harlow. He is the consummate professional and everyone who works there is wonderful. We have been patients for a year and a half and we would recommend this place to everyone. Dr Harlows staff who perform the cleanings and X-Rays are all excellent, thorough, and just great with people. The front desk staff are excellent as well.

Dr. Harlow was kind, calm & patient with my 15 year old daughter. She previously did not have a good experience with her regular dentist which caused me to find a new one. Words can not express how grateful I am to the staff here that gave my daughter a more comfortable, pain free experience! We have our next cleaning on the books.

This was the most thorough cleaning Ive ever had! I felt like my teeth were really shining as I smiled throughout the day! 😁 The staff was very welcoming to my family and I as well as being super gentle with my two year old. Ive had a great experience at Harlow Dental. I found them after growing tired of my previous dentists poor customer service. Keisha did a great job with my cleaning last month. She was very friendly and professional. Shana and Dr. Harlow also did an excellent job on my crown and implant. Both were friendly and walked me through everything they were going to do. Im definitely pleased with their service and the results.

I needed 2 cavities filled and Dr. Patel & Summer were an amazing team today! They made me feel comfortable, distracted me by talking about Brittany Spears, and it was all over and out within 30 minutes. Best day ever!

Awesome staff! I hadn’t been to the dentist in a couple of years and their staff really worked to get my oral health back on track. I left my first appointment with a care plan and reassurance. Three appointments later, my gums feel much better, my cavity was filled, and I even got a chipped tooth fixed. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Harlow and his team.

Went there three time. Wonderful experience every time! Ms. Kisha did awesome job cleaning my teeth. She is very professional (love her voice and smile). All the staffs are warm hearted and truly care about their patients. I would definitely go back again and I recommend this clinic to all of you.

I’ve had two appointments (a consultation with Dr. Patel for future work and a cleaning with Brooke) so far at the Steele Creek location & everyone I had the pleasure of meeting was wonderfully personable and made me feel very comfortable. Brooke also did a wonderful job cleaning my teeth! Would definitely recommend for the family. The office also played some fun music.

Terrible Dentist. I just had lower two teeth extractions. But dentist injected 4 Anesthetic injection. I do not know why dentist injected upper teeth area. Which i am just extracting lower teeth. I saw dentist he was so busy he did not know what to do on his customers. Also injections and treatment at extraction was so painful. I will not return this dentist place.

I am a new patient at Harlow Dental. The office is a clean, professional and relaxing environment. My initial visit was a wonderful experience from check-in to check-out. My dental assistant, Diane, was extremely welcoming and friendly. She made sure I was comfortable as she was aware of my nervousness at the dentist and explained what my visit would entail. She was very gentle. Dr. Harlow was thorough in his review of my x-rays and the recommended treatment plan. I am actually looking forward to my next visit!

I’m so happy I found Harlow Dental! I have so much anxiety around dentists that I had been putting it off. My experience with Harlow was the exact opposite of my experience with my previous dentist. Everyone was very friendly and reassuring and even though I had some issues that need to be addressed, I was never shamed for it and everyone was incredibly kind about it. The woman at the front was also incredibly kind and detailed explaining my insurance and coverage. I was never pressured to make an appointment or get like I was being nickel and dimed. Dr Patel was also great! She offered to come back in if I had any questions about anything. I can’t stress enough what a positive experience I had. (And this is coming from someone who absolutely put if off as long as possible.)

I would run if I were you. I wouldnt patronize this business if it were the last dentist office we available. The office manager is a disgrace and believes being condescending is a way to treat patients. I had a 7am appointment set but when I got there I got a text stating it was for 8am. I mentioned to the woman who set the appointment that I worked and could only accept 7am appointments. The second time I came Dr. Harlow asked why my appointment was set so far away from the date I came in and I expressed to him then that I could only do 7am due to my work schedule. So how all of a sudden my appointment turned to 8am is unbeknownst to be. The office manager canceled my appointment even though I was still there waiting and then reversed it back on me as if I canceled it. Run!!! Run fast and far.

Unfortunately my end result after being a patient of Dr. Harlow was emotionally draining and costly. I’m in the process of getting implants because a cap was placed over a decaying tooth.

Had an absolutely amazing experience today with Dr. Harlow at the 7th street location. Everyone in the office is extremely professional and friendly. Dr. Harlow is doing exactly what he was called to do, and doing an incredible job at it. I was so scared because its been so many years since I had an extraction. Well I felt absolutely nothing during this quick,gentle procedure and he definitely eased my fears.I should have came to him a long time ago. Highly recommended and no turning back. Family went for tooth filling this morning & had a somewhat unpleasant experience. It was somewhat surprising & disappointing as all the previous office visits had all been a pleasant experience. It started with the dental chair not working properly....the chair reclined almost backwards to the floor. The attending dentist (a young lady) told me to sit-up which was rather difficult as my back was reclined almost to the floor & I had a hard time sitting up while not Being offered any assistance to sit up. I was finally able to pull myself up. The attending dentist & the hygienist spent almost 5 minutes trying to fix the chair & during their conversation mentioned this was not the first time the chair had given them problems. I was thinking to myself I hope this wasn’t an omen of things to come. They were finally able to get the chair to work & during that time I was sitting patiently with numbing agent on my gums. During the drilling & filling process the attending dentist kept insisting I open my mouth wider while I kept trying to communicate that I was opening it as wide as possible, mind you it was difficult to communicate with dental equipment in my mouth. I was attempting to explain that my range of motion in my jaw was limited due to a previous accident years ago resulting in a fractured jaw in multiple places....it had never been a problem before during the previous visits at other dental offices so I was somewhat disappointed in the lack of soothing doctor bedside manner. The attending dentist was rather a abrupt with limited rapport. I really hate that this particular visit wasn’t as pleasant as previous visits. I’m willing to chalk it up as to they were just having a bad day(we all have those from time to time) and will visit with them again.

Heard of Harlow Dental from my insurance company and decided to check them out. The Steele Creek office is conveniently located on South Tryon in a business plaza. I emailed the office for an appointment and Raquel emailed me back within the hour. My insurance was verified and I was scheduled all through email! I emailed on a Wednesday and next day appointments were available. After scheduling my appointment, an email with the date and time as well as online paper work was sent over to me. I arrived at the office 15 mins early. Due to COVID, all you do to check in is call the office with your name and car model and the staff comes to get you when theyre ready for you. The office is gorgeous and the staff was nice and professional explaining every step of the process. Dr. Harlow was knowledgeable and explained everything that needed to be done BEFORE doing the work and then charging later. The best part is that during the filling Dr. Harlow quizzed the tech and asked her questions throughout the process. Keisha was great and explained to me ways to better brush my teeth. Check in and out was easy. Overall a great experience. Highly recommend Harlow Dental.

I cant say enough great things about this dentist office! I have not been to a dentist in nearly 10 years, so needless to say, I was quite nervous and embarrassed going into my appointment. From the very beginning of my appointment, I was welcomed with such a warm greeting and I could even see the smiles beneath the masks of each employee as I passed them. I was pleased to see they have arranged for a contact-less check-in process where you text to alert them youve arrived, it made me feel much safer. It can be scary visiting a dentist even when youre not in the middle of a pandemic, but the crew took every precaution available to make me feel safe from exposure. CiCi did most of the work on my deep cleaning and evaluation and she was an absolute pleasure, she kept me laughing and made me feel so relaxed during my visit. We had a good laugh when my earrings showed up in the dental X-ray, and I knew this would be my new dentist office for life! Dr. Harlow and Dr. Patel were also SO friendly and easy to talk to. They helped map out a plan for me to get all of my immediate issues fixed across the next few weeks. They made sure to walk me through every step so I could understand the requirements and pricing expected of me to get these issues fixed. I highly recommend this location for anyone seeking a safe, professional, friendly, and straight-forward dentist. Being able to support a black-owned business was the icing on top of the lovely cake that is Harlow Dental! Ive actually already recruited a co-worker to come here because they are the best! :) If i could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would!!

I have found my life Dentist! Not only are they excellent at completing any dental service you need , they are super gentle and kind.. I just love the experiences Ive had and they did major work on my mouth with minimal pain.They are also one of the thorough offices that specializes in the various parts of dental examination. Shonna the head dental asst. immediately made me feel like I was in the right place after having so many bad dental experiences over the years. She could tell from our initial visit I was a ball of nerves and that TLC was required. I strongly recommend this office and stand behind their work 100%.

Dr. Harlow and his staff are great! The administrative staff go above and beyond to get you into the office in a timely manner and are accommodating to schedule restrictions such as school or overseas trips. The dental hygienists are very professional and make sure they are not hurting you and that you are comfortable. Dr. Harlow is great at explaining all dental procedures and does great dental work. The root canal he did for me was painless and hasnt given me any problems since. He even called to check up on me during the root canal process to make sure I wasnt having any problems. The staff is great at being completely honest about the costs of dental procedures and are endlessly patient with explaining your dental insurance benefits to you. This office also is very reasonable with what they charge for cleanings, root canals, and other dental procedures. Dr. Harlow is also able to do everything you need in this one office. Ive been to dentists who werent able to do some procedures and sent you to another office, which is very inconvenient. This dental office is the best Ive been to, and I highly recommend it.

Let me preface this by saying that I have always been extremely uncomfortable at the dentist due to a childhood accident which left me with a broken tooth and many root canals and caps later, I am still nervous when it comes to any dental work. However, immediately upon entering Dr. Harlows office, I was welcomed with a kind smile and a friendly greeting by the front office staff. When I was called back, Yolanda, my hygienist, made me feel so comfortable and at ease. She is absolutely wonderful! She is so sweet and professional. She took care of my cleaning and was able to remove a stain that I have had for years and instantly boosted my confidence in my smile. When I returned for a crown, the office staff remembered my name and made me feel like family. Shauna, was so kind and informative while she got the process started and put in my temporary crown. She was such a pleasure to talk with and has a bubbly personality that makes you feel at ease. She is wonderful and made me feel comfortable the entire time which is so important to a nervous patient. Dr. Harlow is so friendly and extremely thorough with his work and set me up with a treatment plan to have my front teeth fixed, something that I have wanted for 15 years now. Office manager was professional and extremely helpful scheduling an emergency appointment. The staff was very thorough when dealing with my insurance provider to ensure accurate discounts and reduced fees for all services. Dr. Harlow demonstrated that he cares about the comfort and treatment of my dental health.

My first initial visit to Harlow Dentistry on March 2020 I went in to have a tooth extraction . After consulting with Dr Harlow he assured me that my tooth was good and worth saving his words I save teeth and yours is good and can be saved Dr Harlow recommended a root canal and a crown over back molar. After the root canal I called into the office and expressed to Dr Harlow that I was in pain 2 weeks later and I wanted this tooth extracted.Again (against my first thought) let him tell me its a good tooth and he could save the tooth. Every appointment I expressed I wanted an extraction even after I paid out of pocket 330 first visit and 433 on 7/15 The $433 was what I was asked to pay to cover my dental plan of impressions and crown. Ok let me go back to I go in for my impressions and Dr Harlow is sawing my Good tooth and place a temporary cap to wear for 2 weeks until my permanent crown comes. My gums have been sore for 2 weeks literally! I received an EOB from my insurance stating I still had a balance so I go into the office today to tell him that I feel he duped me. Why would he tell me he was Saving a tooth that hed sawed down to a stub. And I still owe more money. Instead of him coming to speak with me he sent his office manager to explain the charges 🙄 . After she told me that the front office should have collected more of my money on the previous visit then they requested. I got up and refused that crown and headed to the exit. There at the front door stood Dr Harlow as if he was discussing with f the front desk staff m6 charges. He shockingly me exiting and then JUST said hello come back whenever you would like our help. This entire ordeal and practice is about the MONEY!!!HE DIDNT CARE ABOUT SAVING A TOOTH THAT I WANTED PULLED HE KNEW THAT LEADING ME ALL THE WAY AROUND THE MULBERRY BUSH WAS MORE MONEY THAN THE EXTRACTION. I AM CONTACTING MY INSURANCE AND INFORM THEM NOT TO PAY FOR THE CROWN THAT I LEFT ON THE TABLE. IM SO DISAPPOINTED . MY FEELINGS AND MOUTH ARE IN PAIN.

Went for a cleaning today, Yulonda was awesome. Met Dr Patel to set treatment plan, got good feeling from her. Look forward to my next visit, not too many people can say that.

After being treated rudely at a Dentist office (Friendly Dental Whitehall location who is not so friendly by the way ) it makes you appreciate one that doesnt. This was my 1st time visiting this office and I was thoroughly impressed. I recommend this office and location ONLY if you want to be treated professionally in a professional, clean, friendly and staff knowledgeable environment. The Dentist and Hygenist was very knowledgeable and showed a great deal of passion as it relates to their profession and craft. Having healthy gums and teeth is a goal. It took a little longer than I expected, but it was my 1st visit and I could tell my teeth and gums were being well taken care of. The office staff was very professional and helpful. They explained the care credit process to me where I understood. I had a bad experience at Friendly dental and found Harlow Dental. Dr. Harlow was very nice and explained everything to me. After my root canal, the office called me the next day to follow up. I thought that was awesome. The best dental experience I ever had.

Staff members were very friend I will admit. I wanted to love this practice and I wanted to like Dr Harlow, everything was going well and he did a small filling on my tooth unfortunately I ended up needing a root canal. No worries I understand those things happened. Got my root canal and went back at the appropriate time for my crown and he said the access was so small I wouldn’t need a crown he could just fill it and that would save me money. It didn’t see right to be as I was always taught all root canals need crowns. I trusted him so I went with it. Months later I started having some sensitivity so I went to A new dentist and they definitely said I needed a crown. Present day I’m having more sensitivity and still waiting to get the crown, now my tooth has a crack and I’m hoping the root isn’t cracked or I’ll lose the tooth! BottomLine if a dentist tells you you don’t need a crown after a root canal run! I know that much and I didn’t go to dental school.

We continue to visit the office even though it almost 30 minutes from our new house. The staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. Yolanda was my hygienist today and she was FABULOUS!!! Overall very pleased with our experiences!

I do not like going to the dentist and have anxiety when I go. Even though there were plenty of cancelled spots, today wad the first day I started my treatment plan. Dr Harlow was not only professional, he was very kind and has a great sense of humor. The staff was very nice as well and made me feel very comfortable. Im so happy I sound a great dentist.

The hygienist used a water laser cleaner followed by the traditional pick- practically painless and she was meticulous about her work. Extremely patient staff Dr. Harlow and Shonna his dental assistant will truly listen to your concerns and are VERY patient! They actually allow you to be a part of the solution. I had a root canal and they took breaks allowing me to calm down (i am a difficult patient) and talked through this procedure the entire way. I moved from the Charlotte area and am now 2 hours from them but will go back there every time!!! 5 stars for this amazing staff from routine cleanings to other complicated matters.

How often do you go to a dentist and get churned through quickly while you have no idea what happened? I am a first time visitor and everyone I encountered today was so welcoming. One of the easiest ways to set yourself apart as a business is to figure out whats not working well in the industry and do it better. Dr. Harlow and his whole staff have this nailed. Everything about this experience was warm, friendly and best of all - came with an explanation. From walking in the door to heading back out to my car, everyone I met took time to get to know me. They explained what they were going to do before they did it. And, they checked in to make sure I was doing ok throughout. On top of that, I hadnt been to a dentist in quite a while and no one made me feel like I was in the wrong for that. I am grateful for a good experience and for such friendly, welcoming people. I have horrible anxiety when I go to the dentist. The staff here and Dr. Harlowe are extremely good at calming my nerves, explaining everything so I know what to expect. They are awesome. I would recommend this practice to literally anyone.

Back in February I found out that I had an outstanding balance of over $400 on my account. I called in to ask how and they said my insurance paid much less than they anticipated. Come to find out they never submitted the paperwork for one of my visits so a claim was never filed. I asked that day if they could resubmit to the insurance company and make a note on my file. I called several times in following weeks to check the status and after being told it could take 6 or more weeks to update, was assured that theyd make a note on my file that it was in progress. Fast forward to yesterday where I got a letter from a debt collector. I called my insurance provider today and the dental office never even submitted the paperwork, or made a phone call to submit the information needed to get this taken care of!! I am livid. In the process of buying a house and now I have a debt collector after me for money that my insurance company would have already covered had they done what they told me they were doing almost 3 months ago.Not to mention I ended up needing a root canal on one of the teeth they filled (surprise surprise, those bills have already been covered because the other dental office submitted information correctly!).

Great first visit from start to finish! It was refreshing because this was the best experience Id had at a dentist in a while. I told them about my last not-so-great appointment and they were careful and understanding. Thank you!

I have been at Harlow for a year now and have had great experiences! Hygienist Stephanie along with the rest of the Hygiene staff are wonderful... they are kind, knowledgeable, considerate and great at all they do! Being 39 weeks pregnant they made sure my visit was prompt, efficient and comfortable.

Had my second visit today for a root canal. Was a great experience. I am no fan of the dentist but this experience and great staff made me change my mind. I will recomend Dr. Harlow to anyone.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! The staff from the front door all the way to the back with Dr.Harlow, were amazing! They took care of my problem right then and there! Plus I was a walk in!Very relaxing atmosphere showed me all my results and went over all my options! I have found a new dentist! Keep up the good work everyone! 😁

Imagine my surprise when I showed up today for my appointment and was told that I didn’t have one. I researched this office and was told good things. So I filled out the new patient form on the website and followed up the next day in regards to an appointment. The lady who I spoke to was really nice (sorry I can’t remember her name now) she said had receive my form and proceeded to set my appointment. Appointment was schedule for today 1/29 I remember because I took off work and even stressed it had to be soon because I was experiencing pain in one tooth. All paperwork was already filed before arrival as they sent me an email to complete. I arrive today and the receptionist looks at me crazy when I said I’m here for an appointment. She looks me up and said my appointment is for 2/12. VERY DISAPPOINTING. I asked if anything could be done she says no. There’s no way I made an appointment that far out if I’m already experiencing pain. Now I have to wait even longer.

Love this clinic everyone very nice, great work and the doctor take the time to schedule my appointment when they was about to close. a Thankfully they happen to have something for the next day!👍😉😊🦷 Happy tooth! 😆

Everyone at this office is super friendly, professional, & confident in what they can do, & services they can provide. It had been too long since I have been to the dentist, so I had a lot of work needed, & they got me in quickly & did a superb job. I was so impressed that I made my daughter an appointment as well, taking her from her current place to Harlow Dental because I know the quality of care she will receive. They work with you on payment plans, & dont schedule you months out, but get you in & out so you can get on with the rest of your life. I was also very nervous & they took the time to explain to me everything they were doing & helped ease my anxiousness. I would recommend this place to anyone in need of a dentist that actually cares.

Office was extremely accommodating for a last minute appointment! The receptionist called me about an hour before my appointment to get my insurance squared away which was so helpful!! It was my daughter’s first time and both the hygienist and doctor were great with her!! She left excited for her next appointment!!My only small wish is that they had something in the waiting room to help keep her busy while we waited (we didn’t wait long at all!!)
