Apparently the employees at the desk are incapable of actually activating a new card while youre in the building, and require you to register it by calling a phone number. What they fail to mention is the automatic system for activating cards at SC Federal is the most incredibly useless implement of electronic equipment devised by man, and that it will take you hours of searching for an actual human to talk to that can register your card.
