My mother has been living in a LIVEWELL home for the past year and a half. I am very grateful for the homey, nurturing environment that LIVEWELL provides. The smaller home setting makes it easier for staff to provide close supervision, yet residents can also feel a sense of privacy if they want to retreat to their own bedrooms. The meals are made in the home’s kitchen and residents eat together. Because it is a smaller setting, staff is consistent and familiar and there is less staff turnover (as compared to the larger assisted living facilities). Family members get to know staff and there is excellent communication from staff to family.

My Mom has lived here for 2 years and I love it! Diane and her team are absolutely the best there is. The house is set back in the woods, so it is a very serene place. But the best part is how compassionate and loving ALL of the staff is. You will never have a moment of worry if your loved one is with them. I was able to finally breathe when I found LiveWell. Thank you Diane and the entire staff for ALL you do every single day!!

Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. This is a company that puts alot of energy into the educational process for both its employees and resident families. I am happy I chose LiveWell for my husband and grateful for their patience with me and my family during our senior care learning curve journey. There are alot of us so there was lots of explaining and reexplaining to do as each of us made our visits before making a decision.

The team of caregivers are the most dedicated and loyal around. Their commitment to the residents is admirable and creates a safe and trusting environment.

Use to be a great company before the good people started to leave. I worked home care, but unfortunately when the client left for another assisted living for dementia... i havent been successful to get anymore clients, and as i were pregnant, they denied me every client i could work for because of my pregnancy! After i had my child, it has been a crisis just to be able to get in contact with someone by phone??? Too far to ride just for the owner not to ever be there 🙄, so im trying to figure out if i never quit am i still employed? Been 2 years and still no returned emails, texts, phone calls, from the owner of the raggedy company.

Dian was very rude to me and she hung up on me when I was trying to explain to her why I didnt come back for orientation. She is not fit to be an administrator. Her assistant Meme was very sweet to me.

Within a year of its diagnosis dads dementia rapidly progressed and we had difficulty finding a place that could provide proper care and maximize his quality of life. My sister found Livewell and from the first day we visited we knew wed found a home for dad.

We heard about Livewell from family friends and from the moment we visit the home we knew we had found the place for Mom. We were impressed with and appreciated the care provided and whenever we visited, it felt like we were visiting family.

This is a very unprofessional organization. Diane Beckett was very rude to me on the telephone. There is a staff named Anita there, and she was very loud and unprofessional as well. I will NEVER send my love one to that place, NEVER!

Update: Diane asked us to remove this review because she is working on these issues, but we had another incident today that caused hassle (11/28/2016). We have no intention of removing this review but upgraded it to 3 stars based on her responsiveness. My parents have been living there for 6 months now. At first they tried to do things for them, now its a struggle to get over the laziness hump with any of their staff. We constantly have to call the house manager and the staff manager (different people) to find out who made crazy decisions like the other day... we were told we dont give your dad his vitamins anymore because its too much trouble and a week ago: oh, I dont know how those medications were screwed up so badly (they keep getting mixed up for both mom and dad). We asked them to keep the meds in the kitchen, they put them above the stove where they melted into a gooey mess.Their kitchen is not suitable in size for cooking for three couples. They keep making packaged food like tacos which nobody there likes or has ever eaten. They seem incapable of simply roasting a chicken and making mashed potatoes, which everyone would love and would be naturally gluten free. Our family has GF issues and they totally ignore this, despite being told several times. The problem is, none of their staff is assigned to ONE HOUSE, and the staff going on and off duty means that nobody gets any messages. Also their administration forces all messages to be passed from the caregiver to the management, then back tot he other caregivers. This means, for example, that a caregiver going off duty cant tell the caregiver going on duty anything, its not allowed for them to do so. So messages are lost. You can tell them 100 times to give meds at 8pm, and they will change the time 5 times a week. They claim its because mom or dad decided it. So they blame the tenants for anything they do wrong. It took us three weeks to establish them helping our parents in the shower. Yet another long time tenant has had help in the shower for over a year to my knowledge. They have a creepy agreement that basically says they can video or take pictures of our parents and post them online without our consent (for advertising? idk). And we didnt sign it, but they still took video and pictures of our parents. When we asked to have that deleted, they never gave us proof that they deleted it. And they still continue to abuse my parents privacy in this way.Even Paul, puts obstacles in your way instead of solving problems. It takes him forever to decide what to do about a single maintenance decision. It took three months to get cable installed in my parents room, although the whole house has cable. He makes fun of my parents requests instead of just doing them, or refusing to do them simply and clearly. As a result, my mom is calling me almost daily for silly things like Im not sure I dialed my phone right. and Whats for dinner? because they for example, put the menu up in the kitchen, and have a rule that nobodys allowed in the kitchen except staff. They argue with her about everything instead of just helping her.And him. Dad has to have someone sit with him for 10 minutes to get him to take his meds, and weve told them a hundred times to exclude her from that. They continue to drop off the meds, expecting a sleeping man to take them, and ask her to help him instead... while they play on their cell phones instead of lifting a finger. The only reason they get two stars is, they allow a couple where one has dementia, to live together. But theres another home they could go to that would also do that. Im looking into it and also looking into remodeling so they can live here with us for the next few years. Living with us would actually be cheaper than the $15,000 per MONTH they require for this hassle. It seems to me they just opened this new branch of their business, but hey werent prepared for the complexities, and they are learning at our parents expense. We are not happy at all.
