Dr Scarlett is the best. She truly cares for her patients. She called me on a Saturday afternoon with test results. Did not expect that. She listens to my questions or concerns then she gives an answer that’s understandable. She knows her stuff that other gi docs could no figure out what was wrong. I drive an hour and a half to see her and it’s worth it. Yes it takes time to get an appointment with her but when your good at what you do I believe that’s why it takes time. I wish she be my primary care doc. Have not found a good one in years since mine retired. Awesome doctor. Knows her stuff. Highly recommend

Dr. Scarlett is exemplary! It does take months to get in to see her, but thats what happens when youre good at what you do. ...and shes VERY good at what she does! Im very grateful for her services! I had been having problems for decades and she resolved things about as well as could be expected in one visit. It took a couple of visits to find the right meds, but she identified the problem in the first visit! Im very grateful for her help!

Does not respond to any messages via mychart or voicemails left at her office at all! I saw Dr. Scarlett in August of 2020, at which time, she ordered some tests for me to have done. After I had completed the first test, I left multiple voicemails with her head nurse as well as 2 messages via mychart asking the for doctor’s opinion about the results. Needless to say, I received no response. After 3 months or so with no reply, I finally had to schedule a televisit in order to talk to Dr. Scarlett about these results. When I explained how difficult it was to get ahold of her, she responded by telling me that I needed to leave a voicemail telling the nurse to call me back and verify that she got the message. I mean that’s just ridiculous! Currently, I’m having trouble getting her to give me another set of test results that was completed over 2 months ago. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone, she won’t answer any of your questions without having to schedule another appointment.

Amazing dr! Ive been to multiple GI drs, none have been able to figure out my condition. After 1 appt with Dr Scarlett, I feel more confident we will find answers and a solution to my pain. Thank you Dr Scarlett and the rest of your staff in your practice for making me feel at ease..

She spends lots of time with you. Includes you in the treatment process. She is all that and a bag of chips. Would strongly recommend her!

Dr. Scarlett did my colonoscopy at UNC Hospital GI Endoscopy Department. I couldnt have asked for a better procedure. Everything was explained ahead of time, and went as promptly and smoothly as anyone could want. It was a pleasure meeting her, and anything that I need in her field, or my family, in the future, she will be requested. I was a little anxious, but she took that away. Bar none, the BEST gastroenterologist Ive been to in the past 20 years! Dr. Scarletts the whole enchilada: Head, Heart, Hands. Period. The cherry on the cupcake: Painless!

I have seen Dr. Scarlet a few of times and she has answers for my problems that other doctors could not answer!!!!

Dr. Scarlett really knows her stuff. Unfortunately it takes a long time to get in to see her. With that said I would not change doctors she is worth the wait
