Champaign Dental Group has completely changed the dental experience for me. I have had issues with my teeth (thanks genetics) my entire life. Constantly terrified of the dentist just because of past experiences. I can now say with confidence that I am not scared of the dentist (as long as it’s Dr. Min)!! The entire office is wonderful, from front desk staff to hygienists, to assistants! I have never had a bad experience.

The staffs are super-kind and professional in every single way. My two daughters had their first ever visit dental clinic here in Champaign and both of them were having great time. Thank you for all the great service!

I love this office. I have always had issues with dentist but the staff here are friendly and do a great job communicating with me. Always sends a friendly reminder of appointments. I am in the waiting room for very little of my appointment time and if the dentist is running a bit behind, which has only happened once with me, then they keep me up to date. I highly recommend this office and the their great staff.

Everything about this place was as awesome as it could be...for a dentist visit. The staff were super friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. They made me feel comfortable regardless of my teeths condition and the process by which they examined and proceeded to diagnose my teeth/gum issues was relatively painless and professional. I am deathly afraid of going to the dentist and was anxious after moving here a year ago because I knew I had to find a special dentist’s office. I did. Alissa was an amazing hygienist and Dr. Min was a wonderful dentist. Highly recommend for those ‘dentist phobes’ like me.

Was very nervous about my visit. They did an awesome job, made me feel comfortable and were super easy to work with.

Our 7 year old daughter needed a root canal and another dentist was hesitant because of her age. From the moment we arrived I could tell that everyone was invested in making my daughter feel comfortable and confident. Kelsi was the dental assistant and she immediately connected with my daughter and instilled a calmness in her. Dr.Min was able to connect with her and talk to her so that she understood what was going on. I am happy to say that she was able to sit for the root canal with no Nitrous or added treatments which was important to us. She was back to her normal self within a couple hours and back at school. I can not say enough great things about the entire practice!

I did not enjoy my visit. I saw the doctor about 30 min after my appointment time. They were so busy that they were unable to fix my chipped tooth at the time of visit and the only X-ray that was taken was not taken properly yet my insurance was still charged. So I had them retake a proper one to be sent to my other dentist. No apologies were made and customer service was subpar. The doctor was in the room with me for 2 minutes at the most before running off and not even waiting to answer my questions. I will not be returning.

I really like my hygienist, Laurie, in Champaign. She is professional yet nice and friendly.

Went for a second opinion and they gave me a very detailed explanation of my situation and showed me my X-rays and some models to understand further action to be taken. Felt comfortable and informed.

My son had his wisdom tooth removed recently . We are out of state & my son studies at UIUC. We called up a few times to speak with the dr & the receptionist since my son was alone. They were very cooperative & helpful. Also they did a great job with the tooth removal. Very happy with the practice.

The staff here took the time to understand my wants and needs. My dental anxiety has prevented me from doin necessary work for years, decades. They are very tolerant of my anxiety and extra needs for sedation and provide choices for both my treatment and comfort. They advise what work they think I should do because they understand my goals but also offer cheaper solutions for me to consider. My overall health is greatly improved by CDG’s help to address my extensive dental issues I’ve been putting off for so long. Worst dental experience! I did a filling half years ago, and it fell off about one month ago. I went back to the champaign dental group, Dr. Min polished my teeth and re-put the filling, and it fell off again after just four weeks. If it fell off again and again, and my teeth need to be polished again and again till the whole teeth being goneFollow up:After my fillings fell off two times, Champaign dental group told me I might need to do a crown, which is additional cost on me, and I decided to went to see another dentist, and refilled again, and the filling with the other dentist is smooth, and felt like real teeth. While the fillings with Champaign dental group has uneven texture, and the floss can not go through, it was a really careless and imprecise work.

I have spent many years avoiding dentists due to depression / anxiety / low self esteem in regards to my teeth. I was finally let no choice but to been seen, so I went to see Dr. Min. They were aware of my anxiety, and they did all they could to make me at ease. I was even given a weighted blanket during my visit. No one made me feel embarrassed or ashamed. I didnt feel judged. It felt like they truly understood my anxiety and wanted to be sure my experience was a good one.Dr. Min and the entire staff are so amazing. I had a treatment performed by Tori.My treatment required numbing agents, which were performed very smoothly (the kind of swift and painless dentistry I imagine people dream of), however sometimes my body responds with panic (attacks) in new and unfamiliar situations. This began to happen and Tori was kind, patient, understanding and real about the situation. When all was well she worked quickly (and efficiently) to maximize my peace of mind. The whole experience, thanks to Tori, was painless, professional and personal.She also really knows what she is doing and sincerely cares about her profession. Ill absolutely trust her with future dental work.

Extremely unhappy to say the least. Scheduled a cleaning and left the building without one because it was decided that I needed a certain type of cleaning that would have cost me $320 out of pocket and of course, this was the only cleaning that could be done because it was the “recommended type of cleaning”That is terrible customer service! I’m sorry, do I not have a say in my own personal hygiene care? It was VERY clear that my teeth and gums were in need of some attention, but because I wouldn’t cough up $320, I received no care at all! I’m pretty sure there’s a word for that! Thank you, Champaign Dental, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Everyone was so professional, friendly, efficient and took time to explain things to my father who doesn’t speak English. The only thing that was a bummer was the process to get the dentures replaced took too long. It might not have been in their control, so not deducting stars for it (Someone should look into making dentures in 24 hours. They’d be rich). Besides that, it was a great experience.

Had an incredible experience on my first visit. They had to do a lot and some of it was a bit nerve racking, but Tori was proactive and communicative on everything she was doing and what I should expect to feel.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. I was able to get in very quickly, having acute tooth pain. Dr quickly diagnosed my problem and was ready to treat. They put a treatment plan together based on my insurance and gave me options. I choose to reschedule and they ordered meds for me to take until my next appt. Everyone there was very friendly. A well run office and ready to help in an emergency.

Very pleased with my first experience here. Even though the office was busy, they were very organized and I never felt like they were rushing with me. My hygienist was super friendly and informative. I appreciated the detailed care plan they outlined for me. They were upfront about costs and I didnt feel pressured to make any decisions for follow ups at the time. I love this office. The entire staff is friendly. Tori, my hygienist, is excellent and such a pleasure to be around. And Dr. Son is superb. He has done 3 fillings and a crown for me. The crown looks beautiful and feels absolutely perfect. I cant recommend this place enough.

Hygienist is great, thorough. Dentist is very competent. His visit is on the short side, however. Dentists never stay long at this place. Tend to be fresh out of dental school, acquire some experience, then start their own clinics. But I have been going there for 15 years now, so it cant be bad.

I went to Champaign Dental Group today for my first time at the dentist in quite a few years. Calling to make the appointment, I was glad to have a kind receptionist who wasnt judgmental about my time away. I was able to download and complete the new patient information ahead of my appointment, as well. The hygienist was incredibly kind and explained everything ahead of time to make sure I was comfortable. Dr. Son was great to speak with and gave helpful recommendations. I was happy to schedule my next appointment before I left.

Doctor Min was professional, kind, and fast (which is of great importance in these dental surgeries!) Speaking from a foreign student from Beijing’s perspective, he is by far the best dentist I have ever had. Six stars if I can!

I live in Decatur, IL and see a dentist here in town. They told me I had to go get my wisdom teeth taken out elsewhere because they dont do extractions. I called 4 different dental/oral surgeon office in Decatur, Bloomington and Champaign. All of them told me it would be $3000 or more to get all 4 extracted and they all required that I go back to my dentist (whos earliest appointment is August) to get new x-rays. Basically it was gonna be September before I realistically could get my teeth, which are deteriorating and hurt terribly, taken out. Susan and Sandy with Champaign Dental Group took my call, helped me figure out what It would cost, got me in 3 days later, and took care of me from start to finish. Basically what was gonna cost, at the lowest estimate $3000 and couldnt be done until September per 4 other offices got done by Champaign Dental for $207 total and 3 days later. Now Im resting comfortably (somewhat) and the procedure is over! Thanks Champaign Dental, I now have a new Dentist!

Employees are amazing! Each time I have gone in, it has been an excellent experience. The assistants are kind, friendly and understanding of insecurities with dentists. Johsoon is the best dentist I have ever had....definitely deserves 5 stars, however the more people who know how great he is the harder it will be to make appointments. My 12 year old says hes a ninja

I was so excited to go to this office! I was a late due to gps issues and they were still able to get me in with out hurrying or shortening my appointment! Everybody was super kind and caring. I really liked my hygienist and Doctor. If you are looking for a new office or are not satisfied with your current one I would absolutely recommend this one!

The staff and head dentist are incredibly professional and friendly. I took my 4 yr old there for a a regular cleaning, and was in and out in 20 min. not including waiting a few in the lobby. Ask for Tori, she really makes the kids feel safe and comfortable while she cleans and flosses. I highly recommend Champaign Dental.

Tooth pain, and you do x rays and a limited exam and then tell me I need to come back for a cleaning. Also Dr. Sun also isn’t the most friendly or welcoming

There was a problem with the schedule but they were still able to get me in. I would recommend this team to anyone. Lori and Christina were awesome. I am so incredibly impressed by the compassion and professionalism of the staff at Champaign Dental Group. I have had some terrible experiences with dentists in the area in the past so I was very nervous going into my recent appointment. I was pleasantly surprised to find that all of the staff made sure that I was at ease and content. Specifically, Tori worked with me for most of my appointment and she was extremely kind and attentive to my concerns and she put me at ease in no time. I am so happy that I have finally found a dentist in town that makes me feel like I am being cared for. I will definitely be coming back here from now on!

I have been a patient at Champaign Dental for 13 years. The hygienists are always kind, gentle, and efficient. The dentists are great as well. The office staff is helpful.The only reason I did not give them 5 stars was because twice now I have scheduled appointments with their call service only to not have the appointments registered with the actual office staff. Other than that I have been very happy with Champaign Dental.

My wisdom tooth broke in half so it needed to be extracted right away. Dr. Son and the rest of the staff not only had me in and out very quickly, it was also mostly pain free! And they also gave me a really great price! I will be returning for all of my dental work and will recommend them to everyone I know.

Lori is my dental hygienist and I love her! Not only is she professional, but she is very sweet, caring and provides great customer service. The rest of the staff that I have encounter with, even for brief moments have also been friendly and professional.

Part of my tooth had broken off Thursday night so I called Champaign Dental Group Friday morning and they got me in a hour later. When I got there the office staff was amazing! So friendly and so helpful! Charlotte was awesome and so caring! Dr. Colin was so nice and explained all my options to me and made everything painless! I ended up having to get an implant. Gina at the front desk was so helpful with figuring out payment options. Everyone at this office was so focused on making sure I had a wonderful and painless experience! Im so happy I came to this office!

I really really liked the dentist but I picked this place because it said it was affordable but it wasn’t affordable for me. My income is only social security and what I make as a school bus driver, I am sad that I can’t get my teeth fixed but it is to far out of my price range thank you any way.

I was in horrible pain and they worked me in on a Friday afternoon for a root canal and 2 crowns. They were very kind and even followed up to check on me. The staff here are very personable and make me feel comfortable at each visit. I originally started going here because I needed sedation dentistry due to having multiple problems with my teeth and I have very high anxiety. I started with complete sedation then moved to an oral medication/hypnotic drug. Im happy to say that due to my comfort level and pain tolerance now I have not taken any sedation drugs my last two visits. (And it was my choice) Thank you to everyone at Champaign Dental Group for taking such good care of me.

They are masters of restoring smiles and teeth! Even without insurance they worked with me and my status as a veteran to cut me a deal i could afford to pay.
