PT and OT therapists and assistants are phenomenal! They provide great care with realistic goals.However, the support staff is lacking. Because Medicare requires that home health agencies take over medical supplies that are mail ordered, we must get them through Amedisys. There is always a problem with these orders. Multiple changes in Mgmt have not resolved the issues.We stay with Amedisys because of the outstanding therapy they provide. But, my patience is running out.

This is by far the best agency Ive ever dealt with. They are on time they are very polite and very courteous. Really really nice people. I have dealt with a lot of agencies over the years. My mom recently needed care at home and I am very grateful for all that they do. Our nurse is very knowledgeable and kind. Her therapist really help get her back on her feet and moving around. I would recommend them to anyone that has a family member in need.

Worst experience ever! Use another home healthcare provider! They dont know what theyre doing. It was mass confusion and chaos. They are apparently unable to order correct supplies. They give you incorrect information, call and apologize and say they will make it right and then mess it up again! The chaos they put us through was unforgivable.

Not a friendly atmosphere for the disabled who need help the most. Always late to their appointments. Then they show up for cancelled appointments. They dont listen to your concerns and then complain that you didnt tell them when you did. Not very nice to their clients. I would never recommend this outfit.
